The atmosphere was nice and the owner and the stylists were all friendly - in a genuine way. They let us bring in snacks and even let us store a beverage cooler there the night before. My sister, the bride, looked AMAZING. She brought some pictures of ideas for her hair but wasn't entirely sure what she wanted. The stylist made it work! At one point, there was something out of place and she was happy to redo that part. Her makeup made her look like a fashion model (I know it's my sister so I always think she's gorgeous, but trust me, she really looked stunning!). Guess who else cried when he saw her? My other sister doesn't usually wear makeup and wanted it to be at a minimum, so the makeup artist put just enough on her to make sure the pictures would still look good. The only input she had for her hair was "I want a bun with no poof". The hair stylist shaped her hair in a way that accentuated her facial features (with no poof of course!). It was a great look for her. I'm the opposite; I wanted something elaborate for my long hair, like a braid going around the top of my head. My hair stylist worked magic. I got TWO braids around my head, AND a bun in the back, AND hair that was let down in curls. My hair has never looked this good and I got many compliments at the wedding. For my makeup, I wanted something pretty but that wouldn't stand out too much. I was skeptical when the makeup artist lined the bottom of my eyes because I never do that - but it looked great. My mother, the groom's mother and sister, and two of my sister's friends also got their hair and makeup done here. Everyone looked beautiful and had a lovely experience. Thank you!

The only time the Dremel came out was to file down the nail bed once and I wondered why she didn't treat the nail and nail bed with the chemicals that help keep the nails in place. I typically am not one to complain and regret I didn't say anything at the time. My recommendation is to pay attention to what's being done as I was paying more attention to the friend talking that came with me.
