Tons of books to choose from, like any library but it's really nice and the people who work there have always been super helpful when I needed to find a book. When I couldn't renew my book online, it was super easy to call and they renewed it for me pretty quickly. It's a large library with movies, books, magazines, and I think you can even do e-books. I haven't tried this yet because a good book in hand is always nice.

The library was holding a used book sale, who can resist that? I got a sweet Monty Python's Flying Circus book detailing all the episodes....it only cost me 50 cents. Across the street from the library there's a very nice park with a playground, tennis & basketball courts, dog park and baseball diamond complete with covered bleachers. Ellicottville is always fun to explore but getting away from the center of town was an unique experience.

The staff were welcoming and the building is lovely. They have a great sense of history in this building. Patrons were using the resources and socializing, making this a great public space. Even with lots of questions from different patrons, the staff were cheerful, easily handed off work and supported each other, and made sure everything worked like clockwork.

They have large collections of many types of books- such as their Young Adult section. Their non-fiction books are well organized and labeled too. They have a very small collection of local books. The DVD and CD sections are large though. They also have nice displays. The library is very kid friendly too. There are about 8 PCs to work on, as well as a work area with outlets if you bring your laptop. Staff was helpful, and library was clean.
