The staff just seemed annoyed more than anything at my son as he had a hard time adjusting to his new schedule. Just about everyday he cried upon drop off and pick up. Understandably there were growing pains, but even now at his current child care facility he adjusted within 2 weeks. The staff was avoidant when we tried asking questions and when we were able to talk to them (the little conversation we were able to have) they tried to keep it as short as possible with no elaboration. The worst came less than two weeks in. There was an incident that happened which ultimately resulted with my son needing stitches in his face from one of the teachers trying to pick him up from his cot before nap time to change his diaper. The story still is not clear and conveniently there was no video of what happened and no proper incident report was provided even after requested. Hopefully others have a better experience here and everyone can be kept safe in the future.

Every question was answered, and the staff took the time to give us one-on-one attention so that we could ensure this was the right fit for our children's needs. That level of care and intentionality made all the difference for our family. They teach and live by seven core values: compassion, gratitude, honesty, love, perseverance, respect, and responsibility. Our children are encouraged to demonstrate these values daily and receive positive praise in real time as well as our children receiving written recognition that is sent home so we can continue reinforcing those lessons as parents. It truly feels like a partnership. In addition, they work with my kids on educational fundamentals such as the alphabet, numbers, colors, and shapes. My children both have asthma, and the staff has been extremely attentive and responsive to their needs. It brings such a peace of mind knowing they are in caring and capable hands. Any time there has been a minor injury--like a bump or fall--we immediately receive a call, an email, and a face-to-face conversation with staff so we are fully informed. Their communication is outstanding. Now that my daughter is school-aged, they continue to support her with care - during breaks- and we feel incredibly blessed to still be part of this community. Since we don't have much family or close friends nearby, this childcare center has given us a sense of comfort and security that allows us to continue working without worry.

My grand-daughter has been attending Tots of Love for 6 months. In the 6 months she's attended, there has been a change of Directors once and a shuffle and change in staff. With change, comes adjustments and those can sometimes be painful. There was a period when staff was not supportive of change which lead to pain and the center had to close early or not open at all. The new Director is amazing, the new staff is amazing (I loved the old staff too). There has NEVER been any moment that I felt my grand-daughter was not being cared for. They now have an even more amazing curriculum as they did when we first started - There is a lot of love provided to my grand-daughter and it shows. I love the projects and curriculum thus far and yes they may have had their pains, as any company does, but I think the new Director is amazing and has set expectations that are not only favorable to the staff, but most important my grand-daughter and the other babies in the infant center. It's a wonderful feeling knowing she is being cared for and loved the way her Nan and family would care for her at home, while I have to work. Our favorite provider moved to the 2/3yr. old room and is amazing - so if your kiddos are in that age group, I highly recommend that side too. Although we've been through at least four different site directors, I'm greatful to Misses Sue, Indigo and Sarah for being consistent faces that greet my child each day and enjoy her. The reason I've knocked a couple of stars is due to inconsistent site directors and inconsistent and irresponsible business practices from the owner. I'm a private pay parent and although the price is one of the lowest I've seen for daycares, we're charged per day. So as private pay parents, we have to wait for invoices in order to address the monthly payment. We're often invoiced at inconsistent dates either in the middle of the month or sometimes we receive 2 invoices back to back because the owner is late in sending them. Another point, while we can pay via the app, I noticed we're being charged additional charges just for inconvenience fees that are anywhere between $20-$30 more. Since this is the case, I've been paying via check. However, the owner doesn't cash the checks right away so I'm having to budget for over $3k in my account, until she decides to cash them. I've also noticed an error in the procare app which the daycare uses to invoice/ charge parents. The app shows an overcharge of $141 discrepancy from what I actually owe. I've emailed and sent notes to the owner multiple times without an apology or any communication that it will get fixed. I've received no communication directly from the owner. For me personally, her behavior is reckless, irresponsible and unacceptable. It's clear she should hire an administrator to handle the finances. And as far as the site directors go, it's clear that they're not the problem.

When she said this, every single parent stared at me which made things very uncomfortable. She also discussed another child to me (that was not one of my children) that was four years old and said "he would cry if his shoe was not tied" My other issues I have is Kathy calling children too emotional or over emotional mind you all these children are 3 to 4 years old. 3 to 4-year-olds have big giant emotions. Many of these children have never been away from their parents so the response to that is a normal developmental response for that age. I think that's a unfair assessment especially regarding crying at that age as so many children do now let me add. She had never said this about my children but as a parent, I don't like hearing about anyone's children at that age. It took me along time to make this review I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. But now that my children are in a school setting, where the teachers have respect do not say negative comments like that I realized how wrong that was and how many times I let things slide when I was just trying to keep the peace in thinking maybe it was me. All the other teachers here are great . Kathy herself I believe is a good teacher, but I had some very negative times interacting with her. I wish there was a review like this before I signed up for this program so I would have been aware. I did bring this up to hire management and directors more than once through the school year last year. The reason I didn't pull my children out were they were doing very well in school they made friends and the other four teachers were all fantastic.

My son can now write his name pretty clear and i feel confident he will be successful in kindergarten. Really can't find a bad thing to say!
