The Best Dentist…read more EVER!!! Listen...I have a serious phobia of the dentist, always have. Like lay there and cry and clench my fists and sweat. I've given birth to 4 human beings, and still the dentist office scares me more. Its a legitimate problem. After a horrendous experience a few years ago at Aspen Dental (dont ever go there!), I found Dr. Milza! He's amazing, and so is his staff. He's fast and friendly and kind and gentle. He treats everyone like a person, with feelings. And is so sincere. I actually stopped taking my children to the pediatric dentist and now they all go to Dr. Milza and really do love going. Trust me when I say, he is the BEST! I still tear up and cringe but he makes me feel at ease...and not like a huge baby.

Yet never sent me home with papers regarding my bill, regarding my appointment and pre/post op care (I promise I asked if there was any when leaving my consultation). No emails regarding this matter either, only appointment confirmations/reminders. I showed up for my appointment, 15 minutes early, told the doctor i had a half cup of water on my way to the office. He looked at me like i had 3 heads and talked to me in a tone as if i should have known? DESPITE receiving no papers/acknowledgments on this matter . Sure we talked at the consultation but that was a month ago and I was anxious. Guess they expect you to remember everything that was said to you while they talk in a condescending tone (they can say they didn't but I work in mental-health care and know the importance of communication). This may not fall on the doctor, but is there no communication in between staff to ensure your clients are taken care of? Take your business elsewhere these people don't know how to communicate. I think that it's a combination of drinking fluorinated water, getting fluoride treatments as a kid, brushing/flossing regularly and yes...some luck. I've never had a cavity in spite of some lapses in my getting cleanings over the years. Now that I am a little bit older, I try to keep up with it. I have been visiting a different location (same practice) in the area, however, Heather...the dental hygienist...also works out of this office. I basically follow Heather wherever she goes. Earlier this week I had my overdue appointment for a cleaning and, as always, Heather did a marvelous job. I don't have the fear of dentists that many others do... simply because I have never had a cavity (nor any major dental work ...with the exception of having my wisdom teeth removed a long, long time ago). When I met the dentist herself... I believe it was Dr. Smith... I was very happy with her expertise and approach. I had to go back for a brief visit the following day for a preventative procedure and even that was a good experience. They are very serious about Covid protocols which makes me very comfortable/happy. This particular office is actually much more convenient to where I live, so I plan on making this my primary dentist location moving forward. I highly recommend.

I recently needed a root canal done and since I've never had a root canal, I checked out dentist in…read moremy area. Out of all the reviews that I have found, I found Dr. William Lyons (DDS). I had my root canal done today by Dr. Lyons and I have to say, that I have had a very, very pleasant experience. Dr. Lyons, and his assistant Sage were terrific. I was done in around 30 minutes and during the procedure, Dr. Lyons would make sure that I was comfortable. He would also ask I was in any pain. Not at all! He explained everything to me while showing me the xrays that he took. I have had my teeth cleaned by my regular dentist and she does a great and thorough job but I would ask her if she was digging for clams... I can't stress enough that if you need a root canal, you have to get it done here at Dr. Lyons office He is right in Queensbury, NY. It was just a very pleasant, professional experience. I recommend highly! You will not be disappointed. Thank you Dr. Lyons for making my first and only root canal a very comfortable, non-pain experience.

At the end of your "cleaning" where they scrape at your teeth and they accidentally pick at your gums, they brush your teeth with disgusting toothpaste, they put fluoride on your teeth which they smear all over your teeth, lips, tounge and, gums. They do a bad job overall and they don't care much. The office itself is quick to get you in and is a good environment with arcade games (many are broken) and school chairs to sit in. The receptionist is the only decent person there.
