Absolutely amazing service from lovely Frederica & Marco. From start to finish, everything was…read moreperfect. It was one of the best hotel/b&b experiences that I've had. I'd book this place again in a heartbeat and would want family members & friends to stay here.
We stayed here 2 nights for 238 euros, not including the 2 euro city tax per night and per person. Wifi access of 24 hours costs 3 euros, and it was fast, worked without any hiccups. So in total, it was 249 euros.
+ room was beautiful, clean, comfortable with amenities like packets of tea, coffee, etc
+ bathroom was excellent, didn't smell (an issue I had with the previous 3 places I've stayed at in Italy). Thick towels, great facilities.
+ they reserved our museum tickets for us, which was a blessing because when we got to the Uffizi and later the Galleria dell'Accademia (Michelangelo's David), the lines were blocks long
+ breakfast was a large, varied spread complete with delicious pastries, cereals, cakes, juices, lots of fruit, etc. They also bring you your preferred beverage, like cappuccinos
+ provided a map and offered detailed suggestions/tips
+ fluent in English and very friendly & helpful
+ the day that we had checked-in, we were exhausted & slept til noon, making us late for our museum reservation. Marco had supplied us with breakfast and was so kind in offering his help with the situation. Luckily, our reservations were still valid :D
I wish that we could have stayed in Florence longer. I enjoyed it so much with all the museums and beautiful buildings everywhere, plus there had been a gelato festival going on haha. If we hadn't been at B&B Marzocco, our stay would not have been as highly enjoyed.
