First time ever getting something powder coated. From the get go Andrews Powder Coating shop was immaculate and well organized. All the employees were courteous and very helpful. Eva was the main contact in communication via email. She always kept me informed about the project and even sent some pics along the way of the project and it was really cool to see the progress. Got my 4 seater dune buggy frame sand blasted followed by powder coat and the end result was amazing! The finish came out way better than I expected! During pickup, the staff was very helpful loading the frame on my trailer and other small components that were also powder coated were wrapped both in plastic and then in paper. It felt like X-mas! The effort in the packaging to make sure nothing got scratched or damaged exceeded my expectations of a shop. Overall, excellent service and staff, will definitely come back for future powder coating needs. Highly recommend this business. Support your local businesses. The lead time from start to finish was about 2 weeks, which was very fast for such a large component. Thank you all at Andrews Powder Coating for your hard work and dedication! I cannot wait to start my buggy build! read more

After researching many powder-coating companies, I chose Andrews to do all the major parts that I could remove on my Land Rover Defender 90 as part of my restoration efforts. Three round trips (a 64 mile round trip each time) to get it all done, and I am very pleased with their work. The drives were well worth the effort! Both Eva and Andrew thoroughly explained everything about the process, and I couldn't believe how orderly and clean the facility was. Many of the parts I gave them to powder coat had badly rusted areas, which they sandblasted. Every piece came back looking like new. read more

I have to agree with the other reviewers. The woman that works the office doesn't exactly go out of her way to earn your business. Very rude. Was shopping around to get an estimate to powder coat an iron fence and gate. She straight out told me "i volunteer to take me off the list (of prospects) because we are not cheap". I thanked her. Then I called another company in the same area for an estimate. It's like night and day. The other company was so much more pleasant to deal with. At this point PRICE DOES NOT MATTER! Willing to pay for service and some respect. That simple phone call painted a picture of what it would be like to deal with this company - No thank you. read more

Have done business with them for over 15 years and what a pain in the ass it has been. Every time they make a mistake they take no accountability! It is always the customers fault, as well we checked the pricing over the last couple of years just to find out they were robbing us on cost of powder as well as the labor performed. We now use multiple powder coating shops that are faster, cheaper, better quality and way easier to deal with. Beware of Sandee the owner as she will lie right to your face about just everything she says!! For all the good reviews they are most likely are not people that spent in excess of $180,000.00 a year with them to encounter the service I have had to deal with. BEWARE!!!! read more

Called for estimate for simple powder coating of front bumper tow hooks. Emails photos and approximate dimensions. Was sent an email back advising they needed my personal info - full name, address, etc. who my do I need to give all this info for a simple quote for two small items? I'll bring my business elsewhere. There are a lot of powder coating shops!! No thanks! read more

We have been going to Andrews Powder Coating since we owned a Harley customizing shop in Canoga Park. We also still use Andrews Powder Coating for our construction business. We get quality work and on time. We can schedule our jobs with confidence. Love the entire crew, from Sandee at the front desk and on the phone to Scott overseeing. read more

The crew over at Andrews Powder Coating are as good as you can get. They went out of their way to find exactly the color I was looking for when I had my wheels powder coated. The attention to detail is amazing. They are always fast, fun and they know their stuff. If you are thinking of having any powder coating done go see them. I drove all the way from Huntington Beach for their service. read more

I've had many parts for my bike done at Andrews, including my exhaust and other miscellaneous parts. More than satisfied with the work and excellent service by the good folks the run the joint. Great people and great work period. read more

Andrews Powder Coating - This photo is not yet up to date with all the parts they've done for me. - Powder Coating Near Me - Chatsworth, California

Very happy with the quality and turn around time. Pricing was fair and even a better value with how good the job was. I needed a few handle bars blasted and painted. They were high wear items and Andrews suggested an epoxy undercoating to stop the rust, and it made sense. Love our new handle bars and the great powder coating job. read more

From the first email to the last phone call, everyone at Andrews Powder Coating is supremely helpful and knowledgeable. They did a fantastic job clear coating my raw steel bike frame and fork. Highly recommend them for any bike project you can dream up. read more

Had a frame, rear end housing, transmission cross member, and a few other small pieces powder coated here. Gave me a good price, quick pick up and delivery, and did a good job. Can't ask for much else. Will definitely be using them again for the truck I'm building after I finish the project they did all these parts and frame for. read more

We asked Andrew's for a very complicated project - the restoration of a 100 year old cast iron bathtub. They were amazing! They had to experiment with the right coating, and they nailed it. In fact, they were more concerned with the perfection of the coating than we were. Having had this done almost 6 months ago, I can also speak to the endurance of the coating. Overall, a great experience - I would recommend them without reservation! read more

Had them powder coat a couple of small tables that had been sitting outside rusting away. They did an outstanding job, and I am really glad I took their advice regarding color. I was very impressed with the service and the quality of the job. Really like these folks. read more

Quoted me a competitive price, then added additional fees when I went to pick up the part. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH ANDREWS POWDER COATING AGAIN. read more

Take all my stuff there. Professional and friendly. High end quality powder coating!!

