I am so relieved that we chose to trust Angels with Paws to care for our beloved dog, Clementine, on the hardest day. We will always be grateful to Brian and Roberta for their kindness, compassion, and respect. They were both professional and empathetic. They treated our sweet girl with dignity and allowed us time to say goodbye. I called and emailed to ask questions before needing their services, and they were both so patient, communicative and helpful, which gave me so much comfort. My questions about private individual cremation were addressed promptly and thoroughly by Roberta on the phone, and Brian by email. Although they offer pick up, it was important to us to go to Angels with Paws to ensure we felt comfortable. We were so fortunate to be able to choose in-home euthanasia, and we took our dog for cremation afterward. We arrived later than expected, and Brian was so accommodating, and ensured we did not feel rushed. We appreciated his quiet presence and empathy, and he expressed his condolences several times. Angels with Paws offers a nice selection of urns, memorial jewelry, and other keepsakes, too. The drive through the mountains from Asheville was beautiful, and upon arrival we felt such a sense of peace. They have chosen a lovely, tranquil location, and the crematory itself is located outside. We arrived toward the end of the day, and our amazing girl was wrapped in her blanket and cremated under a starry sky. We were relieved to hear that Clementine's ashes were ready for pickup sooner than expected. Our only regret is that Angels with Paws did not provide cremation services for our previous animals years ago. We have always had suitable experiences in the past, but this was different. Angels with Paws is a locally-owned family business and they genuinely care. They took extra time to honor our wishes, and this meant more than words can express. Thank you, Brian and Roberta, for being here for our family and so many others.

He went above and beyond to get our sweetest boy taken care of and back to us before we had to continue on our way. He was very open and informative about the process, and the facility was very professional, clean, and easy to find. Then, she tried to guilt me about not caring about my dog and stated, "if it were your child, you'd pay it." So I took my dog to a different vet to get his ear looked at, they were going to check, but when they checked his paperwork from Crestview, they gave them a call and then told me that the vet said my dog needed this expensive procedure. I ended up taking him to a different vet, and the vet in Asheville examined him for $55 and said there's nothing wrong with his ear, and nothing growing inside of it as Crestview stated. I've had my doggy 8 years now, and "still" nothing wrong with his ear and he's as healthy as can be. Also, they charged me $60 for the exact same bag of dogfood that I saw at PetSmart for $29. I "always" make it a point to warn people who ask me about that place when they've newly adopted pets. Stay away from this place! Crestview is HORRIBLE! EXPENSIVE! UNETHICAL! ARROGANT!

He wasn't just a dog he was a member of our family and was very much loved. CVPC treated him as we would expect a family member to be treated. They coordinated and arrived at our home with the Vet involved in this excruciating process. The gentleman who came to get our baby lifted him gently and wrapped him respectfully in a clean white sheet, placed him carefully on a gurney, offered his condolences to us and transported him to their facility. They took care of cremation and placed his cremains in a beautiful engraved box, made impressions of his paw and nose and placed some of his hair in a keepsake vial. They had everything ready to return to us in just a few days. The fee while expensive was worth it because of the dignified respectful way everything was handled. Even my neighbors came out to comment on how incredibly dignified they treated our baby's remains with him "being a dog". If you love your pet like family and you wish to honor them in a way that's not "digging a hole in the back yard" this is the company to call. I can't say enough good things on the kind professional services they offered when we needed them. I would also like to mention that this all happened rather suddenly the day after the devastating hurricane Helene hit our area...lots of power outages and storm issues but they didn't let any of those issues interfere with taking care of our needs for Forrest. If I ever need this type service in the future they will be who I call!

After recently moving from San Diego to Asheville I found my dog struggling and found it was a collapsed trachea and to take him home for palliative care. I found out on a Thursday and was told to take him home and provide steroids and painkillers. I was in shock, and didn't know what to do. His quality of life was my main concern. Both my daughter and I arrived individually at the same site based on reviews and meeting our need to let Sluggo go in a loving comfortable way for him. That Sunday morning, Dr cat came over, and told us exactly what would happen. She gave him treats to help him feel good, and then a shot that takes 15 minutes to really relax and help my baby sleep, but still could hear me. I was able to look into his soulful eyes before he went to sleep and honor him for all that he gave me, comforted me and his amazing friendship and thanked him for his abundance of love. She placed an IV after he was sleeping and snoring in true pug fashion. I spoke to him and told him it was ok to leave, thanked him from the bottom of my heart and said goodbye. I nodded to Dr. Cat to administer the final shot and shortly after, my baby was gone. He left peacefully under a big beautiful maple tree on a lovely October day with the birds chirping. I will never forget the care Dr. Cat gave my best friend. She was soft spoken, caring and compassionate. She put his paw into a clay form for me, and I will always have him and his ashes with me. Highly recommend this for any pet owner. So peaceful for our loving friends and companions, and made a hard day a blessing of peace and thankfulness. Forever in my heart my Bubbadoo Thank you Dr. Cat for your calm and peaceful presence you brought, your gentle heart for letting us take our time, and your compassion for my baby and for us.
