I lived at this complex for about a year and a half and had a very positive experience overall. I especially loved the spacious three-bedroom, two-bath upstairs unit. The maintenance team was exceptional, always responsive and available whenever needed. While I did have a few disagreements with the leasing office, any concerns were addressed and resolved in a timely manner. I ultimately had to move because my daughter had difficulty navigating the stairs. Otherwise, I would have happily stayed. Throughout my time there, I felt safe and secure, and the property was consistently well maintained. The base rent was $2,620, which did not include additional utility costs such as water, sewer, and garbage, typically ranging from $150 to $180. However, the way these charges were calculated was unclear, and I was unable to get a definitive explanation as to whether the costs were divided by building or across the entire complex. Overall, I would recommend Antelope Ridge as a great place to live. read more

The worst place I have ever lived. There is mold growth in the bathrooms. I've had leaks from upstairs apartments into the bathroom leaving everything soaked. There are roaches and other bugs due to the lack of bug spraying. The front office doesn't do anything. Rent prices are ridiculous and do not correlate to the actual apartment itself. Lived here for quite a long time but i couldn't recommend it to anyone. My lease agreement was neither mailed or emailed to me until the day it was due. In a hurry i signed thinking it will be just like every year but nope rents going up 100$! Trying to reach anyone for answers is ridiculous. A week can go by with no one returning your call. Where is our security deposit???? Today, October 18, 2020, is the last day to receive our refund per California law. We were residents for just about 2 years. The apartment itself was nice; what makes it awful is everything else. 1. Lack of security - enjoy the views of homeless people, drug users, and hookers in the complex. Shady people parking their cars next to yours, throwing trash everywhere, doing drug deals. I have a teenager and was fearful of them leaving our home without us. I also had some drug dealer threaten my husband while they were parked inside the complex doing drugs. We've also had to call the cops multiple times, and those people were arrested for doing drugs/driving drunk. 2. If you have a view of the lovely field/park off Palmerson and think you are getting the best deal, think twice. Hit and runs outside, multiple Semi trucks and their trailers parked and running all hours of the night, people throwing trash everywhere which blows into the complex and never gets picked up unless you complain, and again, shady people parking right in front of your patio. We have had people hop over our patio wall to get into the complex, scaring us to death. 3. Horrible management. This statement does not apply to all of the staff, the good ones know who they are. But if you have a loud neighbor who exceeds the occupancy limit and lets their children stomp and jump all over the floor above you with not a care or concern for their neighbors, and has more pets than allowed, be prepared to suffer and deal with it and be made to feel like you are the problem. After 2 years, we decided it was much too long to suffer and deal with it, and the apartments agreed and let us out of our lease without penalty. 4. If you are owed a deposit, don't expect it to come back to you without a fight. Today is the last day per California law that our deposit was to be returned to us. Not a check in sight, nor a phone call or email even apologizing for the delay and why. We are owed over $2200. We paid our rent ON TIME EVERY MONTH. We reported people trashing the complex and served very much as a neighborhood watch. We never disturbed anyone. Yet, here we are, getting screwed one last time... 5. Bugs? We had cockroaches when we first moved in, but didn't see them inside again afterwards. But if you walk outside, especially at night, be prepared to see them scatter all over in front of you. Especially by the disgusting, overflowing trash that EVERYONE WHO DOESN'T LIVE THERE uses... and all of the tenants were charged extra for the additional trash pickups. MAYBE if they kept the gates shut, and had 24/7 security and attentive grounds people, the situation may be different. I would NOT recommend this place at all. I did a walk through with Blake on 9/2. He was extremely pushy on the day of the walk through and for weeks after the walk through, didn't listen to anything I was asking about. He tired to pressure me into putting in an application right then and there after I had told him multiple times that I'm just looking right now and I'm not ready to move until February. Then he tired to tell me that the apartment would be way more expensive then than now and that I should still fill out an application. I told him I would fill out an applications and take an apartment if he was going to pay the rent for me until February since he was still not listening to me over and over again. This is quite unfortunate since I haven't been living in antelope since 2008 and love the community and is right down the street from my parents house so the move would have been super fast and convenient. read more

