Our family cannot speak highly enough about Anthem Senior Living! Sam and his amazing team from the start have been welcoming, caring, supportive, compassionate and professional. I'm not sure where to even begin to review Sam Ile. As a daughter, admitting that you need help and can no longer take care of your dad alone, in a way that he deserves to be cared for, is a very hard decision to come to. There are so many questions. So many unknowns. It feels daunting, overwhelming, and honestly a little like you've failed your parent that has spent their entire life caring for you. When I say that Sam cares - I mean that he TRULY, deeply cares. He understands the many dynamics of this phase of life. He understands the emotions as well as the logistics. Sam took us on like we were family. He helped me to find the absolute PERFECT home for my father to live out his days. He listened to all of my thoughts and concerns and provided extremely valuable insight and feedback based off of his over 20 years experience in the field. I cannot speak highly enough of the wonderful care that Sam and all the staff at Anthem Senior Living (ASL) provided to my mother. She was 79 years old and quite sick when she entered ASL. They cared for her as if she were their own mother. They were kind and compassionate. And they were great about keeping us informed about her health. Our family rested easier knowing that our mother was receiving the highest quality of care. My siblings and I are eternally grateful for the help we received with our mom. We highly recommend ASL without reservation. If you have need for senior care for a loved one, you cannot go from with ASL. If I needed assisted living myself, I would hope my family would place me with ASL, as I cannot image there are other places that attend to their residents' needs with the care and attentiveness that ASL showed to my mother. My mom had been resident for 1 yr. Such a caring environment. The owners cannot do enough and the caregivers are so kind to mom. Beautiful home in residential neighborhood. Great personalized care. They look after every detail from hairdresser to dentist to mobile dr and nurse to lab work and xrays. They even offer service to help get residents to specialty dr appts. My Mom lives at ASL and I'm so impressed with the wonderful care. The caregivers treat her with love and she is so happy. Her room is beautiful and the food is delicious!! The medical care is top notch. She always has something to do that is just right for her. She spends time outside and gets fresh air and sunshine. They always have a nice movie or something on tv that she enjoys. If you need a place for your loved one to live there is no need to look further. In looking for a care facility for my husband, my first visits were to large, institutional skilled nursing facilities. I couldn't imagine my husband living in these facilities temporarily let alone for the long-term. Anthem Senior Living (ASL) is wonderfully different from those institutions. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, the outside of the home is well-maintained and beautifully landscaped. Inside the home, the common areas and the rooms for the residents are tastefully decorated and are very clean. Sam (the owner) and all the staff at ASL are caring, compassionate and skilled at providing care for the residents. Because of my husband's extensive care needs, I wasn't sure if ASL would be a good fit for him. After talking to Sam (who was so helpful and knowledgeable) and visiting ASL, I knew that ASL was the perfect place for my husband. I'm so glad that I chose ASL for my husband's care and if another family member ever needs care, ASL will be my first choice for them as well. read more

Never put anyone you love at anthem senior living. They lie to your face. I was told they prepare organic food, they don't. I was told they have night time care givers, they do not. What they have are daytime caregivers who sleep in the facility but are not paid to work at night and thus are not happy to be awakened in the night if needed. So if you dont mind that your loved one is put in a diaper at 7:00 pm and changed out of a wet diaper at 7 am, this is an ok place for you. These are not honorable people. I was asked to leave as my therapies interfered with their caregivers sleep, because pickup was early on the am. I was encouraged to leave and was told my deposit would be refunded. That verbal agreement has never been honored. This is a true reflection pf their ethics pr lack there of. I am trying desperately to recover from a massive stroke and was told that they wanted to be part of the process. That is so far from the truth, I would never believe any word that comes from the owners mouths. Do not put your loved one in this facility, there are way better choices in the valley! Thankfully I have found one. read more
