Brand names like Dior, Gucci and Estee Lauder are all present, but we wanted to get something that's uniquely Italian. The woman who assisted us was very helpful and let us sample a bunch of perfumes. The bf's mom specifically asked for a perfume made in Italy and you can't get any more authentic than the shop's own brand, the "Ponte Di Rialto". The perfume presents itself with delicate floral notes and a hint of musk. It comes in this glamorous perfume bottle that is actual handblown Murano glass and the outside decoration is done by hand. The 3.4 oz bottle costs €80 but it's well worth it.

A year later, when I found myself in Venezia again before departing on a Grecian and Croatian cruise, I reached out via email with my mom's formula and they prepared another bottle for me, ready for pickup at the front counter! I also found a souvenir for someone at work and they even threw in some free samples! Definitely check out this experience if you're going to be in Venice for a couple days, it is quite wonderful and makes for a very special memento to take home and reminisce.

Still rolling out pastries and sandwiches for the day, this was the perfect quiet little place for breakfast. I even stupidly left my phone here and was certain it would never be returned when I finally realized it. After racing/running back frantically 20 minutes later completely winded, the nice lady brought it out from behind the counter, and smiling. I can't thank her enough for her kindness.

This store has beautiful glass products but the service is absolutely horrendous. My partner and I…read morejust went and purchased 70 euro worth of small glass items. I don't know about Italy, but 70 euro is a lot of people's full day wage in Canada. The store attendant, probably the owner, couldn't care less for the business. He criticized us for spending "hours" choosing some inexpensive products (we were in the store for about 15 minutes). He made fun of us for asking for a price concession. He said his products are better than "Chanel". He started to get so verbally abusive and was shouting. The ego of this shop owner is something else...
