This was by far the most unprofessional awful rental company I have ever used if I could do a negative star I would. The rental we had was extremely misleading by the pictures and descriptions given. The house was dirty, pool dirty, mold in the home. Went calmly to the office to try and get things fixed they didn't care basically told me to deal with it or rent another place and eat the 2k I spent! I emailed every day to talk to some higher up and was ignored. The place was 10 mins from beach unlike the brisk 5 as described. I will never recommend these crooks! I feel sorry for the homeowner because their home is trashed! Shameful and a huge waste of money. Avoid beach isle at all costs!

All of the kitchen cabinets were scratched and peeling

Avoid dealing with this company at all costs. We rented a home called Ocean Sunrise at 2201 Avenue A in Brandenton Beach for $5200 (a week) and there were lots of issues. None of these things appeared in the photos advertising the home and 3 emails to them were completely ignored. I'm in the process of filing a Better Business Bureau complaint. Here's what we found (SEE PHOTOS BELOW): 1) An outdoor gas grill that had not been cleaned in years. There was 1/2" of grease coating the inside of the grill, the drip pan had 2" of sludge, and the patio below it had a puddle of grease. It took me an hour to scrape it off to prevent it from being a fire hazard. 2) The patio brick pavers need to be power washed, there were dirty black areas outside the sliding doors. 3) The pool had dark, dirty areas throughout and needs to be painted. 4) There was a rotted wooden deck just south of the pool with splinters, sagging boards, and a hook that my brother-in-law stubbed his toe on. 5) The pool toy storage box was filthy, full of wet toys with mold. 6) The swim ladder to the bay was unattached and coated with barnacles. It was just laying on the putting green. 7) The kitchen cabinets paint was peeling due to a cheap paint job over the original darker, oak cabinets and lots of abuse by renters. 8) There were no trash bags. 9) The patio furniture was chipped. 10) The outdoor shower has rusted metal pieces strewn about. 11) The microwave and fan did not work. Can openers in the kitchen were inoperable. 12) 4 out of 5 of the pool cues for the pool table were broken. 13) The bathroom shower tiles had mold (downstairs bedroom shower) and the bathtub in this bathroom does not have a non-slip surface and my wife slipped and fell. 14) The fan in the downstairs bedroom was too noisy to use, it needs to be replaced. 15) The master bathroom upstairs has a wobbly toilet. 16) 3 of the 5 beach chairs are broken. This property has been badly ignored and should not be rented and Anna Maria Vacations is a sleazy company that just does not care.

View from the rooftop. Excellent place to watch the sunrise and sunset!

Excellent company. We had zero problems with them. They quickly came when we had a bed and door issue. We stayed at The Blue Horizon and it was fabulous. Clean, right on the beach, great pool area, comfy beds. The only improvement would be that the back home have more kitchen items. Otherwise, great vacation homes!!! Definitely recommend!

Notice the mold vent in the ceiling and the wet spots on the floor and cushions.

Believe every 1 star review you see about this company! Coastal Sunrise-Sunset Cove 3302 Gulf Drive Unit 202, Holmes Beach, FL should not have been rented. We not only lost 3 days of vacation dealing with the following but $5,000 too: 1. Black mold covering almost every air vent in the condo with constant dripping water on the floors, counters and furniture. Lack of regular maintenance and how the black mold covering the air vents made us physically sick. 2. Broken safety lights. The lack of any safety lighting on the back stairs and enclosed hallway at night were inexcusable and dangerous. Without a flashlight it was impossible to see where to walk on the steps or find the door to the unit. 3. Elevator was not working for the first 48 hours even though we had a person navigating the stairs with crutches. 4. Missing (because it was removed), smoke alarm in the main room. 6. Two sets of sliding doors to the back deck that did not lock (easily accessible to get in). 7. Broken shelving in the kitchen that fell on us as well as stained carpets. 8. Peeling paint, scuffed walls, broken and missing window coverings, stained sheets, furnishings from the 80's, tired furniture, chipped plates and moldy fridge. The 72 hours we stayed in the unit were spent dealing with the management company and maintenance issues. Since we notified Anna Maria Vacations of these issues and talked to management that we were leaving on Aug 2nd, they have been unresponsive.

