(Sadly, I cannot remember the girls name that cut my hair that day, but I will follow up with her name in a later message) The place is adorable inside and I loved the decor!! I was in town visiting my parents and needed a cut badly before heading out for vacation. My mom raved about the place and they were able to squeeze me in. In my experience, not many people really handle curly hair well. On top of that, I have a ton of it, so I am always very skeptical with anyone doing my hair. I left feeling great, the way you always do after someone has cut and blown your hair dry, but that is not where I discovered how well she did. I then went on vacation and found that my hair was cut so well, I didn't even need to use a hairdryer!!!!! I didn't even know that could happen!!! It was cut so well that the curls and shape dried perfectly on their own!!! Now, two months later, I still am able to dry and brush my hair with ease. Prior to my cut, just brushing out my tangles was a 30 minute process alone and would stress me out! Thank god I don't have to deal with that anymore!! (I would also like to extend a personal apology to the girl who had an appointment after me who waited for so long. I should have notified them to allow for extra time on my hair and she had to wait while my hair was being blown out...sorry girl!!) I just had to give a big thanks to you girls at Studio 207 and let you know I am grateful for time and attention to detail. I am really impressed with what a quality job you did and will certainly be back every time I am in town!! (I live in DC)

Her hair color is tricky to work with, it's not easy for stylists to get the color (or the cut/length, for that matter) just the way she likes it. But we didn't have a lot of advance notice to find a stylist who could both get her in and do both the cut and the color (we tried a couple of other places that could do only the cut or only the color, not both). We are absolutely thrilled that we found Mane Atteraction here in Vero Beach. Laurie was fantastic to deal with even before our visit. She was friendly and responsive on the phone, got my wife an appointment, and got to work as soon as my wife walked through the door. Laurie is friendly and accommodating, has a great personality, and I can now say, having just left the salon, that she did a FANTASTIC job! I myself LOVE the color, it's got the desired and intended purple and a little bit of auburn. It is spot on, Laurie nailed it! And more importantly, my wife, Cheryl, absolutely loves it! She agrees the color is just perfect, just what she wanted. I could overhear a little bit of the conversation between the two of them, Cheryl just gave some background info, Laurie listened, and that was it, she did her thing and it came out great! And just like the color, the length is also perfect. It's a pixie cut. Sometimes the front is still too long, when other stylists do it. Not in the case. Again, just the right length and style. Laurie also managed her time and her clients perfectly. She knows what she's doing, she knew when to start people's color, then move on to another client, then move back, and so on. Oh, and free wifi for the husband while waiting, too! As I jokingly exclaimed upon leaving Mane Attraction, "that's it, we're gonna have to move to Vero Beach now." Seriously, though, it's so hard for women to find just the right stylist and Mane Attraction did a great job.
