Andy's Champion Auto Body did a great job in repairing my car after a young driver hit me. When you are in a vehicle accident, it can be very stressful. He immediately made sure I was in a car to get home and get to work and repaired my car in a timely manner. He listened to my concerns and assured me my car would be repaired right. Always drunk, reeks of alcohol, and is belligerent to customers at times.. Andy doesn't want business or to deal with insurance companies... will tell you one thing and then tell you another the following day. Haggles insurance companies over $1 of labor rates and continually complains that he can't handle taking phone calls. DO NOT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO ANDY CHAMPION. No customer service at all and treats you like a burden for bringing your business. Would never recommend and would love to see businesses like this close, as they do not support and take care of the communities that give them business. Avoid at all costs!!! read more

My car broke down on a bridge in town. Before AAA arrived, the police had it towed since it was sitting on the bridge and in an "unsafe" spot. Tow truck driver from Andy's told me it would be $180 and the shop closed at 4, if I didn't get there by 4, I'd be charged for a second day. I get there around 315 to pay for my car and meet another tow truck driver that is taking it to my mechanic. As soon as I tell the guy at the shop I'm there to pay and another truck is on the way, he says "well he better get here quick we close at 330." Driver showed up at the last minute and I was able to get my car out. $244 (after the driver told me $180), 330pm, not 4 like the driver told me, and an attitude from the guy at the shop that charged me $244 for a 2 mile tow and 2 hours of storage. Also wonder how much kick-back the city gets for this contract? Or does this asshole keep that full $240? What a racket. read more

He harassed me when I wanted to get literally just my wallet out of my car, which had all my belonging. it was towed here by police after a crash. he made me feel bad for getting my own stuff. never come here by choice. read more

My vehicle was towed by the Bethlehem police department to this garage after a accident. I was told by 2 separate officers that I could pick up my car this evening (Sunday) at 7:30pm. I called the number numerous times and all I got was a generic voicemail. I went to the garage and found no one there. I needed to retrieve important items fro my car for work. It appears that they will tow your car and take your money but unfortunately not be there when you need to get something out of your car. I don't know why the Bethlehem police would say one thing and the garage another. read more

Car was towed by this company. Went to pick it up to find the cost was unnecessarily high ($286 for a ~5 mile tow) with absurd fees that were difficult for him to explain. The car was in his possession for under an hour and he still hit us with a $55 storage fee. He said we had to pay in cash and he applied an $11 fee in order to use a credit card. This was easily the worst experience I've had in Bethlehem since I've moved here. I hope I never have to come in contact with this guy again. I'm a little concerned and surprised that the police do business with this thief. read more

From the first call to Brianna to set an appointment, to getting the estimate and having Andy volunteer to work directly with the insurance company of the guy that hit me. Then I dropped my car off - easily got a rental - and Andy and his incredible team handled it all, even when additional damage was found after this initial estimate. Andy fought for me when it came to the insurance, and got the job done wonderfully. I won't go anywhere else from now on when it comes to car repairs. This guy started off being very nice and accommodating but ended up being the rudest and most unprofessional business owner I have ever met!!! On a Friday evening rush hour in the midst of really bad weather (it was snowing), I'm trying to return his rental car to him and pick up my vehicle. After calling him numerous times letting him know I was on my way there he kept saying 'very good'. I'm now 3 miles from his place and sliding on the road from the snow and this man has the nerve to tell me let's do this tomorrow! I told him no that I was almost there and when I finally arrived he starts screaming At me from the carport to drive the rental car inside and telling me how late he was for dinner!!! Really???? I'm trying to avoid having an accident in your rental car from the snow and that's all you can think about???? Then I see my vehicle outside with snow piled on it! He didn't even have the decency to take the snow off my car and show me the repair! He locked up his place and drove off with me standing there I the dark trying to find something to remove the snow from my vehicle! What a gentleman!!! For someone who is a business owner and has a daughter I'm sure he wouldn't want her treated that way by someone!!! I will NEVER go back there or recommend him to ANYONE!!!! I have never met such an unpleasant person as the owner of this business. Was not helpful in any way. I even had to go get my own vehicle out of the impound yard which included unlocking gates by myself. He even charged me $30.00 for someone to go verify the VIN on my vehicle which took less than five minutes. Truly one of the surliest, grumpiest, unfriendly people I have ever encountered. read more

