Okay Yelpmates. Just how good is your life today? Hopefully you're finding the specs of wonderful…read moreeven within those dark moments. Pretty sure it's there if you look hard enough. Slow down. Be with me for 6 minutes. Can you share a moment with me?
Me, I am still on my retirement living, so this trip isn't vacation. Life as an energetic retiree is 100% vacation mode, all day, every day. I'm still in southeast Asia exploring Americana abroad. Seems western culture is celebrated here to the extreme.
Today, another trip to Cinnabon. Check the pics. Here, the minibons are almost the size of a full cinnibon stateside, and the full sized Cinnabons, are Monsterbons. Why did I have to travel 8285 miles to get a proper Cinnabon? Yes, they also do this better than us. Lighter, but dense enough to give you a good rich bite. The coffees are megastrong.
Service? Come on, this is just the friendliest place on earth since Mayberry. It's as if Aunt Bea, Andy, Opie, Barney Phife are somewhere here. Just that nice. If you know the reference, sheesh you're old (like me).
Gotta go. Thank each of you for reading. I hope wherever you are in your lives, you're enjoying a bit of sweetness as I have here in the Phillipines at C'Bon. Life isn't short. Life is a million moments long if you're present and egaging them. Get unfocused, unrushed so you can take more of these mini-moments in.
Like the thousands of grains of cinnamon in a humble Cinnabon, the moments add up to something sweet n' rich if you take time to savor each one. Don't wolf them down. Sit still, bite big, chew small, let life sit on your tastebuds a while. You don't have to travel far, or be retired to enjoy your life, you simply need to make the choice to.
Be well, be loved, bite, sip, bite, sip. You really are worth enjoying your one life a bite at a time. Hope you've made that choice. Thanks again if you slowed down to read this far, to really read takes giving in to moments. If you are here with me now, I so appreciate you.
Peace folks.
