I had knee pain due to multiple dislocations in the past decade. From the PT side I primarily worked with Dana. She is very dedicated to her patients success and implemented a variety of exercises and therapies which successfully reduced the pain a great deal over 3+ months. I would highly recommend her for anyone with recurring pain due to repetitive injuries. Meghan oversaw the PT side of things from a higher level and frequently checked in to make sure things were on track with suggested modifications to the PT plan. I never felt like anyone at the office was going through the motions and they always seemed just as invested in my success as I was. I primarily visited with Brittany on the medical side for anti-inflammatory injections. She was very thorough in gathering information and my pain levels always decreased after the appointments. Finally, the front desk was always very friendly and greeted you by first name time when you walk through the door. They often personally called with appointment reminders and checked in to make sure everything was going well throughout the process. Today I'm able to be more active in my day to day life then I have been for a long time and am very grateful to the staff at APM! read more

I was a long-term patient of this medical practice and always very satisfied with my service up and to the point where my Military Disability required me to ge a Service Dog to support me. Even though I have a VA prescribed Service Animal from an Internationally accepted accredited supplier, they decided that they would violate my rights under the ADA, publicly humiliate me, and refuse me treatment unless I submit to illegal questions, supply illegal information, and adhere to illegal restrictions on treatments. When I pointed out that they were acting outside of the law, instead of apologizing and moving on, they doubled, even tripled down. If I can not trust them to follow ADA, how can I trust them to follow other laws? If I can not trust them to admit an error, correct it, and move on, how can I trust them with my care? Since my review, I've learned that the claim that was denied by Medicare and caused Brittany to NOT inject more gel in my right knee which I was at the facility to receive at my 06/28/22 appointment, has BEEN PAID!!! This tells me that I did my part when I called Medicare to assist in them getting paid! It was just a matter of them submitting the claim properly or as I suggested submit the gel claims separately from the auto accident claims which will not get paid until my case is settled! The fact remains that their claim has been paid and I still have not gotten my much needed gel shot therapy restarted due to waiting for my new doctor to receive the gel ordered last week! SMH!!! So it looks like I will be starting my "GEL SHOT THERAPY" regimen all over again because a NURSE PRACTITIONER REFUSED MY 2ND SET OF GEL SHOTS BECAUSE THEY SUBMITTED THEIR CLAIM WRONG AND WAS NOT PAID FOR THE LAST GEL SHOT! I started with APM in April 2023. My knees were constantly hurting. I saw Brittany and she recommended the series of injections to add cushion in the joints. They were a success and I can't say enough good about Brittany and John on the medical side. My husband, seeing my results, had them inject his knees as well and he is very happy with the results. While the injections were great, the real "miracle" for me came from my time with the Physical Therapists -Dr Enoh and Ryan. I have had PT before and never saw much improvement, not the case here. Dr Enoh did the eval and set a plan that she and Ryan used for the duration. I am amazed by how good my knees feel. Following a lumbar fusion I needed to build up my lower back, core and hip strength. I chose to take my surgeons PT order to APM. I am nearly done with my treatment and am thrilled with the results - I can walk with ease and my hips don't ache. I can feel how much stronger I am. I will not go back to the large PT offices if I have a choice. APM is a warm and caring environment and they pay attention to YOUR needs. From the minute you walk in Laura and Bree make you feel welcomed. John and Brittany are great at talking through your issue and treatment and make you feel special. Dr Enoh and Ryan are the final and most lasting part of the APM magic team. They actually have conversations with you while treating you...and not JUST about your condition. I started going to Annapolis Pain Management a little over 6 months ago. I had some lower back/neck pain and weird leg numbness. They had me see their NP, we started with some stretches/PT, and adjustments. Most chiropractors just do adjustments but trust me, the PT with the adjustments is a game changer. I've always stretched daily and adding what I've learned here has really changed my pain levels. With the added movements/stretches and bi weekly adjustments I am in little to no pain most days. I am honestly so grateful for the team here because they really focus on things holistically. They are so friendly and work with you to meet you where you are, not pushing you to do something you can't handle. I'm normally extremely active but this excruciating pain hit me one day and I pretty much felt like I was dying--I could not move. I thought some rest would relieve the pain but nothing improved. I finally decided to make the appointment. I've never been to a chiropractor so I really did not know what to expect. However, both Dr. Green and Dr. Steele are warm and welcoming. They take the time to explain their approach. Both doctors interact with other clients with warmth and familiarity. Dr. Green was upbeat and energetic while he attended to several other clients. They have an open area setting that could be a bit off putting for private-type folks. You do see other clients and can be seen by others while you are in "treatment." There's a good vibe throughout -- the clients are smiling and friendly, a variety of musical artists playing overhead, and happy chatter abounds. They do have a private consultation room for closed door private consultations and encourage exchange and confidences. That's also where the X-Rays are done. I consulted with Dr. Green regarding my pain and he took the time to ask questions about the situation, listened and summarized well. He did a visual analysis of my standing and sitting postures and saw that the pain was causing me to favor one side and putting additional strain on my spine. He was excellent about explaining the source of pain, how posture improvement would relieve the pain, examining my desk work area to determine if it could be a contributing factor to my symptoms (It was), and his recommendations for the treatment procedure to relieve existing pain and prevent future pain. I had expected a manual approach for an "adjustment" but he wanted to relieve the pain due to a pinched nerve in my neck first. I was lead to a modernized medieval stretching contraption that he referred to as a decompression machine. It was comfortable and hardly noticeable as it slowly "stretched" the neck area. It was amazingly effective that first treatment. I could immediately feel prior symptoms relieved and felt much better. Follow up visits included increasing my time on the decompression machine and manual adjustments. The combined approach not only relieved my immediate symptoms but made me review all aspects of my daily surroundings to improve them for more comfort, and pay more attention to my posture, reading and how I hold my iPhone to put less pressure on my neck. I'm a raving fan and so happy that my pain was naturally relieved and felt so good in the process. read more

