I really liked seeing the variety of musical instruments and all the different music supplies they have available. We came in specifically looking for two music books for my daughter. She plays violin and takes private lessons, so one book was for her lesson, and the other was required for school. She was able to find the one she needed for her private violin lesson, but unfortunately, we couldn't find the school book. No big deal--we'll just order that one through Amazon. One thing I did notice during our visit was that no one greeted us or asked if we needed help. We were left to browse on our own, which was fine since we knew what we were looking for, but a friendly "Hi, can we help you find something?" would have made the experience feel a little more welcoming. That said, I'm glad we stopped in and got to explore the store. My daughter enjoyed looking through the music books and checking out all the instruments. We'll definitely keep this place in mind for future music needs!

This week, my son is on spring break, so I attempted to cancel his lesson starting Monday. I called the store multiple times on Monday, Tuesday, and again Wednesday morning. No one answered, and there is no voicemail system available to leave a message. When I finally reached someone Wednesday afternoon, I spoke with Bailey, the store manager. She informed me that I would be required to forfeit the lesson due to their 24-hour cancellation policy. Here's the issue: there was no way to comply with that policy. I made repeated, good-faith attempts to cancel, but the store does not provide a functioning method to do so if no one answers the phone. When I explained this, Bailey was completely inflexible and hid behind "policy," stating that if she made an exception, she would have to do it for everyone. There was no effort to acknowledge the situation or offer a reasonable, one-time solution for a long-term customer. What makes this even more frustrating is the inconsistency. My son's guitar instructor, Onjrei, has canceled on at least two occasions with less than 24 hours' notice, and we were expected to be flexible and accommodating. It's hard not to notice that their time is treated as valuable, while mine is not. I'm expected to be flexible, but that flexibility is clearly not extended in return. I escalated the issue to customer service, only to be told that all lesson-related matters are handled at the store level. I requested contact with a district manager and was told someone "may" reach out in 2-3 days, with no name or direct contact provided. At the end of the day, this business chose to lose a long-term customer over a $30 lesson instead of showing basic fairness and customer care. If you plan to take lessons here, be aware: if you cannot reach them to cancel, you may still be charged--and management will not work with you, even when the circumstances are outside your control.

I am new to las vegas and went into the shop to talk to them about having work done on my…read moreinstrument They gave me a quote of a 140, some odd dollars.\n On having a custom pick guard, put on which I already had strings, put on, which I already had and having a pickup installation which I bought from them in their shop. We had several discussions including when I took my instrument in to have the work done and how the pickup was gonna make it sound so much better per 6 gun music.\n And what all they were going to do, including a set up pick up installation and Putting a radius in my bridge saddles I called them a little over a week later , which they told me they hadn't started work on my instrument yet , and they called me two days later to tell me it was finished Upon arrival, I noticed that my bridge saddles had a slight radius, and my pick guard was on, but no pickup installation had been performed The lady sitting at the front counter, took my instruments out of my hands and told me they would fix it.I said that's included still in the hundred and forty , some dollar price correct??? They proceeded to tell me they would need an extra one hundred and nine dollars to finish the pickup install I then told them just to give me my pickup , and I would decide if I still wanted to have them do the installation I feel this tactic was your basic bait, and switch, and I ended up paying a $165 for having a pick guard put on which I could have done myself if I wanted to keep my original pickup and a slight radius in the bridge saddles, I know my intonation was on because I had had my base set up with a basic setup, as I explained to them a few weeks before deciding to have them do more work. They tried to sew me one of their replacement necks. They have their, and then after I told them, I hadn't decided on what kind of neck I would replace on my instrument, they gave me the price quote and I asked them if all work including pickup installation would be performed at that price and they said yes, And then after they made a mistake of not installing my pickup , they wanted another hundred nine dollars to do that when I know your basic pickup install around here after calling several places that do this kind of repair is around sixty five dollars , average price I really wanted to get involved in the music scene here because I've been playing for over 30 years, including tours and opening for national acts, but\nIf this is the way businesses run here in las vegas then no thanks