This is the first review I've ever written a review on a place and I was drawn to do it by the sheer Ridiculousness of how bad the service was there! Andy is a scam and con artist! I had to go up to help a friend who had their car there because she was being treated so bad and I was absolutely shocked by the way this man treated her and he kept hanging up on the insurance company when they were trying to pay him repeatedly so he could charge more storage fees! I sat there and caught him in one lie after the next. The only person I saw on his staff looks like he was high on painkillers with pin point pupils (it was inside and a rainy day so no excuse) and circles under his eyes, when I looked at him for him in the eyes he got real weirded out and look down at the ground so I couldn't see his eyes another time. Andy was the rudest person I ever met that was running a business! He also tried to tell us he wasn't the owner that he had to answered to a boss but I didn't believe that being the place was named after him and when I did my research of course he was the owner! I would never in a million years there are a lot of body shops around here who do better work, treat you nice and don't try to con people! The owner of this establishment has the worst customer service skills I have ever encountered. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. My car was recently towed there due to an accident and the owner, Andy, was nasty and rude from the moment we walked into the place. He would not let me get my belongings out of MY car until my insurance agent called him on his landline phone, despite the fact I was on the phone with them. He would not speak to them and they could not believe the way he was treating me. I had to wait another day because the adjuster was not in at the time to call and he only wanted the adjuster to call. I think it was so he could have the car there another day to get more money. I go there the next day he is yelling and cursing and calling us names for no reason of ours. He gives us a key and it ends up breaking in the key lock and he freaks out even more! He started calling us idiots and yelling, cursing, and spitting while throwing his hands up in the air. In my opinion, these guys are not good honest people. I would recommend taking your car to another place. There are tons of great body shops that do exceptional work that do not treat you this way. I would not give my money to these people ever again. read more

Hit a traffic cone driving from Pennsylvania to New Jersey which ripped a piece of molding off wheel well of car. Was unable to drive safely. I pulled into a WaWa station in Bethlehem Pa. approximately 3:30 pm. I tried to either snap it back on or remove it completely but was unable to do so. I typed auto body shops near me and found Andy's . I explained my situation & they were about to close . They gave me precise directions to their location & I arrived about 10 minutes prior to their closing time. They took my car in immediately & remedied the situation in 5 minutes, allowing me to safely drive home. When I asked how much I owed, they said "nothing "& were glad to be able to help. I attempted to tip the young man who fixed it & he said it wasn't necessary! Some people would have taken advantage of my situation but they didn't. They treated me kindly & with respect. Hit a deer with my Corvette took it here for repairs. WORST BODY SHOP! Andy is very rood, Quality of work is HORRIBLE. Vehicle completely swirled, dust in the paint, left wet sand marks all over, Paint does not match. Insurance told me they were horrible to work with on their end. When I hit a deer on Rt. 22 with my 135BMW I was in shock and disbelief. I had my car towed directly to Andy's. From the moment I got there Andy took charge. Andy was immediately on the phone with my insurance company and I was given a rental right away. Andy and his crew did an incredible job with transforming my car back into new. Andy also went the extra mile to ensure that I had original replacement parts, and this was no easy feat. Andy also made sure that I did not have to pay for the additional days of my rental car, due to the insurance company taking so long to settle the claim. My husband and I were in a minor accident on Sun., Feb. 7. We contacted a towing company; waited for over an hour with no response. Contacted Andy's Champion Auto Body; we were towed to Andy's within 15 minutes. The driver was extremely courteous; went above and beyond to help us. Once at Andy's, Andy took care of all the paperwork necessary AND had us in a rental car as well!! My husband's car was fixed here also; again EXCELLENT service all around!!
