I went on to try Reiki services (which I never tried before and was skeptical) and it was incredible! I have referred several friends and all have felt the same! It is hard to find someone who is both a Licensed Counselor and a Reiki Master Practioner. Let alone find one in the suburbs. Mary is both and is a god send. She is relatable, wise, positive, and funny. Her office is so relaxing and welcoming. Her love of what she does and the clients she serves shines through in her work, and her ability to combine traditional and non traditional therapies is a gift! Highly recommend River's Journey and am excited to go back!

At first the idea of reiki sounded crazy to me. But after my first experience of doing reiki with Mary I am a true believer in its powers. I highly recommend Rivers Journey Counseling.
