This is a great apartment complex. It's clean, well landscaped, a gated community, and the maintenance staff is very friendly and punctual.

So this is a really mixed review…read more... My husband and I love the location and it's proximity to shopping, restaurants, Blue Ridge Parkway, the French Broad, etc. New management has really turned things around also. I really like the new manager. Really great guy! I also really like the friendly and attentive staff. The grounds are very well maintained, everything has been freshly painted, power washed and the hallways are clean. The apartment itself is nice. The prices are pretty fair also. Now here's the ugly.... don't get a first floor apartment. We can hear EVERYTHING our upstairs neighbor does! When she flushes the toilet or showers, we can hear the water running. I can even tell when she wrings our her hair in the shower! We can hear her walk (very heavy feet), hear when she uses her blender, vacuums, etc. We never complained about it because I doubt there's anything that can be done about the thinnest of the walls. We can even hear our neighbor next to us when she opens her door through our bedroom. Honestly the hinges sound like they need some WD-40. There's also the noise of low flying planes as the airport is just an exit away. Our main vent is pretty loud so when the heat or air turns on, we have to turn up the tv and we sleep with the bedroom door closed to buffer the sounds. We reported it, but nothing was done. Also, the valet trash pick up sometimes happens at 2-3 am and it wakes us up because of how loud the guy can be down the hallway. Plus he drives a loud truck. So really sound is a big problem here. ESPECIALLY if you have upstairs neighbors. I'd recommend a top floor apartment for less noise.

This is a beautiful property. With the right management, it could be amazing. Sadly, our current…read moreproperty manager has spent the last year increasing rent and fees, while decreasing or eliminating property services and amenities. I understand market value. I know rent tends to increase, year to year. When renewing my lease last February, my 1BR apartment's rent increased about $100 per month (to $1,900/month). But in addition to that, they tack on multiple monthly fees. Fees they've arbitrarily increased or doubled, and added an additional fee whether we want/need it or not. As our property manager repeatedly tells us, they're all mandatory. This is an isolated community; meaning we cannot simply walk to anything. So that makes this property's amenities a HUGE factor when choosing a place to live. I've been here 18 months and I've watched our current management reduce these amenities, or simply remove them. Their right to do this is outlined on page 2, section 18 of our lease, as our property manager has pointed out to us, multiple times. The most obvious example is our pool. It's been closed since May 22, 2024. Every couple of weeks, our property manager sends us an email with a new excuse. At their current rate, I don't expect the pool to re-open this summer. Bottom line: If you value a property's residential amenities, think twice before moving here. Our current property manager rules with an iron fist. If any amenity needs repair or cost them too much, she has the choice to: A. Repair it, or B. Close or remove it. 9 times out of 10, she'll choose option B.

Obviously the reasoning for picking a location is based on individual needs and wants -- but the Weirbridge Village Apartments fit our needs - they have exceptionally beautiful interiors and exteriors and the amenities are tremendous. The granite counter tops, open kitchens and HUGE bathrooms are fabulous. Janet Kinney is the leasing agent, and she is fantastic - she was informative, professional, pleasant, and had a cheerful personality and all round a great help in answering our many, many questions. Customer service by itself gets 5 stars!!!!! The complex in itself is very pretty and feels like a Community versus an apartment complex - it is a hard choice for us as we are looking between Weirbridge Village Apartments and another place (purely based or our families needs). It has all the needed amenities - dog park, garage (for additional cost), storage (for additional cost), grill area, pool, and you apparently can get a reduce rate at the Asheville Racquet Club. Additionally apparently there are many Community gatherings - happy hours etc. which is a fun way to meet your neighbors, especially if new in town. The reason for the 4 stars is that the availability of the 3 bedroom apartments (The Redbud) is limited - in fact an 8 month waitlist. This is NOT an issue with the Weirbridge Village Apartments, or a negative, in fact it MUST be a positive since they are such a hot commodity! It is just we are looking for a 3 bedroom. Beautiful place and the welcome center is fabulous - the study looks so inviting, warm and cozy you want to live in there :-). The few people we saw around the Community were friendly.

My experience during my 15-month lease here was an absolute nightmare from beginning to end. I…read moregenuinely do not even know where to start because every time I thought things couldn't get worse, they somehow did. First I was wrongfully given an unauthorized roommate notice by property manager Rod Senate, who chose to believe random residents over me about what was happening inside my own apartment without even listening to my side. From that point on, I felt completely dismissed and ignored no matter how serious the issues became. Then came the rodents. At first I thought I had a leak in my ceiling, but it turned out to be rodent urine leaking through. Maintenance came, set a couple traps, caught two rodents, and then basically acted like the problem was solved while I continued living in disgusting conditions. Nothing meaningful was ever done. I fought tooth and nail trying to get someone to care. Pest control workers themselves told me how unsanitary and unacceptable it was to be living like this. The health department couldn't even fully investigate because they weren't allowed attic access. Imagine being trapped in a situation where everyone acknowledges how bad it is, yet nobody actually helps you. On top of all of that, maintenance worker Tony sexually harassed me throughout the time I lived there. Eventually he was fired because there were other allegations against him too, which only confirmed that I was not imagining any of it. It is honestly disturbing how long this behavior was allowed to continue before action was finally taken. I later learned the rodents had completely destroyed the insulation in my ceiling, meaning I was basically paying to heat and cool the outside. My electric bills were ridiculous, and when I asked for help or compensation, I was told to "call Duke." That was it. No accountability. No concern. Nothing. This place is absolutely horrendous, and honestly so is every property connected to Pegasus. I have never felt so helpless, ignored, taken advantage of, and exhausted in my life. If you are a young woman especially, do not sign here. They allow dangerous situations to continue even after they are reported, and they make you feel like you are the problem for asking for basic safety and livable conditions.

Advertised as luxurious apartments with all these great amenities. It is all a lie. The said amenities are constantly broken or not open. The reality is that it is an UNSAFE and very trashy area to move into. The pool is open two months out of the year, and even then, there is no upkeep and its constantly filled with trash of alcohol cans floating in the pool, the chairs are so ripped you can sit in them, and bathrooms are filled with uncleaned throw up for days. It is supposedly a gated community, what a lie! The gate has been broken for TWO YEARS, which is crazy. My car is constantly broken into and bikes are always being stolen, along with sketchy characters circling around. Also very hostile neighbors, have made me feel severely unsafe. Old creepy men asking me where I live, etc. I would not let kids roam around here freely. Getting mail here is atrocious experience and it has taken weeks of getting sent to talking to different people just to get a package. Supposedly smoke free but the stench of cigarette smoke is always lingering. People don't clean up after their dogs and you will always step in poop as soon as you leave your door. Maintenance is also nonexistent, I had no running water, not able to flush toilets, take showers, etc. They didn't show up for days, literal DAYS. All of this and they will charge you insane prices, save yourself the sanity unlike me and avoid these apartments at all cost!
