I have been a patient more than 10 years and love that he has the same staff he had when I started! Beverly is sweet and funny, and Maria treats you like family. Dr alter has Sunday hours in the early morning, and that's so convenient for kids who play sports. Dr alter is really gentle and caring and checks on your comfort throughout your procedure. I have had no issues with his work, which include 2 implants, bonding on my front teeth and 3 recent cavities. He also changed some old silver fillings to white at my request. My only negative is that sometimes street parking is tough, but there is a public lot behind the school about a block away.

Kathleen, the dental hygienist is very knowledgeable and helps you learn how to properly take care of your teeth and gums. She also gives the ABSOLUTE BEST teeth cleanings! She really takes her time and explains everything as she goes along. I have seen both Dr. Alter and Dr. Seleven. Both of them are amazing dentists. They keep you informed the whole way through and really listen to your concerns. They are very thorough and very caring. Also, this office is exceptionally clean. Havent been to a dentist in years…read more I started getting BAD pain on my left side. Decided to find a dentist on Yelp worth a visit. I found Dr. Genco and gave him a call. I called his office and got him, which was kind of a shock since I was expecting a secretary. I thought that was cool. I told him about my situation and went in the next day. I showed up a hour before he closed. He not only was SUPER cool, but very caring. After filing out some quick paperwork he brought me in. Before he even began he told me the most important thing for him is to make sure I never feel any pain. He did some visual checks... immediately told me the reason I was feeling alot of pain, as well as being lethargic was because my teeth were infected. He took some XRays and showed me the results. He quickly prescribed me antibiotics and explained our plans to get these teeth fixed. Throughout the whole process he was VERY caring. Something you rarely see from a dentist or even doctor nowadays. They usually finish you up and ask for the next one. Im planning to go back in a week or so to start fixing up these teeth. highly recommend him because hes really cool and caring.

Dr. Kwok goes above and beyond to make what is normally a very unpleasant procedure quick and comfortable as possible. The office is extremely clean and high tech. All the latest technology is utilized to accurately diagnose your issue. Dr. Kwok did what no other dentist has done in these procedures --she explained each step, was kind and transparent when there was pain and gave me a timestamp for when the procedure would be over. I panicked because I didn't think anyone would be working during the holidays. But I tried anyways, called Dr. Duong immediately and explained to him my situation. He carefully listened to my concerns, cancelled his Christmas Eve plans, and brought me into his office at 6:30pm that night to check on my tooth, and eventually perform the root canal that I desperately needed. To this day, I don't even have words on what an amazing dentist and human being he is. He is super friendly, always willing to help, and just absolutely amazing and meticulous at his craft. I felt so safe knowing that I was in his hands. Highly, highly recommend. Truly a miracle worker!