Taken from top deck upon arrival

After booking what was suppose to be a luxury vacation at the Banyan Tree Beach House through Anna Maria Vacations, we were met with such disappointment. The online pictures of this house were gorgeous, inside and out, and we had really looked forward to spending a majority of our time outside by the pool and under the porch by the pool. That, however, could never happen due to the mosquito infestation and the pool issues caused by the Banyan tree. Upon arrival on Friday 9/3 at 4pm, we received a call from AMV stating that they had been at the house that morning and had seen the shape the pool was in and had the pool company come out to treat it. She said unfortunately the pool reacts to the Banyan Tree berries and causes the murkiness but the pool company had taken care of it and it should be clearing up in an hour to a hour and a half. Well needless to say that did NOT happen. We made repeated calls expressing our disappointment until Richard, the pool company owner, came out the next afternoon. He spent over 2 hours on the pool trying to get it in better shape. Despite being told Friday at check in the pool would clear up in an hour to an hour and a half, it would have NEVER cleared up without the extreme measures Richard had to take Saturday. He vacuumed out approximately 15 bags of sludge and debris, added a bunch of enzyme, added chlorine, added muriatic acid, and finally had to change the filter cartridge. It still didn't even clear up enough for us to see that there were steps and a seat around the edge of the pool until late Sunday. Richard told us it should be safe to swim once we could see the drains on the bottom. Our kids were only there with us until Monday morning so they never got to enjoy the pool. We tried to get in the hot tub briefly Sunday evening with extreme mosquito bites despite being covered in repellent and lighting other mosquito repellent things. Finally on Monday, we could see the pool drains. Richard came out again Monday morning and worked on it some more. He was absolutely wonderful to deal with but this house honestly should not be rented without having better debris control over the pool AND a professional mosquito fogging system out there. For the rental price of this home, it should honestly be spotless and problem free. The outside windows and decks were filthy and there was mold inside the shower along the caulk. As I said in the beginning, this house is absolutely gorgeous and has such great potential but we would not ever consider staying here again due to all the issues we faced. Additionally, we would not rent through this company again based on how they handled, or failed to handle, the situation. I have repeatedly tried to get Anna Maria Vacations to make things right since we did not get the vacation we paid for. One response was that they felt they did all they could by having the pool company come back out. Then in another response I was told their general manager was out sick and had not been able to see the pictures and videos I sent showing the pool, our countless bug bites, and the filth of the windows, decks, and shower mold. Since then, additional attempts of contact have been ignored.

One of my favorite television shows used to be Amazing Race…read more In reading about a tour organized by Admiral hosted by one of my favorite restauranteurs, I immediately made reservations for a trip this past summer. I was a bit stressed as our package did not include airfare so I used my miles in taking care of that portion of it. Kudos to Jolene for her help in coordinating our schedule which included flights, train rides, and ground transportation so that our trip became a relative breeze. Now, regarding the package itself, let's just say, "Bucket list!" This was a trip of my dreams. Yes, there were bumps and bruises (literally) along the way, but, if you asked me to do this trip over again, I'd do it in a minute! Our tour leaders were well organized, respectful of our needs as travelers, mindful of our individual situations and preferences, and, most of all, caring about making our tour and experience of a lifetime. From the top notch accommodations, wonderful dining events, and unique cultural experiences, I couldn't ask for more. Our tour leaders, Ryan and Malaka, were gracious hosts and our tour leader was humorous and again mindful of our needs as travelers to a foreign country. Best description of my experience is that I can't wait to book another trip with them!

