Update: 6/16/21 Up until the pandemic, I continued to take my 3 boys to this barber shop since my first review. Every time I came away happy with the service and results. They updated the shop in 2019 and now have one of those cute car chairs for kids and an atm in the shop if you forget to grab cash on your way there. I would highly recommend this barber to anyone needing a good men's cut. I only stopped going because of the pandemic & now we've moved out of the county. They give good haircuts but don't follow first come first serve business protocol, why have a list if you don't follow it, went in to get haircut waited 1hour just so they can by pass me to get a person cut me in line, then again afterwards when a friend of theirs came to get haircut. Recently moved to the area and needed a fresh cut for a major event (wedding) I explained to Sam it was my first time there and needed this cut to be extra clean since I am the best man of the wedding. He assured me he would take care of me after I showed him a few photos of my prior cuts of what I was looking for. I left my fate in his hands as most of us to and prayed for the best. He started with the fade which turned out to be pretty decent. He then proceeded to cut the top and it was all downhill from there. Granted I did have gel in my hair which he could of wet my hair to truly get an even cut. He chopped off way more than I expected and asked me after one pass from front to back saying "this is how much I cut off" little too late at that point I was already committed so I just hung on for the ride. Once I got home and showered I saw the true outcome of the haircut. One side was done well as expected but the other side was choppy and had lots of long strains which I will then have to go to another shop to fix. When Sam asked me how I found out about his shop I said yelp so I would be remiss if I did not write an honest review. Price was $20 for a basic fade +$5 tip. Maybe he was having an off day, but thanks to that I will be having an off week. I will definitely not be coming back to this place. read more

I was a loyal customer here, they only accept walk ins and what did it for me is that they couldn't respect me as customer, I came in signed in the waiting sheet waited for like 30 min and ended up leaving like 2 min away to drop off my wife at the house and I told them I would be right back while they were still cutting other people, I was already on my way back from a two min drive when I received a call saying I was next and I told them I would be there in one minute and guy said he would wait for me, when I got there he had already passed someone else and told me to wait more time, that really pissed me off knowing that I always wait for them up to 45 min to get a cut and he couldn't wait 1 min for me, that just told me they don't appreciate their customers and loyalty so never came back read more

Today was my first time visiting Angel's barber shop. And let me just say that the customer service was phenomenal! I messaged the shop through their Yelp page because I wanted to make an appointment. They also take walk-ins by the way. Sam, the owner replied to me within minutes and accepted my request. When I arrived to the shop, one of the barbers greeted me with a smile and sat me right away! I then explained to him what style I wanted my hair cut and without any hesitation, he executed with great precision! I was very pleased with his work and dedication, especially his attention to detail! The name "Allen" was embroided on his shirt, so that helped me remember who to give the credit to for his awesome service! I was left very happy and satisfied! Came by today with my 4 year-old son for a cut. This was my first time coming here as we needed a last minute cut. Sam cut my hair while the other guy (did not get his name) cut my son's. My sons hair turned out great and that had to be one of the best cuts he's had! As far as mine, Sam did a great job as well and was very meticulous and interested in what I wanted ( even though I'm not that specific). my boyfriend went here a couple weeks ago with long-ish curly hair that he has worked really hard to take care of and it means a lot to him. his hair was very well taken care of and he just needed a trim. The barber shop he usually goes to was closed so he ended up here and left with a HORRIBLE haircut that left his hair with lots of breakage and he looks like he's balding in the back because the person who did his hair cut so much from the back that his curls look sad in the back and it just does not look right... he has to now wait MONTHS maybe even a year or more till it grows back and it's shattered his confidence. he paid $45 for a haircut that he despises everyday. he said he told the barber how to handle his curly hair and the man proceeded to NOT listen to his requests and fucked him up. Got a haircut from a tattooed gentleman who was very aggressive with the haircut. I knew something was off with him when he asked me what I wanted on my haircut and I guess it wasn't a sufficient answer and his tone changed drastically. He came off as very rude, told me to take off my glasses like a command and proceeded to cut my hair extremely fast, resulting in him scratching my face with the brush. This is my third time here and hadn't had any problems until this. And then my haircut was $25 instead of the usual $20. I just got a very unfriendly and uncomfortable vibe when I was getting my cut, almost like he didn't care about his job. I've been visiting town for a few weeks, and needed to find a place to get a nice STRAIGHT RAZOR SHAVE on both my face and head. I normally shave myself every couple days, but once in awhile it's really nice to have a Pro do it!! Well...Sam was a Pro for sure!! He started cutting their hair when they were each 9 months old and they are 5 and 3 now. Sam is wonderful with them and they are very happy and comfortable with him and all the staff.