Do not rent here, they do nothing about upstairs noise. We have complained and had a meeting nothing was resolved. Instead the upstairs neighbor are stopping on purpose and seems like jumping making the windows shake n rattle. "Trust me I'm not over exaggerating I have proof. Oh and instead of addressing and fixing the issues they put us on month to month we had been here for 5 years. The upstairs just moved in prior to them we never had issues with upstairs neighbor. I feel like we got retaliated for complaining about excessive noise. Even management agreed it was excessive. I have proof video and sound and management even came inside my apartment and agreed with us. They DO NOT CARE because it's before 10pm. I cannot watch Tv, I can't sleep. I have lived in many apartments throughout the course of my life, and thought I'd give a review on my current apartment complex/ residence for anyone considering Antelope Ridge as your next home. It is actually located in a quiet, green and fairly pretty neighborhood right around the corner from the very best high school in the area- and that includes nearby Roseville. My daughter had been attending Center H.S., a good school as well, but Antelope High is just on another level. I would recommend a tour if you have kids! Without getting too long winded, the complex is nice overall with 2 swimming pools & hot tubs, exercise room, and a well decorated lobby where you have the ability to rent from a decent selection of movies free for residents! Excess parking could be better, but you are given one allocated parking space with the ability to pay extra for a tiny, one car garage that looks more like a storage unit than a garage. (If you're wondering, it cannot be used for storage according to the rules.) The biggest bright spot about Antelope Ridge easily is the staff, particularly the night manager, Robert. I can't say enough good things about how many times he has gone out of his way after the daytime office and maintenance staff has gone home for the day. All the other places I've lived, if anything happens to go wrong after hours, you are more or less on your own until morning. Not here! especially when Robert is working. Being rather handy in his own right, he can be very helpful getting things under control at least until morning. That's when the maintenance staff (very friendly & reliable) can handle any requests or problems I've had to relate to the office (but Robert usually has done this already anyway ). Sherri (sp?) and Reuben are also a breath of fresh air and have done an excellent job with any daytime repair work on my particular apartment! My family and I have never dealt with bed bugs before until moving here...First our neighbors had them, then we noticed the problem. we paid $1500 dollars to have the problem erradicated! the pest company used by the antelope ridge failed to get rid of the problem! 3 months later, we notice we are re infested. the apartment complex and pest control company chalk it up to "NEW INFESTATION" and are now going to charge us another $1500. Antelope ridge refuses to use another pest control company, which we requested because Pinnacle failed the first time! why would they not let us choose a company, considering we are paying for it? read more

I've never written a Yelp review before, but here goes. I've lived here with my family for about 7 or 8 years now, and for the first few years, everything was fine. But within the last few years, we are noticing more and more things popping up. (I was ages 14-21 living here, and these are the things I picked up on over the years). Pros: The walls are not paper thin, (they are definitely not soundproof, but they do an okay job at keeping noise out). Most of the people I live around in my small area are very friendly, and it is generally safe to walk around in broad daylight or nighttime. The maintenance staff is also very friendly, and they are usually very respectful of your home and the people inside it. The parking spaces are very wide, meaning it shouldn't be difficult to squeeze in larger vehicles. People almost always pick up after their dogs, so there is never any mess left out while going for a stroll. The heating and air work pretty well, and the units themselves retain the temp you set them at quite nicely. Cons: I am not sure if this man still lives in the complex, but there was a registered s*x offender living on one end of the apartments, and EVERYONE was informed about it, but no further action was taken (meaning the complex did not try and kick this guy out, knowing that parents let their kids play outside during the day). With that one instance aside, the bathrooms will quickly grow mold, or the paint will begin to chip off of the walls and tub, and instead of properly fixing it, they just put some caulk over it, and THAT ALSO ends up falling off a week or two later. And not to mention the ants or roaches that will come crawling around the bathroom and kitchen. My neighbours and I have complained multiple times about the bugs, and the complex claims they spray the area, but the roaches still find their way inside the house. And we live on the SECOND FLOOR, so I can only imagine what my downstairs neighbours are dealing with. I have also noticed many different people rummaging through the trash (which I don't really mind), but they do not pick up after themselves, and leave their mess behind. The parking is sub-par, and people who do not even live here will often take up multiple spaces, leaving the residents with nothing. SPEAKING OF PARKING, I just bought a brand new car earlier this year, and within the first month of me having it, it was broken into. There was a camera right beside where I had my car, and I called the office to talk about it with them and get to the bottom of things, but they never got back to me, and I still do not know who did it, or why the office couldn't help me out. Keep in mind, my car was INSIDE the complex. People who do not even live here will use the pools by hopping the fences, or stealing the key needed to get in. And lastly, they have leaf blower people blowing the leaves right outside your window at dang near 7am every week. Which is fine for those who are already at work, or already up, but for those who have the day off, or are sick and trying to rest, it's really really annoying. I could go on and on about my experience here, but this just about sums it all up. Live here, or don't, I just hope I helped you make your decision. read more

