Dishwasher kept stopping before the cycle was complete…read more Contacted Parnell's to arrange for repair. "We don't do that." (Even though their sign says they do appliance repairs.) So I research the problem and buy from Parnell's the control panel that the internet suggests, for $384. I change the panel. Seems to solve the problem, for about a week. I tolerate the problem for months. Then call Parnell's, as I heard they now have a repair guy. I described the problem and they order "the part". Repair guy comes over, swaps out a sensor. He's there 5 minutes. Says he does this all day long. He won't hang around even through a short cycle, to see if it works. $250. Guess what? Doesn't work. Several calls to Parnell's to get the guy back to solve the problem. He comes back. Says the sensor solves the problem about 50% of the time. Clearly not THIS time! Says we have three options: Pay for another sensor (which apparently has a 50% chance of working), or suck it up, or, if I want my money back they can remove the "new" sensor, and the dishwasher won't work at all (because my old sensor is "long gone"). That is the OPPOSITE of service. That is a complete screwing! Don't let this crappy company screw you!

Best Buy, as a company does the things I need it to do: 1) have stock AND 2) and sell me things at a competitive, yet dictated range by the manufacturer and their own profit margins. Major complaint with Best Buy: their floor/door staff go out of their way to talk to me about their products as a means to provide both "Customer Service" and combat "External Shrink". It's clear there is zero professionalism nor enthusiasm/pride in what they do. The last time I went in there to buy a tripod but couldn't get one of the dummies to open the display they were held in - too busy socializing with their friends (who didn't work there).
