She is a great listener, was receptive to what I expressed I wanted, and we worked together to come up with a beautiful plan for balayage (first time I've ever done anything beyond a single color to my hair). She took care of my color and cut in exactly 3 hours, which was 2 hours shorter than the original quoted time. Such a relief!! She guided me in selecting the appropriate hair products to bring my hair back to health. Zondra was kind, knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and a pleasure to have work on my hair. I have vacation/birthday coming up and wanted my hair done. After driving in rush hour traffic from south Tampa to Carrollwood, I was dismissed without getting the service done. When I sat down, we discussed the color and Michelle seemed confused about what I was requesting - I asked if in addition to balayage, there could be some highlights put in at the front/top. I told her if not, we could just do the balayage. She told me she had to consult with another hairdresser, then came back and told me that since it's only been 2 weeks since the keratin treatment, she couldn't do the color. She said it several times - that the color would wash out or be too dark or wouldn't 'take.' because it hasn't been 2 weeks. That's it. After I drove all that way. It was pretty obvious that she didn't want to do the service because it's been just over 3 weeks since the treatment was done - there wouldn't be a problem. PLUS - she knew at the time we booked the appointment together that she had just done a keratin treatment. After being dismissed like that, I will certainly go elsewhere.

Once my hair was washed and blow-dried, it was the awesome dark medium hue I've been fighting to achieve for the past 1.5 years. AND it had nice shine to it. I was at the salon for almost the entire day about eight hours to complete the service, which is not typical. At other salons, balayage services on my hair have taken three to four hours at most. After the service, I was encouraged to return in three months for what was described as a refresh, which was explained to me as removing any brassiness and maintaining the existing balayage. When I returned for that appointment, my hair was instead colored back to my natural dark brown, completely removing the balayage. This was not what had been explained to me, nor what I had agreed to. When I expressed my concerns, the response from the staff was unkind and dismissive, and there was no willingness to take responsibility or offer a meaningful solution. No effort was made to correct the situation or acknowledge how upsetting this experience was. I ultimately had to file a dispute with my bank because the salon was unwilling to work toward a fair resolution, and I will now need to find another salon to perform a color correction. Because of this experience, I do not recommend this salon. Based on what I observed, there is a lack of professionalism and integrity, and my concerns were met with dismissiveness rather than accountability. Anyone considering this salon should think twice.

She was able to arrange an appointment with the amazing Angela with just 45 minutes notice. Angela was a dream to work with. She was easy to converse with and made my experience at the salon memorable and one to return for. We worked together to decide on the necessary color for my roots in order for them to most effectively blend with the rest of the hair. She applied a toner to the remainder of the hair and I was very pleased with the results. My hair, which was originally brown with caramel balayage, had turned brassy and orange. I got a young woman who had some really weird art on her nails, and she seemed to be very concerned about her nails when washing my hair. Not all of my hair was wet, the base of my scull was still dry. She combed it all straight and just cut along the bottom. Then she put a bunch of product in my hair and blow dried it, after that, she brushed it straight and trimmed it up again. I have had many haircuts and have not had layers in my hair and probably 20 years. But they did not start with cutting in layers on my hair. My son said it looked a little uneven in one spot in the back. You can see in the picture that on the right there is a little bit of a longer spot than the rest of it. The Salon reached out to me the same day. I posted this wishing to make it better and apologized. I do appreciate that, but I won't try it again.

When I arrived, I had my two-year-old with me in a stroller. She was calm, quiet, and watching a movie completely unbothering anyone. The salon itself was nearly empty, with only one other client present. Instead of being welcomed, I was immediately met with a very cold and judgmental attitude from the front desk. I was looked up and down, along with my stroller, and told in a very rude and inflexible manner that children were not allowed and that I would either need to leave or reschedule. As a mother, it is not always easy to find time for self-care, and I made the effort to come in for this appointment. The lack of empathy or basic courtesy was honestly shocking. There was zero attempt to accommodate, problem-solve, or even speak kindly. To make matters worse, I was charged $75 (50% of the service) simply for having to leave despite the fact that the situation could have been handled with basic human decency and flexibility. I do want to note that Desi, the hairstylist, did try to be kind while witnessing the way I was being treated, and I appreciate that. I understand this situation was not her fault. However, the overall customer service and experience are a direct reflection of the business she represents. This was the first time I've ever experienced something like this at a salon. I left feeling embarrassed, dismissed, and frankly, discriminated against for being a mother. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this salon especially to other moms. There are plenty of places that treat clients with respect, kindness, and understanding. This was not one of them.