I've been here at Antelope Ridge Apartments for over a year now and there has not been one issue. If there's any maintenance needs to be done in your apartment it is done quickly and professionally. Karen at the office has been very helpful and very easy to work with and very understanding especially during this covid-19 pandemic. I believe communication with the tenant and management is key to having a good experience not just here at Antelope Ridge Apartments but anywhere in life. The garden here is well maintained. I can say I really like this place and so does my wife it is very peaceful and quiet and my neighbors are very nice people here too. We have lived here a little over a year now and are absolutely in love with this complex. The grounds always look pristine and I pretty much always feel safe here. Keep in mind that theft/vandalism happen everywhere. The security patrol does a great job of making sure that things stay quiet and safe and that they prevent everything within their control and minimize the risk of theft/vandalism happening in the complex. The office staff is highly responsive and easy to work with. Every maintenance work order I've placed has been answered within 2 hours. The office staff is always friendly and approachable. Even when I'm simply walking past them they make it a point to address me and ask how I'm doing. The pools are always clean and well maintained, as is the fitness center. We live in a 3 bedroom apartment. We haven't had any major issues, and the unit is so spacious and comfortable. We have vaulted ceilings, nice looking laminate flooring in the kitchen and bathrooms, very large closets and a huge master bedroom. We can fit our Cal King bed, two dressers, a bookshelf, large dog crate, and a reading chair (recliner) in with room to spare. The dining area is large as well. We have an 8 seater pub style table that fits in the dining area with room to spare. The washer and dryer are full size and are in great condition. Simply put, we love it here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to rent in Antelope. In my opinion, this is the best place you could stay in Antelope and definitely the most peaceful. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here and am happy to call Antelope Ridge home. read more

