For any of you who are going through infertility (or general fertility concerns), failed…read moretreatments, and/or recurrent miscarriages, please consider going here. I had the most caring, competent, and organized staff. If you are experiencing fertility concerns, you probably know about the delay in test results, communication from the nurse or doctor, appointments being months apart, etc. This is NOT the case here. First of all, the blood draw clinic is next to the reproductive building. You will be set up with a health portal that will contain your results as soon as they are processed. You will also get an email notification when new results or message are added. The communication from the staff is five stars. For example, I had extreme anxiety about a procedure and messaged a nurse. The nurse responded with a very compassionate and useful message by end of business day, and addressed all my concerns. Also, my medications were added to my portal and sent to my preferred pharmacy, so I knew exactly when I could pick them up. Additionally, if I had any weird symptoms, questions, or general anxieties, those were addressed promptly as well. For another example, I came down with the flu (fever/ stomach problems, etc.) and later that day also found out I was pregnant. This all happened to be on a Saturday; I was able to actually speak with a nurse that same afternoon, and she provided me instructions and advice, and the steps I needed to take moving forward. Finally, Briarwood Center is SUPER thorough. They re-ran all of my tests, as well as my husbands, before proceeding with any treatment. They actually found differences and had discrepancies with the previously ran tests. They also preformed an endometrial biopsy which showed a treatable condition that I had never been made aware of. They provided a customized course of treatment that had not been tried before. I feel that if it weren't for their treatment, I would have never gotten this far in pregnancy. After three years of miscarriages and infertility problems, my husband and I were able to conceive naturally (and without fertility meds) within 4 months of seeing the amazing doctors and staff here at U of M. Although I cannot guarantee anyone's success simply by going here, I can guarantee you will get care like no other fertility center. U of M is not out to take your money or have you invest in procedures that you don't need, or will likely fail. They set the bar for patient care.

The Nurses responses to the email were spontaneous and they did not consult with the Dr. First…read morebefore they respond back to be. Very poor and unprofessional work ethics.

Dr. Elizabeth Shadigian and the staff at WomanSafeHealth are wonderful, caring, attentive,…read moreresponsive, skilled, knowledgeable and friendly--everything you could want in a physician and their staff. Dr. Shadigian is one of the best physicians and women I have ever known and I would highly recommend her and WomanSafeHealth to anyone. Seriously, 5 stars is not high enough a rating. I've been a patient of Dr. Shadigian's for several years now. I was introduced to Dr. Shadigian by my partner several years ago. My partner did extensive research into doctors in area when she was searching for a primary care doctor/GYN and finally decided to visit Dr. Shadigian for an annual physical/GYN exam. She had a great experience, and recommended that I see her. I am so glad I did. Dr. Shadigian has greatly increased my health and quality of life the last several years. It should say it all that I drive half-way across the country (NY - MI) at least once each year to have Dr. Shadigian conduct my annual physical/GYN exam, she's that great. We also stay in touch with phone appointments and tests to adjust medications in between, as necessary. Dr. Shadigian is committed to ensuring her patients are not only healthy, but happy. She really cares about patient comfort and overall wellness. To cite only one recent example out of many, I called her office on a holiday with a minor/irritating health issue, and asked if she could please consult with me and call in a prescription if necessary to alleviate my discomfort. She was super busy that day but made time to call me back that evening (9 p.m. on a holiday--how many doctors will do that for you?), discuss the issue, and call in the prescription for me before the pharmacy closed. The WomanSafeHealth facility itself is also wonderful, comfortable, clean, safe and inviting. It's designed to create an atmosphere conducive to healing and reduce stress, decorated with beautiful light wood, calming decor (e.g. zen rock garden), free WiFi, and a fridge that is always stocked with healthy and delicious foods. It's like no other physician's office I've been to, more like a nice day spa than a traditional "doctor's office." In sum, I highly recommend Dr. Shadigian and WomanSafeHealth. 5 stars for sure.

Dr. Shadigian is a highly competent physician, but more importantly, exceedingly talented at comforting patients and making sure the entire appointment allows for individual patient autonomy. If it is any indication of my dedication to the practice--I moved to the east coast from Ann Arbor and am still returning for annual exams. Cannot recommend enough!

