I recently visited Angel Ra for the first time and honestly didn't even know it was there before. I popped in just to browse and ended up spending way more time than I planned. The owner greeted me right when I walked in and took the time to explain the history of the shop, what they do, and everything they offer, which I really appreciated. The whole place feels welcoming and relaxed, not intimidating at all. They have a great selection of stones, both polished and natural, in all shapes and sizes. There's also incense, candles, and lots of really fun jewelry. The zodiac jars were a cute touch (of course this Pisces had to get one), and they also have these "to-go" surprise boxes that are such a fun idea. Overall, such a cute little shop with kind, helpful people and a really nice vibe. Definitely worth stopping in if you're into crystals, gifts, or just want to browse somewhere that feels warm and welcoming. read more

What a wonderful experience we had tonight! Went in as the farmers market was ending not realizing it was close to closing and the owner helped us with permanent bracelets. Terrible experience here yesterday. I came in to get a permanent bracelet, and Marissa was very unprofessional and abrasive. She literally shocked my arm multiple times instead of shocking the bracelet with the welding tool. She didn't even apologize until maybe the fourth time? The manager was very sweet and had to end up taking over. Marissa was apparently going through something and also used this as an excuse. I understand going through something but you shouldn't have come to work then and left me with a scar. Oh and on top of all of that, I was still charged full price! read more

A co-worker recommended Angel Ra a few weeks back and when I went to the shop I was really impressed. The employees are super knowledgeable, have the best vibes, and are really good at reading people's energy. The thing that I really appreciated the most was the general atmosphere of the place. There are so many aspects that make it feel like more than just a shop. I'm having a really hard time even finding a word to describe it. It just feels like it's where you belong, or like you are supposed to be there, and when I left I felt so much better than when I went in. I didn't really know what I was looking for when I went to the shop, but left with some really cool stuff, had some great conversations, and met some really cool people. I love that she sells sage, crystals, and chakra votive candles! Dragonfairy in Stockton used to sell the Aloha Bay candles and stopped selling them. Angel was supper sweet to me and my niece when we went to go look for some jewelry. I bought a gold filled chain and aquamarine pendent that still look as new as the day I got them. The owner said to a previous review iew that she'll communicate with her staff the importance of wearing masks but she doesn't wear one! She was having a conversation with someone (also not wearing a mask) about hosting a class in her space. So an indoor gathering of mixed HHs in a small space? Will they wear masks? small businesses want support but you're putting my family in jeopardy. I'll support the businesses that follow the mandates and actually care about the customers well being. read more

I went in with my children because my teenager wanted to shop for a gift for her friend's birthday. I was watching my 4 and 9yr old like a hawk and talked to them about gem store etiquette. They carefully picked out a small gem. The cashier kept saying passive aggressive remarks to me and my kids, especially my 4yr old. She said, "oh come back again but leave him at home", "hey please don't walk by my furniture it's really expensive" (the store is super small so everyone has to walk by the furniture), "oh please don't touch anything at all" (that was directly at my 4yr old) and " oh I can see who manipulated you" (again to my 4yr old when I purchased a small gem and a stuffed animal key chain). She also leaped across 2 tables and clicked her long fake nails on the shelf to tell my son not to touch a gem that I was right there making sure he didn't touch. Just very bizarre behavior from the cashier. At a gem store people of all ages are drawn to the stones and gems that make them feel good. Most people touch the gems and hold them to feel their energy and either buy the gem or put it back. There were no signs posted saying please don't touch. She was just discriminating against my children. I spent $62 at this store. I told the cashier I'd never be coming back and if she didn't want small children in her store then there needs to be a sign posted that says, "No 4yr Olds or small children allowed." Instead of spewing negative energy and rude comments at paying customers and the kids too. read more
