I am writing this to protect YELP users from going though what my family and I did…read more So I loaded up the kids and wife in the car to head down to Baja for a long weekend. We head down to San Diego like we have over so many years to purchase our Mexican Auto Insurance. We drive to Instant Mexican Insurance in San Ysidro to buy our policy. Just like always we get full coverage on the vehicle and off we go! I love Baja there is so much to do and we were having a blast. That is until our last day when we decided to drive down to Ensenada. We walked around town for 6 hrs. When we decided we had enough we jumped in the car and headed back to our condo. We were sitting at the last stop light out of town when all of the sudden BAM! We were rear ended by a HUGE tour bus! Thankfully everyone was ok and our car was drivable. When we exchange insurance info it turns out we have the same insurance company Qualitas (avoid using them at all costs). We waited an hour and a half for the insurance adjuster and when he arrived he informed us our insurance policy would only cover Mexican labor rates ($5-7 a hr in Mexico & $45-$50 in the states). This was never told to us when we purchased our policy through Instant Mexican Insurance. Nor did they offer a policy that would cover U.S. labor rates which several reputable business like AAA do. I found a policy after this happened from AAA that covers up to $75 dollar labor rates for only $10.00 more than what I paid for the SCAM Instant Mexican Insurance offers along with their partner in crime Qualitas. They gave me two options. Take my car to Mexico on my dime (I live 700 miles round trip from the border)to have it repaired by some shop I cannot research or accept just under $5000 on estimates averaging $8500 and that's not including damage that cannot be seen until the vehicle can be taken apart. After contacting Instant Mexican Insurance our first day home I was verbally harassed buy some rude menopausal woman who reminded me by taking the packet they gave me I accepted the terms buried deep in their packet. Heed my WARNING!!! Use Instant Mexican Insurance & Qualitas at your risk! I can almost guarantee any of the positive posts have never had to file a claim.

There's not enough good things I can say about Jason Raya and his team. We own a construction…read morecompany and wanted to make sure we protected ourselves as well as our clients during projects. Their location is conveniently located off Broadway and there is plenty of parking. When you walk into their offices you are greeted by multiple agents. I made an appointment within the hour and was seen with no wait. Jason asked me the right questions about which vehicles I use, how we staff and how we sub-contract. He broke things down in a way that I, someone who knows little about insurance, could understand them. In the end I was very happy with my plan. The fact that I'm covered by a big company like Allstate is great, but it sure feels like family when you deal with the Raya Team! 10 Stars if I could!

Extremely Unprofessional - Avoid This Place…read more If you are looking for actual customer service or help with car insurance, look somewhere else. This place is wildly unprofessional. Instead of focusing on helping customers, the employees seem far more interested in flirting with each other and showing off than doing their actual jobs. When I asked basic questions, I was met with rude, dismissive, and incomplete answers. The employee who "helped" me looked like he was completely obsessed with his own appearance and could not care less about answering my questions or addressing my issue. The entire vibe of this shop is "just give us your money and leave." There is zero commitment to the customer, zero respect, and zero professionalism. Save yourself the headache and go to an insurance provider that actually cares about doing their job. At the end I just wanted out I don't remember his name but all I know his has an unprofessional Desk with cologne and a crown or something on it. My special circumstance........I needed to start working in the rideshare industry. I checked with the insurance companies that rhyme with shmeico and gallstate, and neither company offered rideshare endorsement in California. I requested a quote and heard from Kai within 24 hours. We started our conversation through email and text which was great because I was running around doing errands when she first reached out. Kai was able to gather my information and provide me with a reasonable policy rate. I had a new policy with State Farm within a week and could start working with Lyft confident that I had the coverage I needed. Kai is friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. If she doesn't know the answer right away, she will research it and get back to you. It's nice to receive this kind of service as a customer. Thanks, Kai!

So here's the deets... it's on a very busy Palm St in Imperial Beach so if you've been you know how bad traffic can be with that being said it's Loud and we can't forget the homeless walking by screaming & yelling. While you're standing outside talking about your personal business along with having your personal documents out while watching your back you can't hear very well with a complete plastic barrier between you and the insurance rep., literally the plastic is from the top to the bottom of the wooden desk( I've seen doors with more gap than this)! Then to top it off the Only Rep in the office couldn't get to my policy Twice(even with the documents in front of her) but hey the 3rd time was a charm when I provided the name and number to the main office that opened my account( I know the office was closed due to a convention they were attending) so I'm thinking she finally called a number to help the Reps. AnyHoot, It All Comes Down To This......Save Your Time and Gas and call the numbers provided on your cards or call your local office but this office visit was pointless and a waste of time for me because the Phone Rep handled EVERYTHING over the phone as I sat in my parked vehicle!! The only thing the office rep did was print my temporary insurance card After the Phone Rep sent it over to her for printing, then she slid it to me and walked away. If I could star rate the Phone Rep who helped me, I'd give him 5 stars but my rating is for the office and if I could I'd give a --1 star!!

Other than this, coming to this location can be challenging due long wait lines. Also, not a big fan of the shopping center that this Postal Annex is located in. However, this location is has been the closest to my home for all my mail and package drop off needs. There's the same three staff that usually work at this location (1 male and 2 female). They're proficient, communicative and knowledgeable. They're good. The store has two entrances. Thank goodness. The place is small and can be congested inside when there are too many customers waiting in line. Sometimes, the line will end up extending itself outside the door way. Still not the best area due to delivery driver(s) utilizing same door space to enter and exit. More congestion. Nonetheless, staff make it work. There's been times I've left due to long lines and I end up going elsewhere.
