I was in the neighborhood when I stumbled on this cute thrift store, Another Chance. I was warmly welcomed when I walked in and immediately liked the boutique vibe. They had a good selection of women's clothes that were attractively arranged and priced. They have a very nice dressing room area set up in the back of the store which is a welcome feature and not often provided by thrift stores. You can try on anything that catches your fancy, purchase clothing, and consign your gently worn items. Another Chance also sells accessories, housewares and knick knacks. I didn't see any furniture for sale but I think they have it from time to time. Help the planet and save money with thrift. You know, life has sucked to a certain degree for many of us. At the beginning of the pandemic initial lockdown, I rescued, adopted and care for two individuals who were formerly outgoing, amazing, internationally traveling professionals....my dementia-ravaged parents. My mother needed a new wardrobe, first place I thought of? This amazing little shop. How comforting it was to see ms. k was still there. She told me she also struggled with staying in business with being temporarily shut down. "I'm like a weed, you can't mow me down. I shoot right back up." As my mother toddled in with her aide and me, another customer gave up the "waiting for someone forever" chair. Everyone inside the store shopping or otherwise was just as friendly, wearing masks and social distancing. A little quieter than usual, but still welcoming; the atmosphere was the same. Great fashionable, well stocked, and discerning selection she is known for. Clothes are still fairly priced. The selection is still classy and eclectic, "grown" woman clothes I like to say. read more

I'm so mad at this place. They have the nerve to have: * Welcoming & Friendly staff - The owner greeted her regulars and made sure I got the grand tour since this was my first time in the establishment. * Clothes in excellent condition. No holes, no loose threads, no stains, no smells. * Name brands from all levels. Actual name brands, y'all. Old Navy to Anthropologie brands to obscure, high-end stuff that is clearly not on my radar. I had to Google the names. I was like....ok. * Store is clean and organized. Not packed out with racks so packed you can't move the hangers. * Fitting rooms! Yes! You can try it on! * Pricing so enticing. Girl! I was like, oh, this is half off? Oh. Ok. Even the full price stuff was reasonable. I messed around and got two tanks (staple pieces) and 2 dresses (statement pieces). I will be back. On the regular. If you want to sell your clothes, this is the place. Karen consigns gently worn designer clothing, accessories and bric-brac. This boutique style consignment store is where I purchase most my designer jeans ($ 25-50) as she stocks Joe's, Seven, Hudson and Miss me. Rack near register has new merchandise. Rack in the back is sale merchandise and by sale I mean 75% off the already low prices. Every 1st of month she rotates sale colors at 75/50/20%. Nice selection of designer bags and shoes, perfumes and jewelry. The store smells nice, is visually appealing, organized and has a sweet resident mascot in the form of an adorable 5lb rescued maltese named Elvis. Great music too! I Love Yelp, being able to write an honest review! I sent a message to Another Chance, a week and a half ago, inquiring about their intake days. Apparently I didn't even rate with Karen for a return reply! Not even a "No thank you". I didn't even get a chance for her to love my items, or to break my heart. I will NOT be giving Another Chance, another chance. Definitely Eek! Methinks not. Clarification... My message to Another Chance was not by phone, I used the "contact business" messaging on Yelp's Another Chance review webpape. This was the form of contact to which I did not receive a reply. I have been to many consignment stores throughout South Florida. Another Chance is the best! I have been buying and selling at this store for over 9 years. Karen, the owner, is very friendly, honest and fun. There are always a variety of great treasures in the store with very reasonable prices! The owner is not only rude and lacks customer service, but she also likes to rip people off. Biggest mistake bringing my "10 pieces" of high end clothing here. She said nothing but a pair of pants sold for $10. How am I supposed to know that's the only thing that sold?! Her record keeping is a total joke . read more

Seller beware!!! I am very dissapointed with the policies of Another Chance. I have been a customer for a number of years and went in to see if any of my items had sold and if there was money available. I was told that after 6 months you forfeit any proceeds. I lost any money that was owed to me. I realize that it is stated in the contract. As a repeat customer I would think that I would have received a call or email telling me that it was expiring. When I walked in, the owner even knew me by name. It's not a nice way to treat your repeat customers. read more

She is friendly, funny and extremely honest! Her prices are fair and the selection of clothing and household items is unusual and unique.
