Maggie did a great job making sure everything was just right (hair, clothes placement, all the details that rushed retail folks don't have time for). I also liked that I could actually see the photo to confirm I liked it, and we took multiple shots to get the one I wanted. Maggie was able to get European-compliant photos for me, and I had no problem at the consulate when applying for a passport. Worth the price!

Honestly, I was a little nervous about the whole experience, but Deb made it seamless. From scheduling online (no phone calls! a dream come true), to paying electronically, to having the opportunity to select my background and share the look I was interested in, to feeling completely comfortable during my photo shoot - it was a seamless experience with Deb. She's so friendly, warm, and accommodating that it really takes the stress out of the process. Her professional studio if in the basement of her home, which turned out just fine - I parked on the street in from of her house, rang the doorbell, went to her studio, and everything worked out well. My headshots turned out so beautifully that I made my husband get his done with Deb as well! (In my defense, his LinkedIn picture was from about a decade ago and was one of those group shots where you can tell other people were cut out of the picture - yikes!) He had no idea what he wanted and Deb helpfully guided him toward something that made sense. We got there just in time for our appointment and they took us immediately. It was only my 7 year old daughter who got her pictures taken. The photographer, Sarah, was really nice and told us what her plan was for the shoot. I really liked this because I'm in no way a photographer, so I wouldn't have known what back drops and poses went well for a cute pic. My daughter is older so she moved fast with the photographer when she had her change poses or move around on the back drop. I'd say it took about 15 minutes for the entire shoot. I originally went in with a $9 package I got through email. Once i saw the pictures I couldn't just pick one so I eventually chose a package that included the $9 promotional package (for one pose and 6 sheets) plus an extra enhanced sheet of another pose, and a CD with all images. This also included a super cute picture frame with 3 photos of my choice. All for about $140. Prices were a bit on the higher end (around $150 for a small package) without a coupon or anything so I would recommend bringing a coupon or Groupon. Sign up for emails! That's how I got my $9 package deal. Overall it was a great experience and I definitely will be back!

What I love about her is her ability to find romance and whimsy in details... her shots aren't overly formal or staged. In the process, you become more and more comfortable as the subject instead of feeling like an object. But, for the record, she also captures objects too - and quite beautifully! There was a scheduling mishap, I was frustrated but didn't take it out on him. I was asking what the possibilities were and accepted there wasn't a viable solution right there and then but again frustrated about the situation. Instead of being empathetic, he was patronizing so when he asked if he should cancel my existing reservation, I said "I'll deal with it". I gathered my things and proceeded to leave. He yelled out sarcastically "I hope you have a better day". Not once did I raise my voice with him, I didn't even argue. Maybe I could have said "thank you" on my way out but I was dealing with no signal to call and coordinate the rescheduling of the session with the rest of my group (who were waiting in the car) and having to drive out of the way to get pictures done, only to be turned away. Again, didn't blame him, I was frustrated about the situation and his actions made it go from bad to worse. I have had great experiences with Alec from 2020/2021 and then Ahjay in 2022. He is the only new factor and the reason I will no longer go to this location.

Weekends are busy times for them, I usually ask when they're slower when I call so I can come then. Pictures take about a week to come back. I'm always pleased with the quality of the prints - better than other studios I've used. Overall, quality and price... much better than Sears or Picture People. You can request your favorite girl, but I've been happy with everyone I've gotten.
