The owner, Corina, is, apparently, there most days, is friendly, and seems very engaged with her shop & customers. She has a fair process to sell your items & explained it all in detail. I brought in 2 dresses that had matching bolero style jackets. Again I stopped in to see how they were priced. Both dresses were on the rack for sale missing the bolero jackets. I questioned the salesperson on duty telling her that these were my consigned items and the jackets were missing. Response was "oh they sometimes get misplaced.". She did locate one of the jackets and promised to look for the other. I returned several weeks later the jacket was still not found. So my experience was horrible. Today I encountered some confusion with staff about Consignment pieces. The items were listed as active, but difficult to find or missing. The store appears a bit disheveled and a musty odor was noted by myself and another shopper. While helping to search for my own Consignment pieces I found a number of empty jewelry packages and mistreated items. Possibly this due to a pending change in ownership. A worker, possibly current owner, approached me with the form of agreement that I did not receive for the items. Her rudeness , sarcasm and dismissiveness threw the enjoyment of being a consigner and customer out the door. Sad when experiences such as this happen. Hoping for them, it was an off day, but I can no longer endorse a recommendation .

I really love small businesses, but those relationships are built on trust and goodwill in a community. I'd gladly pay more at a shop like this (when I could get anything I want for free from my antique dealer pals) simply to support our cute town. Unfortunately the owner has left a trail of bad debt across multiple local towns. Unpaid rent. Unpaid advertising to the Haddam paper... it goes on. Will you get an honest exchange here? Doubtful. You can't get a fair deal from a debt dodger or an owner with a hair trigger temper.
