I always thought it was super high end and expensive for some reason. We decided to just browse one Saturday morning and we ended up having a great experience! There is metered street parking in the front of the store, but there's also a large free parking lot behind the building. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and asked if we had been in before. When we said no, the friendly employee gave us the lay of the land and told us there are three floors to the store and that it's much bigger than it seems from the outside. Totally true! I always thought this store was small, but it's really huge. We started browsing through all the setups and were immediately impressed by the styling of each area and all the different items. They have all kinds of furniture, decorations, and rugs. Prices were clearly marked which I appreciated since it shows they're not trying to hide anything. I was pleasantly surprised that I found quite a few things that would fit into our budget, along with higher-end, more expensive pieces. They also have a clearance section which we looked through. The pieces I saw mostly swayed more modern and a little less traditional, which is more my style anyway. Upstairs we found a coffee table that was a major upgrade from our current table, but still in our budget and actually quite affordable. It has a metal base and a glass/ceramic top that looks and feels like marble. Super sleek and sophisticated! Christine was upstairs and asked if we needed any help. We asked her about the process for purchasing as we wouldn't be able to fit the table into our car. She told us that we could pay for it and come back with a larger vehicle, or we could pay $60 for local delivery. SOLD! I am all about that convenience and for $60 they can pack and carry the pretty heavy table. We paid for our purchase and Christine was super awesome with the whole process. I am so glad we finally stopped in to Stonesthrow and I can't wait to go back! She did say that they also do special orders if you know something you want and they are able to get it in store. Highly recommend looking here instead of Wayfair etc. for a local option. They also provide interior design services!

I've been going to this Walmart For many of years. I…read morerecently was completely traumatized two days before Christmas and will never go back there again. For the last 4 1/2 years, my kids, grandmother sends the money for Christmas and their birthdays from California. I went two days before Christmas to go pick up money that she sent for them. The lady asked me why she is sending the money. I told her that their father has schizophrenia and she kind of steps in and is there for my kids for him. After I told her that she accused me of laundering money and told me to leave immediately. I was completely shocked. And asked if I could talk to a manager because I'm not sure what's going on. The manager was talking to the CSR and then came over to me and didn't even listen to me and yelled at me and told me to get out. I left and cried in my car for a good hour and a half and will never go back there again. I called Corporate and told them what was going on and they apologize and said I could go to another Walmart to pick up the money.(which I did) They also said the store manager would call me to get more details and that person never called me My first job was at that Walmart I can't believe that this happened I can't help but think that this happened because my kids grandmother's name is Zee Thao Seems like customer service may be very discriminating

When we went to return some unused unopened pet supplies without a receipt we were only asking for store credit so we could get milk eggs bread. They told me that they no longer do that when their return policy was on the counter stating that they do so a manager came up named Rose. She was instantly rude, dismissive and condescending saying that returns are at the manager's discretion when it clearly said it's at the system's discretion whether the system accepts the return or not. Not once did we raise our voice we were simply asking her questions about the return policy and why she was telling us something different than what the policy stated was. She asked us to leave and never returned to the store on what grounds did she kick us out of the store she had no right. We went back to get her name and she had the nerve to be standing in a circle with a group of employees laughing about us. Corporate has been called in formal complaint has been filed. I feel discriminated against, harassed and I'm completely appalled. I'm literally shaking I'm so upset I've been shopping there for 15 years my pharmacy is there and now I can't return because I was simply asking questions. Do not shop at Walmart in plainwell discriminatory management, terrible customer service and unfair treatment.

It now has piling much worse than our old couch . We went through their service request procedure and it ended up with Klingman's saying it was the manufacturer's problem and they did not cover piling. Klingman's washed their hands of the problem. We went to Klingman's to purchase a quality couch and told the sales person that we would pay extra to get fabric that would not pile. They recommended the fabric we purchased. This is not right that they are not responsible for anything that you purchase.

We stopped at Klingman's and were pleased to discover that they sell Bradenton and Young leather chairs. We have previously purchased this brand and are very familiar and impressed with the quality. We ended up purchasing 3 leather B&Y chairs from Klingman's and it's been nothing but headaches since. First after spending a significant amount of time selecting the right color of leather, we were told that the leather we selected was not available. We spent more time selecting another color. This time, the color we selected was on back order. Our Klingman's Rep blamed B&Y and said their rep is supposed to make sure the leather samples on the sales floor are current. Our rep called B&Y while we were standing next to her and they assured her they had enough leather in stock for the chair we wanted. We placed the order and were told we'd have our chairs before Christmas. Now deliver is delayed to the end of January with no estimated deliver date provided. It's been one delay and one excuse after another. We were told that one chair would be shipped as soon as it was done and the others would be shipped as soon as the leather came in and they were made. Now ALL chairs are on back order and will be delivered at same time. This is after our rep pressured us to buy NOW because a supposed sale was ending and "I will NOT be able to get these prices for you again." We had a much better experience at Talsma. We actually chose to purchase several pieces of furniture from Talsma after this frustrating experience at Klingman's trying to get a few chairs ordered. We ordered our custom couches and chairs from Talsma a week after we placed our Klingman's chairs and we've already had all of those pieces manufactured and delivered. In addition, Talsma prices were lower. The only reason we purchased from Klingman's is because we wanted the B&Y. We'll be happy when we eventually get our chairs (IF we ever get them) but it was a frustrating process that took too long and has impacted our desire to return to Klingman's again. This is not all necessarily the fault of Klingman's or the sales rep we worked with. But IMO Klingman's needs to make significant changes with this vendor in order to improve the customer experience. Ultimately I don't want to wait 3 months for my chairs that were promised in 6 weeks, so I'll go elsewhere. Two stars only because I hope to eventually get the chairs I wanted.

I purchased beautiful but expensive interior shutters for them to install. And they did in a…read moretimely manner but had to come back to fill some screw holes, caulk some cracks around other screws that were not properly pre-drilled. This was faux wood. What I didn't know was that just a little rain would cause the bottom (unsealed) to soak it up and bubble - I had left the windows open one night and some rain water got on them. There is no caution regarding water in the literature or warranty. So because these were "interior" shutters it was my fault they bubbled up. Flair refused to fix or replace them.

Further, both when I dropped off the lamp and when I picked it up, the lady who worked with me was very kind, personable, prompt and professional. So pleasingly, they fixed my lamp by the next day and the cost was extremely reasonable!! Great service is so rare these days, but these folks knock it out of the park with an excellent and consistent customer experience. The sales clerk appeared reluctant to look up the piece in a catalog and was unwilling to look in more than one reference. Her complete disinterest in pursuing a sale seems to be a company policy; other store employees who were not helping customers were well within hearing did nothing to encourage customer satisfaction. I would discourage anyone from patronizing Hodgson Light, Log and Patio.