First time appt (been to other chiros before!) and the front desk manager came into a separate side office to tell me the cost with insurance would be $15 out of pocket, and do I mind? Whatever. Then proceeded to tell me she believed in me when scheduling for my follow up appt. So unprofessional. Disaster. The Doctor seems angry too. Apparently the two of these women spend a lot of time together, and that is clear! Don't go here if you don't want to deal with catty unprofessional women who are supposed to be caring for you. Amazing Staff Every staff member I have encountered has been extremely caring and interested in how I am progressing. I hurt my shoulder and back and really didn't even have any idea how I did it. The pain kept moving and radiating down my arm. They put together therapy which involved massage, taping, chiropractic adjustment and physical therapy. They did try to "up-sell" laser therapy, which is not covered by insurance. After reading some studies I saw that it had not been proven effective for muscle damage and did not go down that path. The staff is flexible and will work with you if you feel any part of their therapy is not working for you. Every appointment is on time and I have never waited an extended period for any part of the services. I had physical therapy at two other Annapolis area practices for a different problem a year ago. This experience if far superior to either one I had previously. The only thing I wish I had done differently was insist on seeing the nurse practitioner first. They will not give you any anti-inflammatory shots until you see her. They helped a great deal. It took a couple of weeks before I got in to see her and I could have lessened the pain if I had gone down that road earlier. Overall, I have improved greatly and it is a pleasure to go to therapy. They do insist on X-rays. But it's a shame that chiros don't send their patients out to get an mri. X-rays don't show soft tissue injury like I had, but mri snd ultrasound procedures do snd are safer as far as radiation. They have a great staff in the back but my experience was a bit frustrating here. I had tears snd some muscle atrophy/injury and no one considered that until I decided on an mri (another provider was involved at this point). read more

today was my first appt,got there early,they had about 6 or seven women there just running around doing nothing! i was placed in a small room for consultation. the woman ,i dont remember her name came in and told me that all we were doing today is a consultation!!! wrong! when i first called to make the appointment ,i was told that i would get a consultation and then a lazer procedure done on my knee,then if i mentioned bio freeze you get a tube of it! i was told that i misunderstood the person when i called and today was just an evaluation, like im stupid, i know what i was told,it sounded great ,thats why i made the appt. so i walked out,this is false advertising,they just want to get you in there,plus when i first walked in they asked for my id and insurance card to make a copy,i told her they better not charge me anything,she said the wouldnt ,it was just for the file. i will be calling the manager today and see what results i get!!!! read more

Please note that this review is for office experience only not chiropractic adjustment. Not to waste my time, I called the office to find out if x-ray was required because I didn't want a x-ray. I didn't have any medical issue, just wanted my regular adjustment like I've been getting for several years. Office lady told me that Dr. will decide after consultation so I made an appointment. After filling out all the forms and consulting with the Dr., I was told that it was a mandatory to get a x-ray for ALL patients. I've wasted 45 minutes for nothing. They should have told me this over the phone when I asked instead of thinking that maybe they can change my mind if Dr. talk to me. I try to reduce unnecessary radiation to my body as much as possible so this was very important to me. read more

Do your self a favor and find another chiro / PT group to help improve your pain and discomfort. I have never seen a non-medical group try to find so many ways to bill you for unnecessary charges. Watch your insurance, you will be amazed. They pull you into little closed door meetings constantly so that they can charge you for a consult fee. It's absolutely ridiculous. Constantly messing up appointment dates and billing co-pays. The two male chiro docs are actually quite good, but that nonsense and overcharging is something nobody needs to deal with. The Queen Bee, Dr. Green is the source of all this ridiculousness. Read the other reviews that talk about her. The main focus here is clearly to see how much MONEY they can bill your insurance company and NOT the quality of good care. I have been to several practices for chiro and PT and never, ever have gone through what happens here. I reluctantly stayed a few too many weeks and should have left after my first appointment. I went to Greenlife Chiropractic after injuring my neck while grappling during Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training. The office manager Pam was very unprofessional as well uneducated in handling patient care. Furthermore not every facility can handle every condition some honesty would have been nice. Everyone there is so young and inexperienced they proceeded to tell lies to cover their ass. When I finally got a meeting with Marybeth Green the co-owner she rolled her eyes, had an attitude to include body posture which told me she did not care how her staff talks to patients and she wasn't going to give me any respect and just believe her staff. The worst experience I ever had. If they even heard how Pam talked to me and proceeded to interpret what she wanted and not what I said she would have been fired. It does appear there is a click in the office which should never be shown to a patient. I do have to say the ARNP who stepped in and treated me was totally helpful and knowledgeable and did treat me with respect. read more

I had a complete knee replacement at Anne Arundel Hospital in Annapolis, MD. In October. I then, had to have physical therapy as soon as possible, to regain all my mobility in my knee. My son called around places in Annapolis, MD and found Annapolis Pain Management. My knee surgery was on a Thursday, and they moved things around for me to get in as soon as possible, which was that Monday. I had therapy three times a week. I went from hardly moving and walking with a walker, to walking with the cane, and getting progressively better. Physically therapy was really hard, but I knew I had to push through the pain, to go forward. I have to commend all the personnel. They were so kind and gracious. My therapists, Dr. Meagan and Dana were awesome in working with me. I felt like they cared so much and were really concerned with me getting all range of motion with my knee and being able to excel. read more

If you have given up on living pain free you can now hope again! At 75 I had resigned myself to living with back pain, neck pain or knee pain. A good day was when only one part of me hurt.
