Its Packington farm, where the fields are full of the free range pigs, where the incredible sausages come from. The bacon is pretty good too. You eat in a modern cafe on the farm that has the cafe at one end and the farm shop at the other. Be warned the farm shop will take all the money from your wallet - there is some incredible produce to buy. Breakfast was good but small for the price (£7.25). It has to be with sausages that are probably the best I have eaten. Bacon was pretty impressive too. The only things that left this breakfast down, was meager amount served up and the toast. At a farm shop, I expect really good bread and that bread to make really good toast. What we got here was supermarket sliced break. I think they have really let themselves down. Had they got the toast right and slapped another sausage and slice of bacon on it, could have been a contender for one of the Midlands best. One final thing: they don't serve baked beans with the breakfast. Weird?

I was introduced to Black Pudding, an acquired taste for even the English- pigs blood and intestines mashed into a hockey puck. I have nothing to compare it to but a taste of it was good for me. It was crispy, soft like pudding and a bit sweet. I opted for the tuna panini which was terrific. I read it came with chips which I figured were fries but got actual potato chips which was fine I guess. Michael said his All Day Breakfast was spot on except for the sausage which he described as cheap or watery. The other lads said there's were fine and devoured it spite being hung over. Before breakfast I asked to walk past the gates to witness the sprawling fields. I was welcomed with a bit of apprehension and took a few photos as you may see. Apparently no one asks to go back into the farm. I breathed in the cool air and appreciated the beauty of the English horizon. I was met by the owner, Bill Williams, in a tractor who stopped me to have a bit of a chat. He is a funny man when he said the view was "alright" and there wasn't much to see. I learned the farm was 400 acres and how he had a kick travelling the California coast line several years ago. When I return to Chester I will be sure to come back and eat here and say hello.

Insane flavor but not overwhelmingly sweet, moist, perfect. The eggs benedict was killer. The Korean chicken was one of the best chicken dishes I have ever had. And I do believe the fries that came with it were the best fries I have ever had. Perfect crispness but soft. Beautiful cup of coffee. Cons. -Although it wasn't completely full, there was a 30 minute wait (which was totally fine with us). I don't think their kitchen can handle the size of their restaurant. But no biggie. -it's a bit on the pricey side for the amount of food you get. For example, the Korean Fried chicken dish, it was £10 and there were only four small pieces of chicken (plus fries and kimchi). I had the buddha bowl, with added halloumi which was great- especially the broccoli, the beetroot hummus and the chilli jam. Opposite me was the harissa chicken salad which was apparently also rather lovely, and came with lovely flat bread- we were too full for cake, which was the actual reason why I wanted to go- oops! Staff were lovely, place is clean, only issue is it is quite loud, so not a place for private conversations.

Food was really really good. From the homemade fish finger sandwiches, to the pulled pork and caesar salads to the freshly squeezed lemonade....everything was delicious. A bit pricey and service seemed a tad bit slow, but alas, its creative homestyle cooking with a contemporary twist is my kind of theme. Especially for lunch!

For food we had a sharing portion of wings and a black pudding scotch egg. Both were SO good, very fresh and generally amazing. Another one for the to-do list of you haven't already!