As we all know it is not easy to find a good doctor who is competent and informed about current healthcare trends. Dr. Jeffries checks all of these boxes and then some. She has excellent bedside manners, carefully listens to her patients and is kind, methodical and gives consultative style recommendations that are caring and empathetic. She makes you feel warm and cared for and not like a number. The IHA office is a newer building with updated furnishings that are modern and calming. The exam rooms are super clean and designed with good quality furniture and clothing for patients which I appreciate. Other doctor's offices provide those cheap paper gowns for their patients but not this this office, they provide nice cotton gowns that make you feel HUMAN. The only con I have about IHA are the front desk employees and one of the physician assistants (PA) who escorted me to see the doctor. This individual had the personality of a rock. She was not friendly and unprofessional. I was completing my paperwork in the exam room and left briefly to use the restroom before meeting with the doctor. While I was gone the PA took my incomplete paperwork without telling me. I returned to the room in disbelief that I could not find my paperwork. When the PA later stopped by, I asked her if she took my paperwork and she rudely said yes. I explained to her that I was not finished and that she should of let me know that she took it. Similar to doctors bedside manners, PAs need the same standard when dealing with patients. Despite those two cons, overall I am thrilled with my new doctor and look forward to her care during my future visits.

If you have had a really terrible experience with another OB/GYN specialist I do recommend visiting with one of them. The reason I'm giving 2 stars is due to issues with other staff. After being a patient here for a few years I have had an abnormal amount of administrative issues such as: - Being overcharged for visits - Appointments canceled on short notice several times - Being scheduled with doctors that are out of network - Someone forgot to check me in until I asked about the wait time 15-20 minutes later - Appointment billed incorrectly to insurance because of miscommunication during scheduling When something needs to be fixed (like the overpayment) it's not easy to get in touch with someone who can help. I have been told that they'll call back with updates, but generally, I am the one who has to follow up. I can't say if that's typical for all of their patients but this is the only office I have ever had these types of issues with. It makes me dread coming in because I'm bracing for some kind of error that I'm going to have to battle to fix. All of that said, the staff has been kind while these issues were resolved. It's just a huge hurdle to have to jump through in the first place. If you visit make sure you know what your insurance covers, triple-check that the doctors are in-network (the staff isn't reliably knowledgable about this), and be as clear as possible about what you want to schedule. If you do all of that, you hopefully can avoid the experiences I have had.

The office had called just as I was leaving work to drive to the office, letting me know I could come in early if possible. I explained that I would actually only be able to leave at the scheduled time (as I was coming from work across town) and with the weather maybe I should consider rescheduling? I let the front desk know I would likely be running quite late. Response? "No problem! Dr Burke will be here anyway." I checked google hours, yup...open till 6! (Appt at 5:10pm). I booked across town as fast as possible given traffic moved at a snail's pace. Just as I'm pulling into the driveway at 5:24pm the phone rings and I'm informed "The Dr just left. Would you like to reachedule?" I was so shocked I couldnt even say anything. It was suggested I call back the next day to reachedule as I was honestly speechless. I did not call to reachedule because frankly I had a hard time imagining seeing Dr Burke again without some sort of conversation?? A colleague of mine, (who I had referred because of the "great" service!), went at her scheduled appt a few days later and explained why i hadnt come back. Reportedly they were very upset and wanted to make things right. This was surely just a misunderstanding, right? My phone has stayed silent. This incident was 2 weeks ago. Honestly I'm a little shocked as the office has been great thus far and I'm surprised at the lack of follow up. Granted that yes, 'technically' I was pulling in at the last second but given the circumstances and that I'd warned them I was running late AND suggested a reschedule AND was told no, go ahead and come anyway even if you're late? That's an issue. I really wish this could be made right and if it is I will absolutely update this review no problem. Otherwise i will walk away incredibly dissapointed to stand in line and start over at a new chiropractor because frankly, living with back pain isnt fun and I wouldnt have driven across town at 10mph if I didnt really need the appointment.

We got terrible vibes from Dr. Krauss on our very first visit. My husband only received one chemo treatment at the Rogel Cancer Center at UofM. Then Dr. Krauss put my husband into hospice. My husband was so happy to come to U of M Cancer center until Dr. Krauss gave him No Hope. We had been told by Dr. Krauss that he had a couple of other treatments that he could try before giving up on my husband. I was very disappointed with Rogel Cancer Center and Dr. Krauss and would never recommend anyone to this cancer center since they don't want to help anyone and just give up easily on their own patients. The staff was not very friendly and we were made to feel like outsiders. This was the worst experience I have ever had. We should have stayed in Texas where the Oncologists were great and very caring with every patient. After talking with several Michiganders, I was made aware that this was one of the worst hospitals and cancer center in the US. Please do not bring your family here to Michigan, they will only let them come and die before helping them. Thanks Dr. Krauss for the worst care that was given to us. Debbie Beach from Austin Texas.
