I really like that Dr. Kass talked about a lot of other treatments (lasers, etc), why he didn't use them and why he used the things he did instead. I felt like I was in really good hands. My pre-op was two days before my surgery date and I was given all my prescriptions and instructions for aftercare. I was so ridiculously excited. Why is it that time seems to go by so slowly when you're really excited? It is so annoying! I am a super impatient person. Finally, it was time. My boyfriend drove me to the office where Shay (I think) took me back. My memories get really blurry here but I vaguely remember sitting in the chair and then that was pretty much it until I was getting wheeled out to my boyfriend's car. I was told later when I was more coherent that I was in surgery for something like 4 or 5 hours. My skin was really bad. I had pretty horrible scarring and Dr. Kass decided to do several different procedures. It included: 1. Blood draw and PRP injections 2. TCA peel 3. Microneedling 4. Subcision 5. Fat injections (with minor lipo to get the fat from around my belly button) 6. And the big mamma Hetter peel I'm pretty sure that was everything... Like I said, the whole day was pretty blurry so it's possible I'm forgetting something. No idea what order everything happened in lol. My face looked pretty crazy immediately afterwards. It was so so swollen. The swelling went away after a day or so but then my skin took on the appearance of a sunburned alligator for about a week while it prepared to peel and then actually peeled. The pain was very intense when I first "woke up" in the recovery area but they took great care of me and I had my prescriptions waiting for me at home. Once I woke up from my 8 hour nap at home (lol), the pain was very tolerable. I have some great pictures of those first 7 days and even though it looks really bad, it didn't hurt at all by the second or third day. It was mostly just soreness after day 2 and some pain from the lipo around my belly button. Not bad though. Not bad at all. I had everything done on a Thursday and by Monday I was able to work from home without any issues other than being a bit more tired than normal. For the duration of the peel, I had to do diluted vinegar soaks every two hours and it surprisingly didn't burn at all. In fact, it felt pretty nice. It was also pretty nice getting the princess treatment from my boyfriend even if he did call me an alligator ______________________________________________ It's now been 4 months since my treatment and I just had my second post-op. The redness is mostly gone and my skin looks amazing. There was ~60% improvement which is just freaking crazy. I never thought my skin would look so good. I wish I had access to the before and after pics that Dr. Kass took with his professional camera but they will probably be on his website. My skin should continue to improve for the next several months. I am already planning on getting everything done again in 8 months. I literally cannot wait. Everyone was amazing and honestly I am so happy I found them. I'm moving to Texas in a few weeks and you better believe I will be flying back next year to see them all again.

I was asked for my ID and to pay a 500. deposit before seeing the doctor. I thought that was strange. Why am I being charged prior to getting the fillers? I asked why and she explained to me that they had someone run out without paying...ummm ok but what does that have to do with me? I paid, gave a copy of my drivers license and filled out some long form then I was shown into the office. They took pictures of me before seeing the doctor! Now I'm starting to feel very uncomfortable. These steps to see a plastic surgeon were not something I encountered before. Dr. Newman comes in with 3-4 other women (nurses or who knows) and starts to discuss fillers. He was not the nicest guy. I found him to be off putting and arrogant. I would like to think he was having a bad day but it could be just his personality. I really don't know. I felt very violated and disrespected from the time I walked in until I left. I had had enough at this point and asked for my money back and left. The whole experience was so disheartening that I gave up on plastics until last year. I ended up finding a great surgeon in Sarasota! The experience was like night and day! I had fillers and a breast augmentation in Sarasota. Yelp friends, be sure to choose a super kind, polite and compassionate doctor. Don't settle for mediocracy and arrogance. Also, be sure you read REAL reviews from REAL people. Fake reviews usually don't have a picture of the reviewer. Fake reviews only have 1-4 reviews in total on their profile. Its not uncommon for staff, friends and family to hype up a business with bias reviews.

