I have been a patient of Dr. Halparin for over 20 years. I saw him once in the downstairs pharmacy…read morebut he did not acknowledge me. During my next appointment (way back when) I asked him why. He said because of the nature of his specialty some of his patients preferred not to be acknowledged publicly. It was incomprehensible to me that anyone who could literally save your life would have to consider that. Aside from his technical skills, I have appreciated his forthright approach, respectful manner, subtle underlying strength and sense of humour. I also have appreciated the support of his staff from the assistant at the office to the nurses at the procedures and in the recovery area. It is probable that if I had not seen Dr. Halparin and been comfortable enough under his care to see him every few years ,I may not have been around to see my grandchildren May I repeat the slogan "Don't be embarassed to Death." Find a Dr. that you trust and take care of business. Respectfully Sandra A.

This medication, in certain circumstances, must be taken (witnessed is the term used) by a pharmacist. This involves a daily trip to a pharmacy. Every day. For the foreseeable future. As a responsible, more or less law abiding citizen, for his own reasons that I cannot fathom, Dr. Baff won't prescribe this medication in a form that I can take home and use like the responsible adult I am. I spent a few years in the regular army, in the infantry. I was trusted, by the government, with all manner of weapons and munitions (FNC1A1,M67s,M72A1s,M18A1s etc etc etc) back when I was in my early 20s. In my early 50s, I can't seem to be trusted with a few bottles of medication with no real Street value and the amount prescribed is paltry. So, to summarize, if you would like to be treated like a child, Dr. Baff is ready to slap the diaper on.