My previous post was from a time when my boyfriend was somewhat new to the complex and I was irritated by the parking situation. At this point, he's been there for over a year and he and I have reached a crossroad; renew his lease and I move in there or he moves in with me and we never look back. We chose never looking back. "Why?" you may ask. Well, let me tell you. Previously mentioned was the parking. The parking alone is reason enough to never want to live here. Let me give you an example (or two or three): My boyfriend's parking spot is ALWAYS taken by someone who shouldn't park there. And most of the time, it's repeat offenders. Out of the 20-something times (that number is conservative) someone has parked in his spot, only ONCE was someone towed. One time, my boyfriend went up to the office, got me a visitors' pass, and saved his spot for me (knowing I was coming over very late and leaving very early the next morning) and when I arrived, HIS spot was taken and management REFUSED to have it towed. I had to go all the way home, in the middle of the night, because there was not ONE parking spot, including his. Oh, and don't bother parking outside the complex, on the street, because your vehicle will be vandalized. As mine has been. I can't tell you how many times we've followed the "rules" and called to request a visitors' pass and, I'd say, 90% of the time, our call isn't answered or returned. I'd also say about 5% of the time, we receive a "don't worry about it; I know what your car looks like." But that ONE time we don't call, in the last week my boyfriend is living there, I walk out to a parking citation glued to my window. Thank you, Antelope Ridge Apartments, for reminding me why I hate you and why I embarrassed myself when I lowered myself to your cheap ass standards with the voicemail I left this morning. I'm pretty sure they have more units than total parking spaces. And half of them are reserved for apartment staff. Speaking of apartment staff, there's another reason we decided it was a no go. The maintenance manager, literally, sits on her ass all day, smoking and talking on her phone. It doesn't matter what time of the day it is, there she is, on her balcony, sitting on her ass. Not only is she sitting on her ass all day, she asserts herself and makes it obvious she's watching YOU. And she does watch you. Like a hawk. Almost as if she's trying to intimidate you. Hey, Antelope Ridge Apartments, that's HARRASSMENT. I can get you in a lot of trouble for that. By the way, it's nice to know where the rent money goes to. Which brings me to my next subject. Rent. Now, I'm a girl who doesn't mind paying a pretty penny for a quality product, but if I don't feel as if I'm getting my money's worth, that's a problem. Rent is WAY overpriced. It's Antelope, not Roseville. Quit acting like you're in a nice area. You're literally across the street from the cheapest grocery store in town. The apartments have little to no storage space, especially in the kitchen. They paint the bathtubs, so when you're taking a bath, you have paint chips floating around in it. We've called them out to fix the freezer 2-3 times and it's still not fixed ...it takes a week to freeze a water bottle. Don't even try to keep ice cream overnight. The blinds were broken when he moved in, but wasn't on the walk through so he's stuck with it. The dryer sucks. One load takes 2-3 cycles to dry. The washer doors to the laundry cubby are scraped up by the dryer that doesn't fit very well. Don't want to sign a 13 month lease? Your rent is $500/mo more than the ridiculousness you pay already. Oh, you want to sign another lease? They'll take a WHOPPING $50 off your first month! Whoa! *eyeroll* If you want West Nile, make sure you request a unit near the back of the complex. They have a storm drain thing right outside my boyfriend's window and the whole area is just INFESTED with mosquitos. I'm assuming they only have the one pool because during the summer, that thing is NASTY. Let's see how many people they can squeeze in there. It's like a clown car. A cloudy, pee and hair filled, band-aid floating, clown car. Peace out, Antelope Ridge. It has not been a pleasure. read more

This is a horrible place to live. They are discriminate. I had my truck broken into 3 times while being parked in our assigned stall. When I told the property managers they didn't care. However when my tags expired the night manager was waiting for me to get home to tell me I couldn't park my car in the street. After that my truck then got stolen. They told us we couldn't have lights or even a flag on our balcony. They never answer their phone but when you go into the office they're all just talking about what to do on the weekend. I hesitate giving it 1 star and the one star is only because they respond quickly to maitenance requests. The grounds appear to be well kept but upon further inspection, you'll notice garbage piled all over the outside of dumpsters, cock roaches everywhere, even in the day time. Bad enough that they are all around the dumpsters, but if your apartment happens to be in the vicinity of the dumpsters, then you will find giant cockroaches in your patio and sometimes in your apartment. Outsiders get in thru the gates at all hours of the day and night to use the pools and hot tub and to go thru the dumpsters looking for recycleables and other things making an even bigger mess, and there is constantly things stolen from the patio areas, and cars broken into and cars stolen. There's a community wall on their website for tenants to write their concerns or post events and it is full of tenants complaints about all if these things I have just mentioned that never get resolved. Also management has the ability to remove comments and does. Management is too busy trying to keep the units rented and that is their main concern, not tenant's dissatisfaction. The night patrol is a joke and everyone comments on the fact that he doesn't patrol and when he does, he is fearful of confrontation, so he's basically useless. We are moving out in 3 weeks and I know 3 other families who will be doing the same. Just this week I saw 4 other units moving out. Antelope Ridge has lots of vacancies right now but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Tenants are really tired of paying high rent for what they think is a luxury apartment only to be extremely dissappointed. read more

These are the best apartments I've lived in so far. I share the master bedroom with my boyfriend in a 3 bedroom unit. we have a vaulted ceiling for the entry way and my roommate has french doors. I have a master bathroom. The maintenance is timely and friendly. You have to go with Alicia as your leasing agent she is so friendly and helpful. I love working out at the gym on site and having a washer dryer in our unit is perfect. read more

