I stepped inside and Fantasia's felt a little bit more like your standard sex shop and less of an upscale "adult boutique." However, I was still pretty impressed. They have so much stuff! They have, for example, an entire case dedicated to lubricants. They also have another case dedicated to vibrators with remote controls. Teehee! There are other cases absolutely full of other toys for men and women. My favorite cases were the ones that contained the glass toys and the extremely expensive toys. Both out of my reach in so many ways... maybe one day. The selection of lingerie sets and magazines is also impressive, though I didn't see many movies so if that's your need look elsewhere. If leather, fetish, or PVC is your thing, this place should definitely be your first stop. They have so much bondage and leather gear it's incredible. They've also a nice selection of whips, which I find is a nice present for a bride-to-be (not kidding).

The shop has a huge selection of everything one could imagine from pvc/sexy outfits, any kind of dildo/vibrator, even the Rabbit as made famous on sex and the city, and other kinds of fetish gear. After trying to stealthy sneak into the shop so as not to attract the attention of anyone you know who might be walking by, it's always fun to check out what other kind of people frequent a shop as such. in Miss Fantasia I was amazed to find people young and old, hip and not so hip, gay and straight, which I think speaks volumes on just the wide range of products they have to offer. The staff within the shop is extremely helpful, and one time my flatmate and I were entertained for a half hour by a shop keeper explaining the pros/cons of all the vibrators on the display rack. He seemed to know from personal experience, which I don't know is a good thing or a bad thing haha. They also are so kind as to check and make sure that the vibrator you're purchasing is operating properly, now I'm not saying this has happened to me, but let's say a friend was purchasing a vibrator there and when they put the batteries in they realised that there was a bit of a shall we say kink. The shop keeper then very kindly held up said vibrator and shouted to the back of the shop asking for a working one to be brought to the front. Case and point a very helpful staff!

We visited this department store a few days over the course of our trip. I wasn't sure at first what I was planning to buy but I kept eyeing one of the Louis Vuitton perfumes that I had previously discovered on a trip to Maui. Their perfumes are definitely on the pricey side but the nice thing is they're small enough for carry on liquid limits, they have a magnetic lid, and they're refillable - and the refills are also cheaper than the initial bottle purchase. The amount of times I sprayed that perfume on myself over my Maui and Dublin trips, I was sold - so that was my first add to cart moment. Next, was a belt. I thought I wanted a Gucci Marmot belt but my cousin convinced me to check out the Celine department - instead I went with a Triomphe belt. It's such a classic and timeless design so it was the right choice. And finally - the ultimate big purchase was in the Chanel department. For a long time I have been eyeing the goatskin grosgrain cap toe slingback heels. I have tried them on in NYC before but hadn't gone through with a purchase - until this trip; it was finally time! Also to add, every single sales person that we interacted with was incredibly nice. Elsewhere, designer stores don't always have the best customer service; however, I felt nothing but kindness when I was mulling over my big purchases - which to me were really big. And they were kind enough to combine them into one receipt so I could get the best VAT refund as well so extra thanks to each of the sales persons who helped me. The VAT refund process was super easy too - I just dropped off the completed form with receipt information at the airport and after a few weeks received the credit on my cad.
