This place has been here a while now but its the first time I stopped in. It's a grocery store but it's also more than that. It's a mom and pop's natural food store I guess you could say. They have lots of specialty brands and flavors. The aisles are decent sized and the set up for the store is easy to navigate. Friendly staff as well. They have a small parking lot but it can get filled up quickly when it's busy. A great addition to the neighborhood.

A new premium supermarket opens in Forest Hills. It's like a mini version of Fairway or Whole Foods. Expect to find quality products at reasonable to high prices. Fresh grapes were only $2 lb. A great deal! Quality meats, Fresh fish, seafood, cheese cut to order, artisanal bread baked daily, and pre-cooked food counter. Good time to pick up some dinner! Produce aisle was brimming with freshness. Large variety of different fruits and vegetables, some organic and reasonably priced. Cheese counter. Big wheels of cheese everywhere. They also have samples for you to try out. Bread counter. Artisanal breads are baked daily in-house. You can see their big ovens in the back. Samples of their breads are set out on the counter for you to sample, along with some of their featured olive oils, for dipping. There is also aisles of usual supermarket items like, dairy, frozen food, snacks, spices, sauces, detergents, etc. Most of their products contain fewer artificial ingredients and chemicals, than your average supermarket. Lots of items are not found in your local supermarket. As a Yelp foodie, it was nice wandering around finding new items of interest. Parking: They have their own parking lot, adjacent. Angie's Market was under soft opening and chaos last week. The food and grocery were fresh with good quality but lots of shelves were still empty and price was labeled incorrectly. The arrangement of store wasn't proper in our opinion that the aisles were super narrow and the windows were blocked with the back of freezers.

Rotten food, rude owner and family, over priced. You could go down the street to Trader Joe's and get better quality and better priced food.

Now that's funny! But the mini eggplants were decrepit and turning fast, I bought some deep purple bigger ones for counter balance. One never knows the schedule of incoming, so outside shopping can be hit or miss. Yesterday was a miss, today likely will be a hit although I'm packed to the rafters at home now. Cauliflower, pears, carrots, celery, peppers, strung beans all for under a dollar and a half per pound, the market fluctuates as the product diminishes, giving itself back to nature in death and decay but you'll never encounter that stage on display. The smoked fish display is always my favorite stop, Chubs are $4.99 a pound and they last a goodly while in the fridge, so I bought my usual three. I LOVE that they're perched upon the top of the counter, not displayed behind the glass of a case. I feel more inclined to buy in this scenario, I see they're orange brown eyes and I wonder about their lives prior to landing here. Anyway, I accidentally parked illegally and no ticket was given making this Sunday shopping excursion a total success, minus the baby eggplant.

This Aldi was the best one I have been to. Get there early and you will be in and out in no time…read more The store was neat and well organized. I found everything that I was looking for. Staff was friendly and extremely helpful

Pure chaos…read more Mentally, emotionally, and even physically prepare yourself before you walk through these doors. I've only been to one other Aldi's (out of state) and that seemed to be more relaxed, organized, and clean, but this one seems to attract some of the worst shoppers I've ever encountered: shamelessly opening packages, knocking products down, destroying items, and misplacing them. I get it's a discount market and that this shopping center in particular pulls in most of Queens but it's reminiscent of Black Friday in the 2000s most of the time--at all hours. So many aggressive shoppers who are very likely ready to shove you. It is somewhat better during the weekdays and I always get most of what I need. Their meat and cheese selections are excellent and decently priced. I don't suggest getting anything brand-name because they definitely charge a little more than elsewhere but for everything else, you can tell when big labels make an off-brand version for Aldi. The staff is here and there at times and they are definitely understaffed, even during peak hours. I've seen them get frustrated with unaware shoppers, which is understandable. Don't make this your one-stop shop if you live in the area or have a market near you. Not worth the stress navigating through people and long lines at times.
