Each floor has different themes and there are like 5 buildings that you can visit around. There is path/ outside to get across to. During that time, two of buildings were closed to an event and for installation. We spent about 2-3 hrs long and then we were tired. We didn't get to see everything but that's okay! We still enjoyed our visit. Definitely worth visit when you are in Montréal. The workers were excellent at their jobs.

I highly recommend securing your tickets in advance to skip the wait, as most visitors are required to reserve their free passes online anyway. The museum was lively but manageable. We spent close to three hours inside and weren't able to cover all the displays. The artwork was captivating, and I loved that the exhibitions are refreshed almost every season. The staff stood out as well--polite, attentive, and happy to assist whenever needed.
