This is one of those places that relies on returning customers and word-of-mouth, which is why they're one of those local suppliers that have a real focus on customer service (see my Gibson's Butchers and Direct Furniture reviews). For being a small independent retailer, they seem to be able to keep their prices quite reasonable. I was just in to get a mat, but they have carousels of carpet samples as well as different types of wooden flooring on display, and they have another area for floor and wall tiles. Here at GFS, the guy actually KNOWS about floors, he can work out how much you need to damn near perfect quantity, and will not bullshit you into buying a bunch of crap you don't need. It's rare for me to be complimentary but honestly the sad reflection is that more and more these skills are either lacking or not there at all in retail and when you are met with this great service level it jolts you to how it used to be. It's an outlet so they don't deliver which is a real bummer especially in our case when we decided to tile a kitchen floor - we thought 60 square metres would do but had to return for a few more metres - we ended up having to transport a couple of ton including 16 bags of adhesive and bags of grout. Being an outlet it's meant to be lower price but we didn't find it much lower than other places locally that do deliver but it was the server that brought us back to here. We've been in here about 5 times to get various extra stuff as the tilers needed such stuff as plastic levelling spacers to lay the floor and at £50 for £1 worth of plastic and £16 each for strips of aluminium (and it's not one or two it's 20) you know your being robbed blind. Given that they ain't much cheaper than the competition it's time to offer delivery.

They didn't do a great job initially with our blinds, several of them being too long when they were fitted, but they have no problem fixing it for you if they've measured or cut them incorrectly, and that's in keeping with their friendly customer service.

They offer free delivery around the Armagh area and sell a wide range of stock including beds, wardrobes, sofas, dining tables, carpets and wooden flooring etc. If you want robust, traditional style, high quality furniture, this is place to visit.

(See my review on Northern Property NI, I added the company on here as it conveniently seemed to avoid Yelp somehow). We told them what we went through and they wanted to help us straight away. We went for a viewing of an apartment right round the corner from the place we were meant to move in to with those Northern Property glipes and this place was in immaculate condition! Every fraction of the place was sparkling. There was a brand new mattress on the bed, sofas etc as advertised. It was massive and £25 cheaper for better quality (see my other review on that). We had our own furniture though but because the guy who owned the place was now living abroad he couldn't take the things away so we put them in the spare bedroom and my partner used it as a man cave lol the only thing was we had a few insignificant faults that we contacted them about and a guy came out to have a look and log them but nothing was ever done about them in the year we were there no matter how many times they came out to look at them. The maintenance manager is a lovely guy and the girl Sinead we were dealing with was brilliant, they're all so friendly you could happily talk to them all day! The only reason why we left was we were expecting our first baby and there wasn't the room for the nursery because of the owners furniture but I would recommend this company to everyone!
