I have seen many landscape design artists in the Western Cascades area undergo designing ponds and streams for our region. I am supposing our abundant rainfall leads them to believe that it's easy to design and maintain water features in an area with so much naturally available water. But in the winter we have a PNW Maritime climate,while our dry summers are classified as Mediterranean or near Mediterranean. I called Andreatta Waterscapes because we had a leak in our fish pond. I'm so glad I did! Tonja came to our house and within 15 minutes had found the leak. This wasn't the first time we had somebody look at it but the other guy didn't believe it was a leak and that the water from the waterfall was just evaporating. We explained all of this to Tonja and she said that it was possible, but she still wanted to check around the pond to make sure. She found some bolts that had disintegrated in our skimmer and were letting water seep out. She gave us an estimate to come back to fix it and we scheduled for her and her crew to come do the work. I'm happy to say that the work was done very professionally and that we haven't had any unusual water loss over the past two weeks since they finished it. I can't recommend them highly enough! Tonya and her crew worked on 2 rock waterfalls in our front & back gardens. They moved the big rocks to a better position for the water and also moved some rocks we needed in different locations around the garden. Tonja is an artist with water features. She does the best work in the area. She can do so much more though. She installed a paver patio, fire pit, landscape lighting and all the irrigation for new plants. Her crew put the plants in the ground, and new sod and made helpful suggestions all along for challenges we encountered. Andreatta Waterscapes installed my pond way back in 2004. It's a 1,800 gallon beautiful water feature. It's still going strong after nineteen years. Our Koi started out as 4" babies and are now over 18". We use their twice monthly service. This keeps the water clear and filers clean, etc. The crew is fantastic.
