For years I had struggled to find a proper fitting bra in the states, so I decided to make an appointment while I was visiting Dublin. Best decision ever! The staff were quickly and accurately able to find my perfect size, and I was able to try on a couple of different option. While they do have plenty of fancy bits, they also sell more everyday undergarments as well. I feel like the price of the bras matched the quality, and I know my friend's have already lasted her 2 years. I also appreciated how private my fitting felt. I went here for a two reasons, I had wanted a whole new set of bras and I wanted to support an Irish brand! Tbh the whole event took 7 mins and was pretty disappointing. The staff were uninviting and just left me standing in the changing room... so I just awkwardly left.. so sadly I left with no bras and not feeling good about myself! Oh, if only I had known. Just last October I played bridesmaid in a floor-length purple number that required an unholy construct of underbits I ended up paying almost of much for as the dress. The problem was, I didn't know about Peaches & Cream. If I had, I wouldn't have settled for whatever I could find in the department stores -instead I could have shopped in a (tiny) boutique that specialises in bridal under garments to make those dresses a little easier to bear... I really did want to like Peaches and Cream. The staff are lovely and even though the shop is tiny it still has a nice feel. However I did go there to get a particular bra and that wasn't so successful. Part of this is my fault. I only left about three weeks to get it. I went in, was measured and they ordered something for me. there ended up being a mix up with the supplier and it took a little longer to come in. In fairness the shop did keep me posted. So I went in to collect my bra and it didn't quite fit. The lady in the shop did not at all force it on me, but I found myself with literally no time to get a replacement (again partially my own fault). But if I was looking for an ill-fitting strapless bra that turns into a boa constrictor as the day goes on, I would have just worn one of the many I have already. I thought going to P&C that I would get one that was right. But it seems that I've now bought an expensive piece of underwear which doesn't fit, will torture me to the day I have to wear it and then I'll never wear it again! So the Peaches and Cream experience was more bitter than sweet for me! read more

Here to find a bit of support, the uplifting kind for my wedding day. The very nice lady here was extremely helpful and was good at giving genuine feedback on what I needed and what I tried on. I left very happy indeed with my purchases. One downside to my visit was she was a bit pushy with trying to sell me a dressing gown for the big day, before the dress goes on. I went to peaches and cream full of hope and expectations. Sadly they weren't met. I was searching for lingerie for my wedding day, and I have quite a larger bust (34J) I was already sure it was going to be a struggle to find good fitting bras, but was hopeful that a specialists such as Peaches and Cream would be willing and able to help me find something to work for me and keep me comfortable. The woman who was dealing with me was welcoming enough, but I also felt like I was annoying her too by calling into the shop as it seemed busy - there were 3 other women in there at the time and the shop is fairly small. The woman measured me over my bra, saw the size of cup I would need, and went to find a bra in the size measured. I require a strapless bra for my dress. She came back with a 34 F bra. 3-4 cup sizes smaller than the bra I had worn into the store. To say this bra didn't fit is a vast understatement. The woman helping me I think (hope) she could see this, but tried to be positive about it, even in the face of the bra cutting across my breast tissue creating a double boob appearance, and the gore was pinching breast tissue underneath it. The woman tried me with 3 more bras, the largest being a 36F. None fit well at all, nor did they sit correctly on me, but none of this was addressed or any alternative brands/shapes even mentioned. I left with the suggestion of a bra in 36FF as the size to wear on my big day and that they regularly stock it, just not on that day. I had read their website and seen tv slots they had done where they had helped women find proper fitting bras, so I had expected someone who knew better than this. I really wanted to fall in love with this store, have a wonderful experience and a new place to buy my bras from. I had exactly the opposite, and now I am in no hurry to go back. read more

The thought of looking for wedding underwear terrified me. Getting measured and jiggled by strange women never appeals, and having to make a chioce between various lacy contraptions just isn't me. Peaches and Cream made this process SO easy. I was in and out within 15 mins, with a perfectly fitting *and* sexy bra and pants - not a simple task for a girl with my assets.... This is a tiny little shop easily accessable off grafton st. its old wordly in its smallness and decor, but thats what makes it precious, here you get a world of experience and genuine care. i had been wearing the wrong size bra, to the point where i was contradicting the lady fitting me when she suggested a different cup and bra size. however, she was so professional that i decided to put my trust in her. She ordered the bra in my size and posted it out to me without fail. The difference this bra made in photos of my dress, it was the makings of it and at last my boobs were back in the right place giving me better posture and confidence. while this was an undergarment, it turned out to be as important as the dress. Don't waste your time. I originally saw peaches and cream and Xpose and thought arranging an appointment would be helpful in selecting bridal lingerie. I was honestly excited for the appointment and was thoroughly let down by the poor service and poor selection. They only stock Spanx and 3 types of strapless bras, all of which are a terrible shape with a ridiculous price tag. The sales attendant couldn't have been more rude and succeeded in making me feel the most uncomfortable I've ever felt in my life. She started by measuring me, then handed me bras that obviously didn't fit, they were all too big. In addition she kept leaving the curtain open to the dressing room whilst I was in my underwear. I also was looking for more than just bridal lingerie and asked to see a white bra, she handed me the ugliest bra I've ever seen, that was the total wrong size. I asked to see another one, now I don't know how this was possible, she handed me one even uglier than before and even worse fitting. Its a lingerie store, they're supposed to have nice things... To clarify I'm not picky, I was intent on buying Spanx and a strapless bra, they tried to sell me the large Spanx, because that's all they had in stock, when I pressed them for my size, the medium, they reluctantly offered to order it in. And don't get me started on the ill fitting inferior quality and shapeless strapless bra. The attendant offered that it was 'perfect' for me. In short, don't waste your time. Brown Thomas offer an excellent service and selection at the exact same price. I know others have had a positive experience here, I find it hard to believe. I think charging expensive prices does not credit a premium service. I would hope this review stops anyone else wasting their precious pre wedding time and that the staff there become more considerate towards their customers. read more