Replied late, didn't answer questions and was basically worthless. I go to the location the following week and a explain to tiffani that we want a refund for our membership due to the poor service. She says okay let me take your contact information, and I'll have my manager reach out to you. Gave her cell #, email - got not communication. After 5 days I call the office- Tiffani not in. Okay, 2/4/26, my second visit to the office 7 days after initial contact with tiffany. Okay fast forward to 2/13 my wife calls their office on the phone for 30 minutes as matt and tiffany play games - matt said a manager is looking into it after 6 minutes, my wife asked matt who is the manager- 12 minutes on hold sent her to voicemail, then matt said a manager would call back soon. Zero! I get home from work go up to the aaa office. There they are tiffany and Matt. I asked them when will receive our refund. Oh, it was a special deal we don't know if you will. PART TWO On December…read more1, I received my itinerary and was reviewing it and all of the other information. I was VERY surprised to read that I would need to tip about $10-14 USD a day per guide / ranger. It would have been nice for me to be told this at the beginning when I was speaking with Marie. Not a deal breaker, but advance information would be appreciated. I have travelled extensively in the last 30 years, and I must admit, I have never had a more challenging time booking a trip as I have had with GTD. 1. The lack of understanding / clarification 2. Missing out on two excursions that I really wanted to do (Cradle of Humankind - I still don't understand why this was presented as an option and then removed, and then District 6, because she misunderstood) 3. The delays between emails, and no follow up from her end - I was always the one following up to make sure everything was completed 4. Not providing valuable information at the beginning - i.e how to pay for the trip (no VISA option) 5. Not providing valuable information during the booking - i.e extra things that I will be paying for $10-$14 USD a day = $14-$19 CDN for me at 10 days, that's an extra $200 roughly. The above information was provided to GTD prior to my departure (I have updated it with some current info) in November. I was told I would receive a response as soon as possible. I got nothing - absolutely nothing. I even followed up two other occasions. On the third occasion I "threatened" to leave a negative review if I didn't' receive a response by Jan 26. I got an email from Deon Barnard at Corporate. His response? Oh sorry? I've explain to her what she should have done, and that Canadian files are complicated. She should have gone to her supervisor. I don't think she realized how frustrated you were. His response was a slap in the face, and I emailed him back, itemizing in detail the inconsistencies in his email. I have yet to hear anything back from him, and I highly doubt I will. The trip itself was fabulous - South Africa is a gorgeous country - the big 5 are enthralling and the people are wonderful. But do yourself a favour and book with a different travel agency. Save yourself the heartache of missing out of things you wanted to see because of lack of communication, mis reading emails and flat out ignoring you.

I loved going to South Africa and Go Touch Down did not disappoint us. We stayed at the Humala River Lodge. Our guide took us on early morning and evening safari. We saw a herd of elephants, zebras, giraffes, kudu, wildebeest, hippos. Took our first hot air balloon ride, buffet breakfast included. No worries there, our driver picked us up at the airport. Took us to each destination. They do small groups 6 people max. We flew to Cape Town, stayed at Belle Marco. What a fabulous view of Table Mtn., right on the waters edge. Went to the vineyards, saw fields of canola, baboons, lovely drive. Went to the waterfront out to see seal island. Had dinner at the seafood restaurant. Ate too much, you pick what you want at the restaurants. Everything was wonderful, it was the definitely the "Trip of a Lifetime ". I could go on forever about it. Now they've changed the itinerary this year to include Krueger and Humala. You will love Go Touch Down .

First of all, the hosts were amazing. Fun, excited and friendly. None of my review is about them. I wrote a lengthy email to the corporate office. Not pleased with response. The cost of the trip was absolutely overpriced! 4 nights and transportation and tours are not worth almost 4k. Not including airfare. Logistics: great to meet at a hotel near the airport. The van squeezed in 14 older women. The van did not accommodate well. There was no step so people were literally shoving us up by the bootie. Accommodations. The "plantation" was being renovated which they knew about. No upgrades to our rooms, no real "beach" and no amenities. The hotel was a joke and we could have gotten rooms for $160 a night on our own. Food. In general the food was good. Breakfast was worse than convention food. Dinners were hit and miss. A few great ones, others were shared appetizers and fried food. Greek lunch was great! Activities. No shuffleboard, no congregating area or bar at the hotel. Sponge boat ride was freezing cold and fairly uneventful. No real diver as described. It's really too bad because I wanted to like the premise of the trips and company. I do not travel to meet people but if that happens, great. I am not alone in this review. Most of the ladies mentioned that this was not up to BBs standards. Also very disappointed in their reaction and follow-up. Basically nothing. Save your money and do a girls trip on your own.
