Made an appointment with Andy to get hair treatment and styling through instagram. Andy replied in a timely matter and we finally found a day to get my hair done while I was in Venice for a wedding. When I arrived to my appointment, Andy wasn't the one who was able to take care of my hair so he had his assistant work on my hair while he translated what I was saying to her since she did not speak English. The treatment was very quick and she let it set for about 10 minutes before she dried my hair. Even though my hair wasn't fully dried, she went ahead and started curling my hair with a curling iron! Hair 101, never use heat on wet hair! Though it looked nice I could tell that my hair was fried from the heat damage. For $60 to get a hair mask and for them to end up damaging my hair made me really upset. When I got back to the states, my hair stylist was in complete disbelief on the job they did and ended up needing to cut off 5 inches of my hair! I truly wanted to like this establishment but this experience left a sour taste. read more

I was nervous going to get my hair colored in a town where I knew noone. I chose Andy's based on his good recommendations, and I am so glad I did. I had a relatively complicated issue--I have a white streak at the front of the my head but I color the grey everywhere else. Andy understood perfectly, did a beautiful job, and cut my hair wonderfully as well. The morning also involved a perfect espresso. Recommend very highly! read more
