The food and service was great. The environment was welcoming and friendly. The calzone was especially delicious.

Unfortunately, our experience at Andrea's was extremely disappointing. I really wanted to like this place, especially because I enjoy Italian food and have worked in an Italian restaurant for years, but there were multiple issues with our meal that made it difficult to enjoy. We started with the bruschetta, and it was honestly awful. The tomatoes were mushy, there was barely any basil, the cheese was completely flavorless, and the bread was served toasted and cold rather than warmed. It was also absolutely drowned in balsamic glaze. I tried adding salt hoping it would help, but I could only manage to eat one piece. The chicken Parmesan was even more disappointing. The chicken had an extremely rubbery, oddly processed texture that made it nearly impossible to eat. I couldn't finish it at the restaurant and ended up boxing up the food to take home. I can't say for certain how the chicken was prepared, but the texture was so unusual that it genuinely seemed reheated rather than freshly prepared. The red sauce was also a major problem for me. It was extremely acidic and the flavor was completely off. There was also so much excess liquid on the plate that the food was practically sitting in water. None of it tasted like the Italian food I'm accustomed to. One thing I will give them credit for: the little pieces of bread served with salted butter were actually really good. That was probably the best part of the meal. There was also a frustrating interaction when I asked about the Alfredo. I specifically wanted to know whether their Alfredo was the traditional Italian preparation of butter, Parmigiano-Reggiano, and pasta water, or the American-style cream-based Alfredo. I was told that it was "real Italian Alfredo made with heavy cream," and when I pointed out that heavy cream is characteristic of the American-style preparation rather than the traditional Roman Alfredo, the conversation became argumentative. To be clear, I understand that restaurants adapt traditional recipes, and there is nothing wrong with serving a cream-based Alfredo if that's what a restaurant chooses to make. The problem was insisting that heavy cream is the traditional Italian preparation when it isn't. I understand that Andrea's is a small business, and I have no interest in hurting a local business. We paid our bill and left without making a scene. But customers deserve honest reviews, and unfortunately, there wasn't much about this meal that we enjoyed. read more

Love the pizza. Subs were really good and full but got one today and have really cut back on the meat, bread still very good just to much bread not enough meat. Salad is small for price. I know things have really gone up . Will still get my pizza I Love them but not sure if will get another sub, like to taste the meat. read more

I had the best Italian food in town! The meat lover's calzone, veal parmigiana, and calamari were all terrific. I enjoyed it so much that this will be my go-to place for Italian food. The marinara sauce was the best I have ever had, and the complimentary bread was hot and baked to perfection. Our party of 25 people was seated in the outdoor area, which had heaters, and it turned out to be amazing. Everyone had a great time, and there were praises all around for the food, staff, and ambiance. The service was efficient and prompt. I would like to thank Jen for her excellent service. We called for carry out antipasto salad with house dressing which we love and have had many times at the restaurant, We picked it up, which is several miles away from our house and when we opened it up, the house salad dressing had been omitted. By now, restaurant is closed and the salad we were so looking forward is ruined with no dressing. So disappointed! Asked if dressing was included, but it wasn't. This long time locally owned Italian eatery is popular with locals for its good food, generous portions, good prices, quick service and multi seating options. The antipasta is HUGE and tasty. The combination platter has good portions of Italian favorites. Many people enjoy the pizza which is made fresh as ordered. The menu is extensive with much to choose from. My bestie Nikki told me about this spot! I truly believe it's a hidden gem because I never noticed it. We were celebrating her birthday so I place a huge order for 2 Of their thick square pizzas, I also order the Andrea special, a meat lover and a n Hawaiian. Their pizzas are huge and phenomenal. I love a good salad so in my quest to find one, I remembered this place because it's attached to the spa I go to. I've always wanted to try it out. So looking at pics I decided on the antipasto, a large. I called it in and when I went to pick up my order she handed me a heavy bag. I thought, this must be the wrong order, it's too heavy for a salad. So I got to my car and opened the container and boy oh boy! The container was filled to the MAX with salad. It must have weighed at least 2-3 lbs. I rushed home and dived right in. The Italian dressing was ok, could have had more flavor but I was happy regardless. A few days later I went back and ordered the same salad except with balsamic vinegar which didn't have a lot of oomph to me so instead I used my handy dandy Olive Garden dressing. I will continue to get this salad and just figure out the best dressing to order with it. This salad could be enough for 2 people, for $15.50 that's not bad. read more

