According to their cancellation policy, I am entitled to a full refund for an item that has not shipped. Since this item was never even in stock, I requested that the order be cancelled and that my money be refunded. Instead, I've had to deal with more delays, more runaround, conflicting information, and what feels like excuse after excuse just to get a simple cancellation processed. At this point, I'm absolutely appalled by how this has been handled. I'm disgusted with the level of incompetence and the complete lack of accountability. You sold me an item you apparently didn't even have, advertised TWO-DAY shipping, failed to deliver, and then made cancelling the order and getting my money back another ordeal. If this order is not cancelled and my full refund is not issued, I will be taking the matter further through the appropriate consumer protection channels regarding the misleading advertising and failure to follow your own cancellation policy. The guys are also really nice but while I was waiting around I saw a ton of cool stuff for the home including soy candles, funky door handles and coat hooks, and stuff you'll never see at Home Depot. I used to buy soy candles at Winners (since soy doesn't produce soot and burns cleanly), but increasingly they don't carry them anymore and instead have "hand-poured" candles ( what the hell is that supposed to mean if it doesn't change the fact that it produces soot?) but now at least I can get some here at a reasonable price. There's a reason why it's located in Westmount and also Nun's Island, it's definitely more bourgeoisie and less blue-collar.
