I have been a patient for over 5 years. In that period, I have been treated not as a patient , but as valued friend. Dr. Rauchwerger, is kind and has a gentle demeanor. Explaining the process as he goes. Taking time to explain and making me comfortable in every way. Being a resident of Palm Beach County for over 20 years, I had the misfortune of having two dentist, that actually did more harm than heal. I was recommended, by my friend who is a pediatric dentist. A referral from a colleague is golden. Dr. Sergio, surrounds himself with an incredible staff. They share his passion for commitment and service. Except for expansion, the same staff members have been there longer than I have been a valued friend. I have several old crowns and amalgam fillings. I continuously ask to replace them. "Why?", he asks. If you are not in discomfort, why tempt fate, is his credo. Two other pluses. Dr. Sergio is a Prosthodontist (A prosthodontist is highly trained in cosmetics, dental implants, crowns, bridges, dentures, temporomandibular disorders (TMJ/TMD), and more.) The front desk ladies have always been rude, especially the older woman who has been there for years. I've been going to this practice for over 7 years and always see a different dentists, it's nice to have different perspectives but not an ideal experience. My biggest issue is scheduling or rescheduling. You make an appointment 6 months in advance and God forbid you need to reschedule it. I am a full time student and full time employee, my schedule is changing constantly and every time I need to reschedule my cleaning they push it by 2-3 months. No place is perfect, but if they didn't overbook appointments, clients who have been there for years could get the care they need. It just screams greedy and careless. Not the worst, but definitely not the best.

Though we love the staff and care quality; this morning, they refused to accept a CareCredit…read morepayment, a Synchrony Bank network in which it participates, because the charges were under $300. According to Synchrony Bank, any medical provider that chooses to participate in the national CareCredit program must adhere to the governing rules of the national program (minimum $200 charge deferred six month no interest) and cannot unilaterally change the terms. In April, the dental office accepted $200 as a CareCredit payment. The office cited cost of doing business with Synchrony Bank for their explanation. According to Synchrony Bank, they can't do that. They can choose to drop out of the program, but doing so would deny other patients right to defer high cost of dental care. After clarification with Synchrony Bank, and telling the dental office they had to accept the CareCredit, I was discharged as a patient. Unnecessary and very uncool to do that to well-meaning, paying patient.

Than came switching of insurances and we had to part ways, but here I am again as I looked for a dental plan that covers me to come here and I'm better then ever! The staff is always wearing masks, checking in patiently and organized there is never more than 3 people waiting for their appointment in the lobby. I notice that we'll clients must be checked in with COVID questionnaire and then with a temperature check. My dental hygienist was incredible, thorough, informative, and sweet! Head to toe covered up and protecting herself and me through my cleaning. I love this office from the upkeep of cleanliness to the at home feeling. Would 100% recommend this office and dentist!
