It's a great learning church, and the pastors are wonderful teachers. Oh, and if you go there, you will probably see me somewhere, unless I am working in the nursery, because I try never to miss a service. It's a place to take your kids where they can learn how to have their own walk with Christ, and not just be entertained. Don't get me wrong, it's fun! A scene from a movie was played on the screen during the How to: Stay Married series on 1/24/24 posted online (but the movie clip's audio is muted during the recording). It contained a speech with a significant number of profanities or swear words, praising hookup culture, and getting drunk. Austin said it was a great speech, although I couldn't tell if he was joking; he seemed to love it. He did not though speak on those aspects of the speech; as if that was acceptable behavior.

We wanted to get more involved so we went a small group in Cedar Park for a while. I also worked with a young fellow who attended the church. Then we interacted with members on Facebook . The common thread is that they HATE. Not brown people , not poor people but Republicans. I don't remember any of them calling attention to Jesus . No room for anyone of different viewpoints. It's an "us" versus "them" hotbed. . So much for "no perfect people ... emphasis on the word ALLOWED since they no doubt run everyone else off. One of their "members" Nancy even said on FB that NO Christian SHOULD honor Charlie Kirk. I'm sure it's a wonderful place if you believe there should be only one political party in the US. .... Something about the culture there since it's the common denominator , Right ? If it's a root level ground swell of members so be it ... but if it's a top down thing : James 3:1-12 Amplified Bible (AMP) Not many [of you] should become teachers [serving in an official teaching capacity], my brothers and sisters, for you know that we [who are teachers] will be judged by a higher standard [because we have assumed greater accountability and more condemnation if we teach incorrectly].

It's about relationships with yourself, your family, friends and God. It's so educational and down to earth. It's a come as you are, come when you desire and come when you need it. Zero pressure from anyone. Always welcoming and everyone offers a comforting smile. I've personally never felt more at home so to speak while attending a service. I highly suggest at least one visit. The worship team is amazing, you can feel the Holy Spirit move as the hands of the congregation are raised to the most high, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Pastors Bob and Tammy Brydon are authentic in their passion for the word of the Lord. They do not shy away from the hard stuff, in fact they dive in and bring biblical truth so that deliverance and freedom can be found. The children's ministry seems to be loved by the children and their parents. We have adult children so we can only go by the children & young adults that smile and laugh while bolting down the aisles as they are being dismissed to go to class. This is not a mega church in size but it's heart is mega full of loving people who gather to worship, learn, and have fellowship with those around them.
