The girl did an okay job but not good enough for me to ask her name to become a repeat customer. On my second visit I asked for polish and was given the menu. She brought back gel and said that color was not in polish. I picked another color and she brought back the color in gel and a somewhat similar color in polish and showed me that the gel was prettier and lasts so much longer. At this point I accepted the polish that she brought to not delay any further. She proceeded to scrape the crap out of the cuticles on my big toes. Both bled and my left toe still hurts, two days later. I had a regular tech for over 15 years at my former residence and I don't remember her ever bringing blood or hurting me during a manicure or pedicure. And she never pushed her preferences on me. I actually wasn't going to write a review. I was just going to never come back. But since I'm monitoring my toe for infection I thought a review was in order. My first visit would have been a 4 and my second a 1, so I will average the stars for this review.

She is absolutely the best person to go to. However, the rest of the employees are below par. A few aren't awful but just don't really listen or pay any attention to detail. I'm not a manicure expert, I had to kill some time so decided to try this place. I never done gel…read morepolish before and was amazed how quick it was. I walked out satisfied. Two weeks have passed and now I know the drawback of gel polish. It takes a lot of work to get the polish off. However, the polish lasted the entire 2 weeks, and the only reason I got them done is because my nails had grown and it was time to freshen it up. The time it takes to take the polish off and do the manicure is about the same as a standard manicure, but the nice part is that your nails are really, truly dry afterward. With standard polish I was at risk of gouging my nails for at least 24 hours afterward. I have had my nails done by 2 different technicians and they both did a fine job. Yeah, my tips are very slightly crooked, but I'm getting old and my fingers are just a little crooked too. I swear nobody is going to notice if your nails are very slightly slanted. I will go back in 2 weeks It's been several weeks and this time I really destroyed my nails. I pack boxes and handle equipment for a living so occasionally my nails tear very low and there's not much that can be done to fix them. This time they gave me a powder manicure. It costs the same as gel and they said this mani is durable and makes your nails stronger. I chose a very light color so as not to draw attention to my super short nails, but they look good and I'll see how my nails hold up after a couple weeks.
