Andy Le is amazing! Booked appointments for my wife and me, and we both walked out loving our haircuts. Highly recommend!

Thank you for your careful work, attention to detail, taking the time to answer my questions, and reassure me! I love how the color came out and have already received a lot of compliments! I had let Andy know that I previously had a disappointing experience with another salon that I had gone to. He listened to my concerns and made sure I got the results I wanted. I am also very appreciative that he worked with my schedule and accommodated my request for a weekend appointment. Thanks again, Andy! read more

Andy is a magician with hair, especially Asian hair. It's so hard to find someone that knows how to do good color on Asian hair, so I'm so glad that I found Andy!! He asks for inspo photos ahead of time, as well as your current hair color so that he can plan ahead to get the color right. He uses quality hair products and the end result shows. His salon is really cute with lots of bright light so you can see your result well. Highly recommend! read more

I got my hair done by Andy Le and I'm honestly beyond impressed. My hair was jet black, which everyone knows is super hard to lift, especially for Asian hair but he handled it so well. You can really tell he knows exactly what he's doing. I was honestly really nervous going in because I've had bad experiences before, but Andy made me feel so comfortable right away. He was super patient, explained the process, and never made me feel rushed or worried. That alone meant a lot to me. What I really appreciated is how careful and detailed he was. He took his time to make sure my hair stayed healthy while still getting the color I wanted. And the results... wow. It actually turned out even better than the inspiration photo I showed him. I didn't even think that was possible. My hair looks so blended, soft, and just overall beautiful. You can tell he takes pride in his work and really cares about his clients. 1000% recommend Andy, especially if you have Asian hair and are scared to get it done like I was. He's patient, knowledgeable, and truly talented. I'm so glad I trusted him -- definitely coming back! read more

I'm extremely picky about my hair and have flown to LA for years because I couldn't find anyone in Seattle I trusted. I was genuinely nervous walking in, but Andy immediately understood what I wanted without me having to over explain anything. His color work is flawless, and his cuts are just as impressive. I haven't been this happy with my hair in a long time. Andy is officially my forever hairdresser :) Thanks, Andy! read more

Recently moved here & looking for my new hair guy... Andy did an incredible job and is so experienced and patient. I was turned away from multiple high-end salons specializing in Asian balayage due to it being "too complicated." Andy worked his magic and got my entire head in foils and toned into a multidimensional "bronde" with a trim too, all within 4.5 hours and at a great price point. I have the tiniest little postpartum baby hairs and he did a great job of blending it seamlessly with the rest of my head. I will be back in a few months!! read more

Andy is very professional and does a spectacular job. Super friendly and fun to talk to. I went in nervous because my hair has not been touched for a long time. So it's a virgin hair, but he made sure I was comfortable and talk to me through the process if I had any questions. I love the way my hair turned out. I just let him make a decision on some of what I want it done. And everything turned out great. Thank you Andy! read more

Been getting foilyage or balayage for years. Looked for another hair dresser after my last one kept progressively ghosting me. Found Andy's IG, connected and requested an appt and he got me in the same week (I'm used to 3mo long wait for the next available opening with my previous). I was so incredibly happy with the result - he got himself a regular for years to come. Also noteworthy, I appreciated that Andy wasn't super chatty. I talk 24/7 with my work and kids and it was nice to just tune out and relax my brain for 3.5 hours. read more

Andy is responsive, skilled, and efficient. Went in for a cut, and came out a very happy customer! Would highly recommend!

Finally! I've found someone who knows Asian hair! I moved back to this state in 2016 and have since been on a relentless search for a stylist who could cut my coarse, thick hair in a way that was flattering and actually matched what I had in mind for myself. Also, I've always dreamed of coloring my hair in dramatically fun colors, but no stylist/colorist I've ever encountered before Andy was able to achieve the color I wanted, and that's if they were even willing to attempt it since my natural hair is so dark. Andy took one look at my hair, said, "No problem" and he delivered! For the first time ever, I have a fun lavender balayage that I'm stoked to show off. He's been doing hair for almost 2 decades and it absolutely shows; He's a great listener, and has the confidence and skill to execute exactly what is requested of him. My hair is freakin' fabulous, and I'm over the moon that I finally have a stylist I can go to regularly. Thanks, Andy! read more

