I stopped at Treasures before the holidays and purchased a beautiful Sansoucci teacup for a friend…read more Unfortunately the cup didn't survive the ferry ride and trip back to Long Island. I called to see if they might be able to send me a replacement, and it is scheduled to arrive Monday! Saving me the trip back to CT. Dana was SO accommodating, literal "service with a smile". I will make Treasures a regular stop on my visits to Connecticut.

Came here with my mother, a very nice but pricy shop…read more The service here was amazing. All the volunteers were super friendly and helpful. Loved to chat and overall made the place feel welcome! The selection was alright, very random yet some cool items could be found. The price was a little steep for what you were buying, so go in expecting prices to be high. May come back and donate some items!

I really love going to vintage shops. It's so interesting to look at items from many decades ago…read more When I heard about Tova's Vintage Shop, I had to go check it out. The store it's self is adorable. If you're looking for a formal dress for prom or a dance, or a themed event, this is the place to go for sure. There are so many beautiful formal dresses here, black tie dresses, big skirt dresses, and even casual cotton dresses. There are dresses for infants and little girls. Everything is in pristine shape and looking beautiful. The prices range, of course depending on if it's designer or not. There's a whole selection of sparkly accessories, most of these items are oversized for my preference. There are lots of home items, I saw ice skates from the 1920s, lots of cool dishes with the Kennedys on them. This store is basically a museum where you can touch everything and purchase what you like for a very decent cost. I don't have a purpose for most of these items, so I didn't get anything. If you like vintage items, you'll love browsing through Tova's. I encourage you to stop by.

NO BEFORE YOU GO. This review is provided as a public service for those wishing to consign items…read moreto this establishment. Consignments are considered only between 10 a.m. and 12 noon which I found out when I arrived at 12:30. Items must be neatly ironed and placed on hangars to be considered. No specific type hangar is identified but you better ask. Only 10 items will be accepted and they must be listed by the consignor on a form provided by the ladies of the shop. I believe blue or black ink is acceptable but check. Several volunteers who operate this establishments are friendly and accommodating, others are on a power trip. Tread cautiously.