I have had hypertrophic breasts since I was 12 and never had the financial ability to get a reduction. My cervical spine hasn't had the proper curve since I was 24, there's an inward curve to my shoulders, and I have pain in my daily activities due to the weight and awkward size they have grown to over the years of stress and average life changes. When I finally had insurance who would partially cover a reduction *IF APPROVED* and only *after* a consultation with a plastic surgeon, I was referred to this person. Upon my visit, I was bombarded with the exact opposite of the visuals I needed emotionally and there was ONE bit of photo evidence to view of a reduction he had performed, as opposed to literally everything else you can imagine that makes one "prettier." During my exam, his vocal inflection was quite bored and annoyed. When discussing my weight, I explained my history of poverty trauma, the recent losses of three immediate family, my struggle with PTSD and depression, and that exercising is incredibly difficult with my breasts being so large for my 5'1" body. Immediately after this exact statement, he was taking my measurement around my ribcage under them and said, "Underneath all this, what is your true band size?" to which I had to clarify. "Do you mean under my fat -- what was my band size when I wasn't as fat??" and he said yes. I was hurt and disgusted, but answered anyway, clarifying that my band size on my current bra is irrelevant anyway because it accommodates the width of the cup I need. He didn't respond, was quite blunt during his assessment about what could be done, and when I requested a certain size, he basically said "not possible." This exam was in summer of 2019 and after being rejected by the insurance, I told this office I would not need their services again, nor do I want their future mailings. The insurance company gave no particular reason, but I had suspicions... I wrote it off as my bias making me angry and decided not to leave a review. Until today, when I received a birthday wish randomly from their office via an app called Kareo. Meaning this office retained my information, gave it to a third party without my consent, and ON MY BIRTHDAY, I get to sit here and relive being emotionally harmed by someone who is supposed to "remember that there is art to medicine as well as science, and that warmth, sympathy, and understanding may outweigh the surgeon's knife or the chemist's drug." Very cool. Great experience. Totally worth it 4 years later.

We love Dr. Kesty-- she is the only doctor that I trust with my face! All of the negative reviews are about price. People need to understand that this is NOT a MedSpa. I don't like MedSpas because most often, the person treating you is not a medical doctor. Alternatively, Dr. Kesty is a very highly accredited, highly specialized physician. She offers a luxury service. I would not recommend this place to someone who is just looking for the cheapest price on botox. Dr. Kesty has helped my mother and I achieve beautiful results on our face and body. The Doctors here are extremely knowledgeable and cutting edge in their use of laser, wrinkle relaxer, and filler. We've been to many different dermatologists for aesthetic treatments across the country and in our opinion, Dr. Kesty uses the most innovative techniques out of anyone we've ever worked with. Additionally, every one of their staff have been very professional and lovely. If you're looking for the cheapest price possible on botox, this might not be your place. But if you're looking for a board-certified, knowledgeable physician that you can trust, I only recommend St Pete Skin and Laser.

STAY AWAY! Deceptive booking process, sketchy paperwork, and awful service…read more Do not be fooled by their 4.6-star rating on Google. Check out their Yelp here instead, where real, unfiltered reviews give them a much more accurate 3.2-star rating. This place runs a really deceptive booking process: they force you to pay a $200 deposit over the phone before they ever show you their intake paperwork, terms of service, or the actual details of their non-refundable policy. Two business days before (just one day after I had made appointment) I received a text saying I was unconfirmed and if I didn't confirm by the end of the day I would have extra fees added. I confirmed and then had to ask them to confirm my confirmation so I wouldn't get extra fees. One business day before I was spammed with a text with a link to their photo reviews. THE SKETCHY PAPERWORK: Once they already had my money and I arrived for my appointment, they handed me an iPad and forced me to sign a highly invasive contract. It included a mandatory consent form for a genital exam--even though my appointment was strictly for a medical consultation about a vein on my chest. ZERO MEDICAL CARE & DISCRIMINATION: When I finally got to the exam room, I received absolutely no medical services, evaluations, or advice. The doctor, Dr. Kat Kesty, was incredibly cold and impersonal from the second she walked in, asking "Hi I'm Dr. Kesty what can I do for you today?" but making it completely obvious she couldn't be bothered with me. Instead of actually looking at my vein, she literally mocked me and made discriminatory comments about my colorblindness. The environment was so hostile that the consultation was completely cut short without anything being done. Then as I left my appointment I get another text from them about saving their number to receive digital billing statements. LIED ABOUT A REFUND: When I immediately complained about paying a fee for zero service, Dr. Kesty explicitly told me, "I will give you the $200 back," and told her staff member, Cheyenne, to refund my card and told me I would receive email confirmation. They lied. They completely went back on their word. I called to follow up three separate times. One staff member named Alexandra confirmed they wouldn't keep my money but claimed she didn't have authorization to fix it, while Cheyenne has been actively dodging my phone calls. They don't list an email address anywhere, and they completely ignore my online contact forms. I have already disputed the charge with my credit card company for "Services Not Received." I have also filed formal consumer and medical board complaints at the local, state, and federal levels regarding their predatory billing order, professional misconduct, and disability discrimination. Do yourself a huge favor and go literally ANYWHERE else!

Furthermore, I was never provided with any document or contract to sign stating that I agreed to any cancellation terms, as this policy is only posted on their website without my signed acknowledgment. They have acted in bad faith, and one of their representatives even hung up the phone on me after I asked for her full name, which she refused to provide. Although their own website policy establishes a maximum penalty of $500.00, which would leave a correct refund of $1,331.00 (or $1,500.00 deducting only the initial deposit), the clinic refuses to legally justify this excessive withholding, so I demand the immediate adjustment and return of the remaining funds to the card.