When first looking for an apartment to rent I looked at probably 6/7 different places. This complex is great. Michael in particular was the one who helped us he's great super friendly and helpful! Now that were living here I love it more. Parking can be a little bit annoying but hey where is parking not an issue. Maintenance is quick at responding and polite. When applying for an apartment 2 years ago, the staff was very friendly. We usually don't have any issues with parking. I love the sizes of the bedrooms, but the kitchen I very small and could use a pantry, it's hard to find room for groceries. I do think rent is too expensive.There is no storage space and we have gotten notices for having strollers on the patio when there is no other place to put them. I know the apartments are older, but it is ridiculous how thin the floors and walls are. We get complaints by the guy downstairs all the time because my 3 year old plays which includes running sometimes, but that is during the day. I know it isn't the staffs faults he complains but it gets annoying having to defend ourselves all the time because children live here. I guess we just got unlucky with a grumpy neighbor. We don't have parties, play loud music or tv. It sucks living like we have to walk on egg shells. I like that there is a playground, but it is usually taken over by older kids who are rough on the equipment. During the summer it's nice having a pool to cool off, but there were a lot of times when the pool doors were not unlocked. Pools are usually kept clean though. read more

Second worst place I have ever lived coming in behind a Rancho Cordova complex with constant helicopters overhead. I felt bullied and disrespected by the staff and security here. I was just trying to live a normal day to day with my 2 year old and they made it miserable. Each night I came home from work I wondered what threatening note would be left on my door. My favorite was " get all your stuff off your porch or you'll be evicted in 2 days". Just straight up first notice after living there 6 months that they didn't like what was on my porch - not to mention the several disgustingly overcrowded porches of others. I got out of there as soon as I could. Happily living in a better neighborhood in a house for the SAME PRICE. I even called to talk to the district manager who returned my call and was very nice and empathetic however she ended the call with " I'm glad to see my staff is doing what I ask of them" . read more

WTF??? and they appear to be very good apartments and fenced off but that doesn't keep anybody out. people are always hoping the fence and just getting in. then when we were moving in the guy at the time didn't even mention the area we were in was just surrounded with smokers. i called all the time and told them that our apartment smelled like smoke, all they did was come in and change the filter, like what the heck was that gonna do? especially when i turned on our dryer. not to mention the place itself is so small and they are asking outrageous prices for it. no storage what so ever, and they look into your patios to see what you have there too. plus much more but I'm too mad and pissed off to write more stuff. fast forward a year and 2 months we finally hear back from the place we wanted and they have an opening. yay!! we did the 30 day notice cutting off our lease and we moved out literally over the weekend. i used that week to clean the apartment from top to bottom. scrubbed every little thing and made it look better than when we moved in and BAM i get hit with a bill saying we have to pay more, they used out $500 deposit seriously. you guys are the worst EVER!!! never have i ever had such bad service. when i went in to talk to them i told the lady that I'm gonna clean and do everything and how much possibly will be be getting back from our deposit she said "oh there is no way you will get it back" huh???!!! This apartment complex has given me the worst experience I have ever had in my life. The employees have terrible customer service. I lived here for 7 months and four of those months Antelope Ridge claimed that they did not recieve my rent payment and charged late fees. Every time I showed proof of payment, the manager Danielle blamed their error or their "new computer system. " I have moved from these apartments, and am now getting calls from collections because they claim to have not recieved a payment from my move. After trying to get ahold of a manager and speaking to Charlie to give them proof of my payment, they still have not called me back to accept my proof of payment. These are only two of the many many problems I have had to go through with this company. The staff is unwilling to work with the residents. I have gone into the leasing office and seen three other residents asking for the number to their corporate office. This company has been an inconvenience for me and taken a lot of my time with their many "computer" mistakes that lasted 7 months for them to still not have it figured out. read more

I moved to Antelope Ridge Apartments last month. I love it here! The ladies in the office are awesome and so helpful. They always are smiling and pleasant. This complex is super clean. I watch my grandson and we are outside walking to the playground every morning and the maintenance men and women are zooming around getting things done. (but they are nice enough to smile and say hi to a 3 year old). I love the fact that there are strict laws regarding pets. I can walk my dog and not find dog waste all over - love the doggie DNA rules! There is security here at night and that is a huge plus. I live right by the pool and right at 10pm it closes down and the noise is gone. Thank you Security! Yes, I highly recommend this apartment complex. read more

