My dog had been sneezing violently for several days. I had been in touch over the phone with a…read moredifferent veterinarian who happened to be closed when I finally decided to take my dog in to get checked. The fear was his sneezing was due to "cheat grass" and I choose AMC because it was close to where I am staying and the reviews were favorable. I was VERY disappointed with the care we received. I have a very small terrier mix dog who is shy. The doctor went to pet him an my dog yelped...the doctor jumped and said the nurse would have to get him because he tried to bite. My dog had never tried to bite anyone and was really scarred. I picked up my dog and put him on the examination table. The doctor tried to grab my dogs head to look at his nose and my dog yelped again and did a quick snap....so I apologized. I was waiting for the nurse to ask me to muzzle him...which would be fine with me...my dog was calm and licking me, but the doc refused to examine him because he said he was "violent," What kind of vet is afraid of a small dog...I mean I would have held and muzzled him if that was the case.. Point is...he didn't even TRY to figure out what was wrong with my dog. He dismissed my worry about "cheatgrass" and tried to get me to allow him to give my dog a shot....no way was I going to give him a shot when we don't even have a clue what it could be (plus if the thought my dog was violent before...). I opted for the pills instead. The doc asked me the weight of my dog and I told him it had been awhile since I had him weighed and he said I think 20lbs and then left. I asked the nurse to weigh my dog who was 15lbs on the dot. The doc came back with the pills...when I asked him if we should adjust the dosage for a smaller dog he said no....I looked it up on-line myself and found out that I have to give him a smaller dose. Don't go here....like mentioned before I have been in phone conversations with Animal World Veterinary Clinic and felt pleased with there over the phone advise and wished they were open today. I can't yet vouch for their care just yet, but their bedside manner so far is much better....be on the look out for my review of them on Monday if the sneezing persists.

I received an email from Nick stating the following:…read more We contribute healthy animals only, and free from symptoms of transferable diseases and haven't been exposed to them that will be stated on the Health Certificate issued and signed in original ink by accredited veterinarian. The final physical examination is done the same day we release a kitten, to protect both parties. A genetic health guarantee for one year is included. Every kitten also comes microchipped and vaccinated (at least two shots of FVRCP- type by the age) followed by deworming for external/ internal parasite treatment for prevention, and USDA issued form as a proof the kitten is released by a licensed cattery. In addition, I asked if the cats have had genetic testing and Nick said "yes". However, when I asked to see the paperwork he couldn't supply it. I asked to see the vaccines records for the kittens and he also couldn't supply this paperwork. I questioned him about this and he started to lying. If you're looking for a healthy kitten I would not suggest Silvertails. BUYER BEWARE

The cat came to me with funky eyes but I didn't question it, I just wanted to get the kitten home. After thousands of dollars at the vet, my kitten, Bea, died a horrible death just 5 weeks after having her. The likelihood that all the kittens died is incredibly high as fip is mostly fatal. They were horrible. They said they would refund me if I brought them Bea after she died.
