His store does not have a lot, but a little of everything, including wine, beer, water, milk, cookies, laundry products and a nice deli with a choice of Italian cold cuts (salame, prosciutto, mortadella, provolone, mozzarella, etc.). His prices are very fair considering the size of the place and he is extremely honest. I found out that he lives in the palazzo across the street where I am staying, so he serves the neighborhood, seeming to know everybody that passes, even yelling, a Neapolitan tradition, across the street to a neighbor who was about to receive a delivery from his store. If staying in the area or in need of some groceries, water, a sandwich, or a snack, walk up the hill from Via Toledo (near Toledo station) and say "ciao" to Ciro. Instead, they have shifted to providing cooking classes while also maintaining an excellent well stocked deli. We were able to scoop up drinks, cheese, crackers and meats for a takeaway charcuterie board. Had a nice conversation with the friendly owner too- really an excellent family run and fully stocked store. Would gladly stop by again the next time we are in Posi.

I lived in southern italy for 2 years (many years ago) as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I've had my share of panini. While on vacation I came here on Sunday feeling a panino but unfortunately it was closed (respect!). On Monday, I returned and was ready to order a simple prosciutto and bufala mozzarella panino. As the shopkeep was preparing it, I inquired about this small tub of what seemed to be ricotta in his deli. He told me it was a special type of bufala cheese called "carciufula" (I didn't write it down but I wish I did, because I can't find anything online about it). He said he only received shipment of it once a week and Monday was the only day he sold it. I chose the "carciufula" instead and he didn't charge me any extra. Maybe 6-7 Euros for a panino with prosciutto crudo, "carciufula," and tomatoes. This was the best sandwich I ever ate, or at least certainly the Best Monday-only Sandwich I ever had!!!! I wish I found the place sooner than my last day in the area and I wish I would have remembered the name of the cheese better, because I'm sure it's dialect and I'm totally butchering it :). TL;DR - If you're around on Monday, don't make the bonehead mistake of missing this place!