Andrews Powder Coating is the "Template" of what and how all businesses should be like. I recently called them and asked about their services and from the time the person who helped me on the telephone to the person who gave me my parts after powder coating, they performed exactly and went above and beyond and I'm extremely satisfied!! They rate an excellence in customer service, pricing, turn around time and quality workmanship. If you have a powder coating need, they're the ones to do it, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Andrews Team! read more

Heard good things but Chris (the owners son and front desk guy) wouldn't take my business. Apparently they are very picky with whom they do business with. Oh well, their loss. read more

I had a great experience with these guys! I'm surprised when I saw some rough reviews from others who went to Andrews. I got a very good price on (5) Bead Locks powder coated for my truck. They were honest in regards to powdering the bolts as well. They could've made more money off me in regards but explained to me that it would ruin the threads if I did so. I'm glad I didn't as cross threading will be of no fun. They have some great customer service for being a bunch of Real Men that do Real Men things. If you venture into the Off-Road/Motorcycle/Gear Head world, then you'd understand. These guys are friendly and helpful while being true to themselves. I deal with a lot of Off-Road shops and trust me. You come across some of the worse customer service from D-Bags working the counters. Cough, Cough 4-Wheel Parts, cough, cough. I called 5 different powder coaters in my general area and to be honest. Andrews was right in the middle on pricing. Hearing great things from a buddy who gets his motorcycle parts done by them. I called and got quoted over the phone. To the guy who said they can't give real quotes unless you bring it in. Its very true after calling 6 places. IF they don't know what they're looking at and what kind of work is needed to get it ready for PC. Then its hard to quote you over the phone. Thanks to Chris for making my Locks look bitching! read more

I took my corvette rims to have them black powder coated. Work was done on time for the price originally quoted. Great service. I would definitely use this shop again in the future. I don't know why Yelp only list a few bad reviews when the filtered reviews are full of 5 stars. Please read all the reviews including the filtered reviews then make up your mind. read more

Don't trust anyone other than APC to do my powder coating. I would even trust them to powder coat my kids..... Professionally run company that pumps out some of the best powder coating this side of the Mississippi read more

I personally dont like to write reviews especially bad ones, but today I received a email from Susan Andrews at Andrews Powdercoating asking for a review (which is prob why there are a bunch of other reviews that also went up today as well). Main issues... 1. took way too long, over 3 months 2. significantly over original estimate (almost by 2x) without any communication of the additional costs 3. poor quality work, we're talking about uneven finishes on identical products 4. rude, and manipulative 5. grossly over priced compared to any other professional powdercoating service. 6. obviously, they don't pay attention to detail, otherwise I would not have received the email asking for a Good review. read more

We are in our 50th year of manufacturing machines used in the baking industry, which require freguent high pressure washdowns. We are very loyal to great venders and when our original coater retired in the 90's we found Scott Andrews and gave Andrews Powder Coating the opportunity to earn our business. They worked with us in pricing and offered free pick-up and delivery. Their coating jobs are top notch and their knowledge of materials helped us find the best coatings for high pressure washings and other requirements. There is an old saying "you get what you pay for". Although they are a little more expensive than some others - it is well worth the little extra we pay for the quality we receive. Our name is on our equipment and our customers along with us benefit from the high quality materials and coating application we receive from Andrews Powder Coating! read more

Excellent work from Andrews Powder Coating and they offer colors I never even know were possible in powder. Good turn around time and great quality. We have been using a display they coated for us a couple years ago and it's still looks new. I highly recommend Andrews Powder Coating. read more

Andrews Powder Coating are the gold standard for powder coating. It does not get any better. I've used Andrews Powder coating on a couple of jobs now and really appreciate the attention I've gotten for my projects. They make you feel like you're their only customer, I feel like I have their complete attention when discussing my needs. All I need to do is describe the issues I have with the parts and the conditions they are exposed to, and Scott has the solution. Priceless. read more

The worse business I have come across. Very dishonest , poor quality of work and 3 and half time more expensive than others or I should say regular places that do similar work. Not going to detail (it would take me few hours) but I had to sue them in court for around $2,500 which I was granted $2,350 for a total job of $2,700 originally (powder coating parts for custom Harley) and then raising it up to another $1000 for fill work (just on a gas tank... yes $1000 putty work on a 4 gallon gas tank) making it $3,700 which was supposed to be included. They end up with hiring an attorney to appeal and managed to reduce my reimbursment to $1,350 instead of $2,350. Just trying to show that what I have said about this bad faith business is true. You are better off going to any other powder coating place and save 3 times as much...their work is not any better.... All the work that they did do is chipping or bubbling for whatever reason. ps. They had blocked me from going to this and another link that they sent to all their customers but I figured it out..... Thats another reason for what they stand for. Such a bad experience that it does not deserve one star. And by what I am reading on the reviews I am not the only one. WOW read more

We used APC to re-epoxy some of our commercial refrigeration shelves & they did a great job, no question!

I'm very surprised by all of the negative feed back on these guys. They are a lil pricey compared to other shops but I believe quality is worth the price. They powder coated my rims for my gsxr 600 and she looks beautiful with the white rims. I brought them in and got them back within the same week. I was referred to them by Air Flow Research who gets their headers powder coated by them. Overall they did a great job and I would recommend them. read more

Can not say enough good things about Scott & his team. I am opening a new health club and needed a unique high end looking sign. My club is near PCH/Sunset so it had to be able to withstand the elements. Scott not only gave us direction on which metals to use, but he listen to the look we were going for & steered us toward a color that was nearly 20 years old (from memory!). He jumped on the custom order, and we had our breathtakingly beautiful sign DONE within 2 weeks. He is an artist and an awesome guy! Even though I have ZERO knowledge about his product, he gave me great, thoughtful direction and never once did I feel like an idiot. He explained the process & even gave us a tour of the facility. read more