I've been living here for almost 7 months now and I'm loving it. The people are nice and friendly and so helpful. I haven't had any issues since living here. Every now and then I do hear my neighbors, but it's never late at night. With all the parking that is in the street, friends never have an issue parking. Lived here since 8/2014. At first we were hesitant due to several reports of break ins and parking issues. Alysha Williams reassured us that our cars would be safe as they have night security patrol. Well We made it over a year with no break ins, however our car was broken into last night and my property was stolen. Turns out, were not the only ones, there have been several break ins reported as well as a stolen Honda. They have a vacant security patrol position which has yet to be filled for the last two weeks, putting the resident's families at risk. I wish it wasnt so because this really isnt that bad of a place to live, as long as you dont mind your car vandalized and identity/money stolen. I dont wish to say anything bad about Alysha because at the time her reassurance was what made me feel better about renting in this community. She is awesome to work with and goes above and beyond, however there is currently an issue with security, safety and cars being broken into which has been a known problem and it feels these apartments arent doing anything to rectify the problem. They should be hiring out a night security company to patrol the grounds, Dont listen to their promises of your cars being safe, because at this time they arent! read more

My family and I arrived at California last year and we were fortunately able to rent a 2-room apartment at the Antelope Ridge Apartment Complex and it is by far the best place to stay as it is very convenient for my two sons to attend the Antelope High School with a mere 5 minutes' walk along the beautiful apartment landscape and the community park. Our family would like to express our gratitude to the man, whose service and maintenance proved masterful, and overall eased most of our inconveniences. That man is Mr. Ron Ramirez. He is a very friendly person and excellent in his job. The service provided by him is very fast and he also assures us that we can contact him straight away if we encounter any problems. He is also immensely responsible to the safety of the residents here as he frequently does his security rounds. We are very grateful to him. From what we have experienced, this apartment complex is the ideal and the safest place to stay. Keep Up The Good Work. read more

If you rent here and have a pet, don't expect to get your security deposit back when you do move out. Pet scan fee $50; cement treatment fee (under carpet) $113.88; carpet replacement fee $263.61. This didn't include the $105 cleaning fee. And there was no urine smells to the carpet. Just many hairball throw up spots which were cleaned prior to move out. Even the pre-inspection report showed no damages, "shampoo rugs". Although the office was nice to explain everything, the initial collections letter only had an amount on it. No reason, no break down of fees. Lewis Management Corp need better communication when explaining fees. There are plenty of nice, same priced apartments in the area, like Carmichael and Citrus Heights. Do your homework when finding a place to rent. Skip this place. It's not handicapped accessible and they expect the tenant to pay for a handicapped ramp, should they need one. Which means you would be paying to upgrade their property. Not ok. read more

I was debating on moving to these apartments to be closer to my job. A friend of mine and I went to the pool and was asked to pull out a pool pass and was kicked out because it was located in the apartment. The service and staff were outrageously disrespectful and were rude to nearby children, that were not even a bother to the residents, and they just wanted to have some fun. I for one believe that the manager Ashley is a racist women that is completely rude and disrespectful to the black community. The area has nothing but negative energy and sirens every night. Peoples houses were broken into, egged, and vandalized. The prices for these apartments are way more than they deserve because the places are painted over an old foundation. These people have no consideration for the amount of children and teenagers that attend the schools nearby. Most of the teens and children bring friends to come swimming just for fun and to enjoy the hot weather. If your child does not have a pool pass then they will be kicked out immediately and sent home. The staff are also completely strict on how many guest you have per apartment. For example if you bring one extra guest over the limit of guests to the pool then they will still kick you or your child out. Not only do you get kicked out for having more that 2 guests but you also get kicked out even though you are not a disturbance to others around you and the other apartments. I highly do not reccomend these apartments becuase of the non compassion to the residents through the staff. read more