I have been looking for a new hairstylist & found Andy randomly. I scheduled a last minute cut, wash & style for a holiday party & Andy was kind enough to take me in on Christmas Eve! Let's just say, I found my new hairstylist! Andy was very friendly & listened to what I wanted. My hair has always been flat & boring. He was able to revive my hair & gave it life! I looooooove it & will definitely schedule a color in the future as well as cut ! read more

I have the hardest time trusting just anyone with my hair. Have had so many horrible haircuts and when I saw a coworker with this beautiful lilac/lavender hair and the cut looked great even with work hair? Sold! She was Asian like me and I loved how gorgeous the color and the depth/movement of her hair. She gave me Andy's info and I booked the best haircut! After chatting with him, made the plunge and booked an appointment for my first hair dye experience. So glad I did! I wanted something fun and he delivered. My hair still feels healthy and the info he gave me for keeping my hair low maintenance? I feel so...Bonita is the only word coming to mind Highly recommend and not sure I can say that any more enthusiastically. read more

I absolutely love my hair and the amazing job Andy did. A couple months ago I came in for my appointment and was super nervous, considering I went to a professional the year prior and didn't get the look I wanted. My hair is hard to lift, and I really wanted someone who specialized in Asian hair. The salon is located on the first room in Sola Salons Lynnwood after the entrance. Booking the appointment was easy and fast, and I got one a couple of weeks after reaching out to him. During my appointment with Andy, he offered me refreshments and snacks, and was very professional and kind. I got a full balayage. My hair turned out the way I wanted it, and I received a lot of compliments to this day. I feel so happy when I see pictures of me and my hair LOL. There's dimensions, framing, and highlights, and so many people ask who did my hair! Thanks Andy!! read more

I came to Andy for a balayage and color correction from a previous hair stylist work which was done horribly and now I couldn't be happier with the results! Andy has restored my hair 10 times much better. From the initial consultation, he really listened to what I wanted and gave great suggestions based on my hair type and color. The process was relaxing, and he made sure I was comfortable the whole time. The final result looks so natural, vibrant and sun-kissed--exactly what I was hoping for! Highly recommend him if you're looking for a beautiful, low-maintenance balayage, then look no further, Andy is the one for you and you would want to stay with him long term. read more

Edit after washing and hair mask: Lots of breakage. Just combing my fingers through I get clumps; strands super weak and brittle. I was very hopeful as the color I wanted was achieved, but it's so damaged. I had read other reviews here of coloring not damaging hair so I am very disappointed. Andy messaged me after he found out and explained how I'd done bleaching before elsewhere and apologized that this happened and offered free product to help get my hair healthy again. I appreciate the response as I understand so much bleaching on my hair is bad, just didn't expect so much hair loss. read more

Andy Le - Color correction from chunky brassy to blended cool ash. - Hair Stylists Near Me - Lynnwood, Washington

This was my first time seeing Andy and I'm very happy with the results. I had to find a new stylist because the person I had been going to for 12+ years is no longer available. After doing my research I found Andy, who knows how to work well with thick Asian hair like mine. I asked him for a light ash brown color and he was masterful. He cut my hair first to have some textured layers and I could already see an improvement. Then came the color - I have never had so much foil on my head, but that is how much attention to detail he has! It took a full four hours from start to finish and that's because he takes his time to make sure everything is right. The color came out great, bonus is that it blends out the gray hairs that I've started getting. His price point definitely makes this an investment but it's well worth it. With the foilayage you are basically getting two full techniques done in the same appointment. He's an artist and he knows what he's doing. I'll be coming back in 6 months to get a touch up done, right before my wedding!! Thanks for my dreamy princess hair, Andy! Tip: his Instagram has lots of great examples of the different looks he offers, it was really helpful for me in identifying the color I wanted. read more

I've been searching for years to find a reputable and experienced hair colorist. I was super nervous due to the fact I've been let down so many times. I took a chance with Andy. I asked for a soft ashy brown balayage and he really didn't disappoint. However, the sticker shock was what got me. My hair turned out beautiful, but I probably wouldn't want to pay that much every six months. Overall, it was a great location lots of parking, clean building, Andy was a seasoned veteran in his craft so if you have the cheese, I highly recommend him. read more

