Delicious breads! Love that they come from a local place too. Find somewhere that sells or serves Annie's breads if you're in Asheville!

Finding it, we decided to pop in and grab a donut to hep fuel the rest of our mural walk. Unfortunately the selection by 11am had been a bit picked over. There wasn't any wait when we arrived, so we weren't pressed to hurry with our order and could see what our options were. They did have a selection of both yeast style donuts and cake style as well as gluten free. They also offered a few different coffee/espresso/mocha drink options along with milk, oj and hot chocolate. We opted to share a cake style chocolate frosted. The donut was OK, but a bit dry for my liking, and the the chocolate also wasn't overly sweet. But it's all subjective an what wasn't right for me could certainly be great to others. I'd consider trying another favorer/style of donut if in the area again.

Really amazing cake donuts! We tried 4 of them and the…read moreEspresso & Old Fashioned were my favorite. They had a few seasonal options too. Reasonably priced but it would be cool if they ran a buy 3 get 1 deal (or something like that) after 1pm so they don't waste so many donuts. The staff was in a bit of a rush to close the shop despite the fact that I went 45 minutes before closing but were friendly enough. Definitely add it to your list if you are craving high quality donuts in Asheville!

When my friend saw I was in Asheville she mentioned we had to get the shaved ice at Sweets and…read moreSeats. She said it was the best shaved ice she's ever had and way better than any she even had in Hawaii. I was intrigued and suggested to my husband we stop by after dinner one night. This cafe is soooo cute. I'm here on vacation and trying not to work, but if i needed to work for a few hours I would definitely go here. I'd work and eat one dessert after another. The mango shaved ice was even better than expected. It was ginormous and I was full from dinner, but did a pretty good job eating most of it because it was too delicious to stop. My husband got a piece of blueberry cheesecake and i couldn't help, but have a few bites of that as well. I was hoping to make it back a second (or third) time, but sadly don't think we are going to have time. Another reason to come back to Asheville and it may just be my first stop!

This appeared to be a new dessert/bakery place in Asheville...and possibly Taiwanese-owned?…read more Not only beautifully inviting and spacious, with plenty of seatings, the place had awesome A/C (a perfect rest stop on a hot day!) as well. Loved their menu as well. Although their mini cakes and other treats appealed to me as well, I opted to try their Taro Shaved Ice (they had 2 other flavors as well...think Mango and Mocha?). Well, their Taro Shaved Ice was PERFECT!!! The shaved ice was nice and dry, and the toppings (Boba, Lychee jelly, and Strawberries...even whipped cream on top) were generous and delicious! LOVED the place...and I can't wait to return! My husband will absolutely loved their version of Shaved Ice...What a treat to come!
