I was in Venice on Sept 11th. I could smell it before I saw it......that is how good a LUSH store smells. We don't have LUSH where I live so I am always thrilled to find a store when I am traveling. A young woman named Paula greeted me as I came in and she continued to help me while I was there. She was wonderful! So helpful, so well informed about the products, phenomenally cheerful and good natured. Within minutes I felt like I had a new friend! I was looking for one thing (KARMA soap) in particular and she helped me get everything I needed (wanted/craved). I had such a good time I really didn't want to leave the store. I love every thing about Venice but my visit to LUSH was one of the high points of my trip that day and I told her as much. I want others to know that as well. My sister and I were drawn in here by the scent of some sample soap this woman was churning. It was magical so we went in and they had so many different products, each catering to different skin types and the result you wanted to achieve. The staff was friendly and attentive and I felt like a VIP customer. The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars and not 5 is because their stock was very limited. Although they were on a busy street, and pretty big in size, they didn't have a few of the products I actually wanted. I still purchased quite a few products, but I was disappointed they didn't have more stock in what I wasn't able to get. read more

I went in here looking for something nice for my wife that was injured. I had no idea what I was looking for and they were very helpful. They gave me several really nice samples and it made her day. I felt very comfortable and I went back for soap. read more

Mary/Rosemary is fantastic! I, unfortunately, suffered an injury and was unable to leave our rental -my husband went in a week ago and she kindly gave him a few samples of body wash for me to try. Today I was able to finally leave our rental for a very short walk and she patiently took the time to inform me about new holiday scents -and also showed me product we don't have in the USA. She also kept sweetly picking up my crutches when they fell all over the store :D. The store was beautifully stocked with all sorts of Lush goodness and was conveniently located on the Strada Nove. My only complaint (and this is about the company, not this particular store so I did not dock stars), is that I really wanted to try Aramaco but employees are unable to cut less than 100g. I'm having trouble finding a deodorant that will work and just wanted to purchase maybe 30g (and there was a small pinch on the bar leftover from another block), but I was not allowed so I left empty handed. read more