Very few places have I been to where I can say the food was a bonus. Rita and all the staff are exceptionally kind and attentive. I had the honor of hearing one of the gentlemen sing in Italian as he served a elderly couple as well. You can feel the heart of Italy here and the love of Christ through the staff's generosity. As I said, the food was a bonus. Every ingredient was carefully thought of in their dishes. Prior to receiving your entree, you are served with fresh, homemade bread. As an appetizer, I had their delectably fried mushrooms and delicious ravioli. As entrees, I had their seafood pasta with Linguine, mushrooms, and grab bathed in their homemade Alfredo sauce. I went the following week and had their shrimp scampi. Both times I topped it off with Rita's perfectly baked apple bourbon bread pudding. Not only did I leave pleasantly full physically but also spiritually. I definitely recommend this little taste of heaven to everyone. read more

I had the seafood pasta with marinara sauce and crab. I honestly could not find any crab meat to speak of, the sauce was very bland and tasted like it was out of a can. No bread served (but I did not ask for bread so maybe that's my fault ). Service was ok the waitress was nice and it was not busy. Andrea's is literally less than a mile from our house. We've been curious about it since we moved in, and finally decided to try it out. We were pleasantly surprised! I honestly wasn't expecting much, based on the boring little shopping strip it was in, but the service was EXCELLENT and the food was very good! We started with the small antipasto salad to share - it was HUGE. Wanting to have room for our pizza, we didn't finish it. It was mostly romaine lettuce, with an assortment of meats (salami, ham, pepperoni), chunks of mozzarella, artichoke hearts, green and black olives, and red onion. The salad was nothing special (other than the size), but it was good. For our dinner, we ordered a medium (14") pizza with pepperoni, olives (green and black - I really, REALLY love olives), and sausage. The pizza was EXCELLENT. The crust was chewy and delicious, the sauce tasted fresh and had great flavor, and they were not stingy with the toppings. The food was great, and the service was the best we've had anywhere in a very long time. Food Poisoning. If that doesn't deter you, here's why else Andrea's failed at being a good restaurant: 1: Their online menu says delivery is an option, however when you call, they tell you they don't do delivery. 2: When I went in to pickup my food, the restaurant was dingy and smelled a bit musty. 3: Pizza is mediocre, looks like 7/11 pizza. 4: They use sliced mozzarella on their pasta, not shredded. You know how hard it is to mix sliced melted cheese into penne? Along with that, it's WAY TOO MUCH CHEESE. 5: Food poisoning. Because needing an IV of liquids & a GI cocktail and suffering through nausea is the perfect way to spend the next 24 hours of your life. read more

When I grabbed silverware from another table lady rudely said I was going to bring them I said oh no worries she said well now I have to replace those. Kids said the bathrooms were dirty. Good Italian food, pizza is delicious & toppings are fresh. Salads are large & fresh too. However the lack of customer service at front is making me question whether we'll continue to frequent this restaurant. We went with our neighbors & the young lady literally threw the silverware on the table. Rude when you call in take-out & more than once things are forgotten (salad dressings/bread). When you call back to let them know, they clearly make it known that's your problem, not theres. It's too bad as Andrea is a great guy & excellent chef. Was told by a coworker to try Andrea's. I walked in and ordered a pizza, it took about 20 minutes and I took it home. Seems like call in orders are pressed smoothly but there were issues with orders before me that people were waiting on for some reason. The pizza was ok, average, nothing special. The pizza was cooked through well and had a light chewy dough. The sauce tasted like a good traditional pizza sauce but the cheese was kind of rubbery. A better cheese would have made this a much better pizza. For a last minute buy it was okay but I'll try other places to hopefully find that "go to" place. read more
