One of, if not THE best library in the Erie County system…read more Clean, super friendly staff, and very well stocked. And its picturesque when the sun shines into the children's area. The Toddler Time sessions with Ms. Laurie are super fun and will help you get to naptime. There's no registration necessary like some of the other local libraries. And beyond books and media they have many computers, toys and a scavenger hunt for little folks.

Wow! I haven't been here in ages. I used to come when I was a kid and then I moved out of the area…read morefor many years. I stopped in to see if a book I wanted to read was available and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't realize there was a huge addition put onto the back of the building. Also the entrance is on union street and not at the front of the building anymore. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They were happy to answer questions and help me find what I was looking for. This is a good sized library with all kinds of resources and programs for all members of the community. There were a lot of movies and music you could rent out as well as books. And I learned that you can return your books to any Erie County Library. The space feels fun and inviting. There was a huge tree made of books, decorations for St. Patrick's day and cute book characters in the children's area. When I was there it was quiet and would have been a great spot to get work done or read. Staff are all wearing masks and guests must do the same. It was very clean and the environment felt safe to be in.

Orchard Park is a large, spacious library in a beautiful area. It's very kid-friendly, as there's…read morean extensive children's area with play space. They also had a book sale going on where some of the books were 4/$1! The library has big shelves of fiction and non-fiction, and lower shelves for the kids. They have a big collection of local history as well as travel books and graphic novels. I like that the non-fiction sections are labeled on the top of the shelves by category. There are nice displays throughout the library. The library seemed very busy while we were there, but perhaps the book sale drew people in. There are a bunch of PCs and lots of places to sit, including comfy chairs, couches, and tables. They're spread out throughout the library so you can sit tucked away if you'd like to. Big parking lot and places to walk nearby too (like the caboose behind the library or the park across the street).

I really enjoyed the layout of this library. At the center is the information desk, where you can…read morecheck out books and movies. As you walk in the entrance, there's a small nook filled with old books for sale. All subject and topics are represented, with the prices very reasonable. When I stopped there, they had a 4/$1 Book sale. The movie selection is excellent as well. There's even a self-checkout if you're in a hurry. Very convenient. I will definitely come to this library again in the future.