I found Andy through ig and he keeps his work up to date. This process took almost 5 hours. My hair needed a lot of help and Andy is meticulous. My natural hair grew out several inches and there was a harsh line because I also had it bleached (from another salon). My hair looks a lot healthier, more vibrant, & this rose gold color is perfect for spring and summer. Andy's got skills and definitely has an understanding of Asian hair. I will definitely come back and would recommend to anyone who wants a skilled colorist. read more

BEFORE Andy my hair was a mess. I have had ombre and balayage done many times by different stylists. NEVER finding a stylist who knew what they were doing UNTIL ANDY. (I wanted to wait to do my review to have pictures of months afterwards; and my hair color STILL LOOKS SO GOOD) Andy takes his time with his clients hair. Understand what you want and if possible gets you there. I honestly, when in thinking I wasn't going to be able to go as light as I wanted. But Andy did his MAGIC and my hair turned out amazing WITHOUT DAMAGING MY HAIR. I was super and I am still super happy with how my hair is. Some may say it's pricey, but I totally believe its worth it. In my case my hair is fairly long and Andy did go as light as I wanted in one sitting. He really is a very talented stylist his attention to detail is superbe and the pictures attached really don't do his artwork justice. I get many compliments on my hair color even though I don't really take that much care of my hair. I do use purple shampoo the brand recommended by Andy about once per week. I will definitely keep getting my hair done by Andy. Thank You Andy for the amazing art you did on my hair. You rock!!! read more

I booked with Andy last minute and he was super responsive! He did an amazing job with my haircut. I have long thick hair (and a lot of it) and I am super pleased with my haircut with Andy! I like my hair long, but it was getting to the point of being TOO long, heavy, and unpolished. Andy listened to my preferences and concerns and I walked out of the salon with hair that's still long enough and has a lot of movement and bounce. I felt very comfortable while I was there and plan to be back to get some color done in the summer! Scheduling the appointment was easy and convenient too. read more

A word of warning to all Asian women who have ever been curious about going from dark natural hair to any form of blonde balayage - Andy will transform your hair in ways that will make it hard to tear your eyes away from the mirror. I was not prepared to see myself in this new light and I realize that I had gone through what people call a "total glow up". Andy was so communicative and attentive throughout my 3 hour appointment. We had some nice chit chat while he hand painted my strands and put them up in foil - it was an intense process! I refused to sneak peeks at the mirror of the coloring in progress until he started finishing with the comb and blowdry, and by then all I could say was Wow. I am so pleased with the results and can't believe I waited this long to try going blonde. Andy took care of me and everyone who got to see my transformation were totally impressed. I've embraced my new look and can't wait to come back to see Andy again for more magic! read more

I have been a client for two years and spent over five hundred dollars during my last visit with Andy. My hair doesn't look close to the picture I showed him. My hair was already a blonde balayage and I came in for a touch up. I told him that I was unhappy with my hair after he texted me and asked me for feedback. He proceeded to tell me that he did a good job and that my hair is blonde and that I'm lying.... I asked if he could fix my hair or give me a refund but he refuses to do either. Don't go to Andy. He's a scam. He's very rude and unprofessional. You can read the other one star review on yelp about him. I paid $540 for this and I'm not even happy with my hair anymore. My hair is so damaged, as you can tell in the picture. I don't care if you spent 6 hours on my hair. You still did not do a good job on my hair. read more

For reference, I have half-Asian, 1a hair. I've met so many stylists who have caked on product and it ends up crunchy or flat. Andy is not one of these. The balayage ombré in ash blond worked out perfectly. Andy added a light curl with a curling iron right afterwards. He offered hair spray, but I declined, opting for hair oil instead. In terms of texture between the before (virgin hair with greying) and after, it feels like my treated afterwards has slightly more lift and volume. There's a slight scent of ammonia if you hold the strands right up close to your nose, but not when it's down and normal. It feels just as strong as before, which is a huge relief since thin Asian hair can get brittle easily with the wrong treatment. I'm glad I got to try this out with Andy. read more

I was very disappointed with the service at this salon. I had to reschedule my appointment the day before due to illness, and the stylist immediately asked for a deposit, which I was prepared to pay as I had done before. However, before I could even respond, he kept sending multiple messages about it, which made me uncomfortable. In the end, I decided not to reschedule, and instead of handling the situation professionally, he blocked me without a word of apology. The entire experience felt like he was more focused on the money than on providing a good service. He also insists on cash payments and doesn't seem to appreciate his clients. Wouldn't recommend.
