When I arrived, I waited no more than two minutes and was assisted right away. The staff was very welcoming, and the overall Live Scan process was swift and didn't take much time to complete. Two months later, I called to see if they still had my ATI number available since I had misplaced it after getting fingerprinted. The lady on the phone explained that they usually don't keep that information after 30 days, but she checked to see if she could still find it--and she was able to provide me with the ATI number I needed. She also explained that I had been approved for my CTEC license, which made me very excited. The level of help and understanding they showed regarding my concern was truly above and beyond. The individual I spoke with was not compassionate about our situation, although it's a lose-lose, a little kindness and compassion would have been very appreciated. I was met with judgmental remarks from her, as if I don't already understand the situation. "I'm well aware", was my response to her rebuttals and out-of-line comments about our situation. Do better as a human, Cynthia. Do better as a person who needs to be trained and educated on proper phone etiquette, and again compassion, which was warranted, but not received, unfortunately. She ended up hanging up on me in a desperate attempt to get rid of me. Hanging up on a potential client is also not proper phone etiquette. I never once became aggressive or rude, I just simply asked her to remain focused at the task on hand and I didn't need her comments about OUR situation, or her very out-of-line comments. I truly hope the call was recorded and I hope management takes this review seriously because this should never happen to another person seeking help from their business!
